After seeing this dealerships online deals, my father and I decided to stop in! As we pondered through cars outside we were greeted by our salesman Rick Klein. Mr. Klein helped us work out the deal we needed to take home my new Hyundai!!! Very pleased. Ask for Rick, you will not be disappointed! read more

Worst car experience Day1- Went dealer at 6pm, finalized on car prize numbers, sales person said, they dnt have finance guy, come next day Day2- went to dealer at 2pm, he asked to wait as there is much rush because of saturday, waited until 7pm. Total 5 hrs wait. They make sure i goes last to Finance guy. Then i shocked, when they forwarded paper with Price. Its $1000 more. When we asked , then manager came started talking in big volume and asking SAY YES OR NO. I wasted total of 12 hrs. Then started pressuring and I have no option to buy , it was in need car. Dealer gave all kind of reason, that I am on H1b and all. Worst car experience .... Do not go this dealer. if you make deal, get in written (total out of door price + interest rate agreed on) and he asks to come next day. Big liar !!! read more

Would not recommend this car dealership. I purchased a new 2019 Hyundai from this dealership in November 2018. Our salesman was Ozcan, who gave us completely wrong information during the purchase which cost us a trip to the DMV. I called the dealership since we were given inaccurate information, and our contact person Chad was going to "make things right" and order me a privacy screen for the trunk of the car. Unfortunately Hyundai didn't have that available yet, so I called back after the new year. When I called back, Chad was no longer working at Hyundai but was at their partner store Mazda. He informed me that the privacy screen was now available, and ordered me a complimentary one that would arrive by April 15th. The date came and went, and I received no call from Chad. I called the Mazda dealership back and found out that Chad no longer worked there. I was then transferred to the parts department, but there was no record of him ordering me anything. Andy, from the parts department, reached out to the sales teams to see what was going on and I ended up following up them directly (specifically Angel). Angel was eventually able to get me a complimentary privacy screen for my troubles, but frankly it was not worth all the hassle I had to go through. If they had salesmen on the floor who were knowledgeable in the first place this would not have happened. read more

The technology in new cars has come such a long way. Unfortunately at Wayne Hyundai, buying one remains primitive. I had selected a model with options, negotiated a price in writing, and was told the vehicle would be ready when I arrived. When I got there, I was told I would be working with someone else. The vehicle brought to me was the wrong one and was not prepped. I now had to choose one from the lot that matched as close as possible. I thought bait and switch was illegal. The now missing options would be mailed to me for me to put on, or I could return to have them installed - not likely after this experience. Toward the end, the price for the car kept escalating with undisclosed fees. Every time there was an issue or question, the sales guy would disappear for 15 mins while I sat waiting. When I referenced the e-mail with model, options, and total cost plus title & DMV fees, I was told repeatedly that it was just to get me in. When the estimate came back for the trade in, it was $2,000 below Edmonds & KBB. They said the price they were selling me the new car for was too low and has to make it up somewhere. Really? At the end, paper work had to be corrected 3x. Either the information, dates, or VIN was wrong. It took 5.5 agonizing hours to leave with the new car, which was cleaned poorly. These arrogant people will ruin your new car experience. read more

Bad customer service. Was treated very rudely on phone when discussing fees to purchase car. Will not recommend them or use them for any future dealings. read more

Wayne Hyundai was the worst experience of my life. They are so sneaky with their fees and "color" choice paperwork. So you go to a car dealership looking for specific car and color you want. If you pay for a product, shouldn't you get what you want? I mean that sounds like a reasonable thought. Instead, Wayne Hyundai makes you choose three colors because they can't guarantee your number one color choice or any of them for that matter, even though their recorded message (when you're put on hold) clearly states that they have every car in stock. I, not knowing that this is the game they play, make a car purchase and wait for the phone call that my car has been located and ready for pick up. A week and a half goes by and still no car! I've called on several occasions and it's always the same response, "we are waiting for other dealerships to call us back to strike a deal." I call one more time after a week and a half and ask for manager. I speak to a manager named Peter. For starters, he is extremely rude. I could barely get a word in without him cutting me off to feed me some garbage excuse, but besides that, I find out the sales rep that sold me the car was fired and he was taking over. He already knew at this point that I was pretty angry about the whole situation and said he would contact me back when he had update. The next day he calls and states that he can give me the same car AWD (instead of FWD) for the color I want for an additional $1800. He acted as if he was doing us a favor with this deal. I told him he was out of his mind if he thought I was going to pay a cent more for an inconvenience he was bestowing upon me. To make matters worse, instead of de-escalating the situation, he made it worse because he pretty much said, either pay extra, pick another color( which again, no guarantee you'll get it), or get a refund of my deposit and do business elsewhere. I took my refund, but I'm highly reconsidering buying a Hyundai or even recommending anyone else from buying one. I especially will never recommend Wayne Hyundai ever again. read more

