Great view and excellent food and service. We had great drinks and appetizers and the waitress checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything. And they are dog friendly which is great. They even gave us a pupcup.

We had 25 people for a Communion Party in the Wine Room with a sit-down plated all Gluten Free menu and it was FANTASTIC. The initial response to our event inquiry was quick despite the quick turnaround timing. Jessica was incredibly responsive and any miscommunications were immediately remedied. The guests (comprised of usually-picky restaurant industry alumni) were blown away by the taste and quality of the food and said it was better than regular food made with gluten *Chef got a well deserved ovation. Portions were surprisingly large for the seated lunch menu option and cost effective for the area, especially since they did not inflate the cost due to my ask of making EVERYTHING Gluten Free for my Celiac daughter celebrant. They even made GF bread for bread service for the tables (chef advised they get GF flour from Italy) and they can make so many GF options because they make everything "old school" from scratch. The fried Calamari is AMAZING. The server was fantastic also. We came before the seasonal liquor license was active but she still was on top of filling everyone's sodas, etc as if they were drink-drinks. The management was also elbow deep in clearing plates and wrapping even the family style salads grandparents asked for to-go. We didn't want for anything despite coming at the awkward time of 4-7pm. And yes, we were THOSE people not seated ordering espresso and cappuccino but everyone still got everything and even ate the flourless chocolate torte for dessert because it was also fantastic. We couldn't take any pictures because we all inhaled the food so fast, it was too delicious. They are amazing people, amazing food, so accommodating, and the value for their product is something no one else in this area could ever compete with.

We sat at the bar for some nice cocktails and light appetizers. They have a great drink menu with infused options. Octopus was a hit. Service was friendly. Nice environment and beautiful scenery. Come here sometimes in the summer to change it up. Def. recommend.

    Gluten free available?

I didn't see that on the menu but surely if you ask the server they may be able to fulfill your request. If not, there's a few spots to go to right in the same area.

We were lucky enough to score a table right on the water, with water views and a live band. The atmosphere was fun, lively, and everything you'd hope for in a waterfront restaurant. Midway through our meal, however, a sudden rainstorm rolled in and created a bit of chaos. Everyone rushed to grab one of the limited covered tables under the tent, making the experience feel a little frantic for a while. The staff did not help figure out where to go, what to do or anything really helpful. Food-wise, the best was Mike's Signature Bang Bang Shrimp. The rice bowls were less impressive. The vegetable component was more of a slaw than the stir-fried vegetables we expected, the dishes could have used much more sauce, and the panko-crusted mahi bowl felt heavier and more fried than anticipated. We also ordered a bucket of High Noons, but there was confusion about the happy hour deal. Neither the menu nor our server could explain the bucket pricing, and when the bill arrived, it appeared we paid the same as ordering the drinks individually. That was disappointing and took away from the experience.

We started our meal with Fried Calamari that was a potion that the three of us could not finish. The calamari was fried just enough and on the side was enough tomato sauce for all that we were given. This was middle of the road with no spice intended. For my meal I had seafood risotto that was fantastic. It came w small pieces of lobster, clams, shrimp and I believe scallops. This came in a nice amount of risotto and a sauce that was the best. There was plenty of fish to pair with risotto. Nobody could claim they skimped on the fish as there was plenty. A second meal was off the daily specials. This was cubed eggplant and pasta. The pasta was rigatoni in a very nice tomato sauce. And again this was another great tasing meal. The final meal was eggplant parm that came with spaghetti. The eggplant and cheese balance was really good and my wife loved the dish. Overall everyone loved their meals and all of us took home enough for another lunch or dinner. This is not our first time here and plan on returning again. They offer a dinner section, seating at the bar and some high top tables to fit your liking. Waitress service was top shelf and revisited the table on a frequent basis. If you want great meals at a fair price this is a place for you to at least try. Our bill plus soda and ice tea was barely $100. My only callout is the noise in the room is a bit loud. There is little draping to deaden the sound and if you are looking for a quiet meal this might not be your place. Especially Friday through Sunday.

We went out to eat twice while there, once for dinner and once for lunch. I will review both places using this as my intro to the reviews. For dinner, we ate at Jack Baker's Wharfside, which I also see listed as The Wharfside Seafood & Patio Bar. Frankly surprised it has very average ratings, as I would not say that was our experience on Tuesday night, August 4, 2026. It was reasonably busy and likely explains the somewhat slow service. We were 4 adults and a toddler. We had a few cocktails; all were reasonably good and fairly priced. There were also a few glasses of wine with the meals from a decent, but not extensive list. Everyone had seafood, including the toddler, which included the spicy garlic shrimp appetizer that was a crowd pleaser, and main courses that consisted of snow crab, mussels, shrimp, scallops, and lobster. i was the only one to have the lobster bisque, which I thought exceptional, as it had a creamy consistency and loaded with lobster chunks. There were no complaints though about any of the dishes and we were all happy customers. The prices were reasonable considering the fare and the location, especially as the patio featured a live band, We dined on the patio, but far away from the band, so the music level was pleasant, having seen some reviews suggesting it can be a bit much. It would be hard to complain though about the scenery, as the patio faces a calm channel that leads out to sea. All in all it was very a successful evening. I felt this rated a solid 4, understanding some would rate it a 5, but difficult to understand why anyone would place it lower than a 3.

I've always heard good things, and I thought the food stood up to the reputation. The restaurant was packed on a Monday night, which was probably a good sign for what led to a delicious meal. I really enjoyed the roasted oysters topped with yummy breadcrumbs. My daughter enjoyed a sushi appetizer and wedge salad with blackened tuna that she claimed was delicious as well. Our other dinner partner enjoyed his halibut. I really loved the show-stopping, gigantic jumbo lump crab meat risotto. It was very filling, but super delicious. The food was rich and, in some ways, basic, but executed perfectly. I added some of the street corn and that really made things even better get this dish. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere was busy, if not hectic. Our table was in the middle of the room, next to a large family with little kids. One was seven months old and the other was two. That seemed like a bit much for a dinner with these price points. It's not an inexpensive restaurant and certainly not a family-vibe Houlihan's. We had mixed feelings about the atmosphere, but I kind of thought it was cool--a really pretty building with some rustic charm.
