First off, the whole area is super cool. There was shops, bars and restaurants all around. Street parking is available, but hard to find. We ended up in a pay to park lot right down the street. We didn't have a reservation but was able to be seated right away since it was a late lunch/early dinner. Customer service was ok, nothing to write home about. Some of my dining companions were from out of town and really wanted to get a taste of some good Mexican food. We ordered frozen margaritas to start in different flavors. What was supposed to be one drink ended up being a couple of more rounds. They started us off with really good chips and salsa. I like that they give each person their own bowl of salsa. For appetizers, we got an order of beef empanadas and queso fundido with chorizo. Those beef empanadas were very good. They were big, with lots of perfectly seasoned filling. The queso fundido was a large, sizzling plate of cheesy goodness. The plate itself was cool as it had a sliding drawer underneath with hot tortillas. This dish was very tasty and could have been a meal in itself. We barely put a dent in it. For my entree, I went with Gimme A Chimi. Chimichangas is one of my go to dishes. They did it pretty good here. It was filled to the brim with fajita meat. I do think the meat could have been seasoned just a little better. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals as well. I believe she also got coffee from the coffee bar. That's a must if you drink coffee. They have all different kinds of coffee. Lots of people order that. Food wise, in the past I would always get the Classic Breakfast. That was always really good. Trying to eat better these days so went with the omelette. Overall good place to eat. But with kids, we relied on children's portion sizes and children's prices, and without that option, bringing the family here just doesn't make sense anymore.