I bought my first Hyundai Sonata in 2011 from Lynnes in Boomfield - I was totally impressed and loved the car. When the Sonata was redesigned in 2015, I decided to trade up and purchase the new version. Lynnes was just too far so I went to Wayne which was much more convenient and I expected them to be competitive. I worked with Paulette. She was pleasant but didn't seem to know a great deal about the car. On the test drive, she seemed to be pushing buttons at random to show me the new features. We worked through the negotiation process and I purchased a Sonata with specific options - identical to the ones on the car I test drove. Paulette even gave me a copy of that window sticker so I knew all the features and could call my insurance company with the details. When the car came in, it was missing a few features. When I mentioned it, I was met with less than enthusiastic replies but told to stop back in. I went back again and had the distinct feeling Paulette was annoyed but she handed me some pieces that were in a plastic bag and told me when I came in for my first service, they would be installed. I really felt they should have been put on right then and there but left with the bag of parts. When I did go for service, I was informed that the pieces I was given were not for a Sonata but taken off another hyundai and would not fit on my car. They weren't even new pieces and they weren't intact, pieces were missing - they couldn't be installed even if they were the right ones. Incredible!! This was like a bait and switch. I was never given a complete explanation or comprehensive review of the car. This was a very poor car buying experience. I would NEVER buy another car at this dealership. One other issue: The service department is not located on site. For service, Hyundai owners must use the Mazda service facility at a different location. read more

Very bad experience with Wayne Hyundai. Worst customer service. Liars and Cheaters!! PETER HERBST was my sales person and he is very rude and given me a lot of attitude after I got the car!!! I did trade-in my old car and got the new car, asked them to transfer my number plates. When I got the car they gave me temporary number plates and gave me my old plates back. I asked what I should do with these plates. Sales consultant PETER HERBST told me to return it to DMV. I asked a few times, but he was kept mentioning to return it to DMV and I said why? We are transferring plates and he said it's a process. After a week he called me and said you returned the plates to DMV so now you need to pay for new plates and I said you asked me to return the plates and that's the reason I returned. He completely denied about returning the plates to DMV. I called a few times to talk to the Manager, Never got called from him. When I got hold of him , he promised that will take care of it, but when I went there he was not there and the other manager, he gave me lot of attitude and said I don't know, I wasn't there. They made me pay for the plates. SUCH A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... !!!!!!!! DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. read more

After shopping at other Hyundai dealerships, this one was definitely a breath of fresh air. We got this salesman named TISU. He was pretty new but knowledgeable on the cars and the details of the vehicle we were asking for. we gave him numbers on what we wanted to spend and of course after some negotiations we were able to come up with one. Whether we bought the car or not I appreciate the professionalism presented with Tisu. He was to the point but not getting frustrated or upset that we didn't take deals right away. He was a very cool guy and I appreciate his tactics. I shared with him our experience at other places and stated this dealership had a good atmosphere. The lot was pretty organized, We got help right away and not too much fluff. When you buy a car you should feel good about the purchase and I definitely did. read more

Went for my first Service visit and it was a delightful experience, prompt, professional service. You can't get better than that!

From the minute we entered the show room, to after our lease was completed, our leasing experience at Wayne Hyundai could not have been better! Rick Klein is what every salesperson should be: respectful, friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. It's like leasing a car from a good friend. The showroom is clean and organized, and everything is in order. Rick took his time explaining everything, was super patient, was honest and down-to-earth. Unlike other dealerships, he KNOWS all the vehicles inside and out. And the way he worked to get us the deal we wanted was amazing. He follows up to make sure you're happy and to answer any questions you may have. Even the manager there (last name of Rizzo, don't recall his first name) was so kind and funny, and welcomed us like old friends. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. If you are in the market for a Hyundai, DONT go anywhere else! Thank you, Wayne Hyundai!!! read more

I would not recommend buying a car from here, especially used. I found a car online and called to make sure that it was still there and that there may be some negotiating room on the price since the car I liked was a bit more than I wanted to spend, and the salesperson told me that there was. I then went in to look at a car and it seemed ok at first, although they had the model mislabeled (it was actually 1 model below what they had it listed as). Then we started talking about the price, and the salesman immediately raised the price from what was posted on the online advertisement. He said that the car had almost $2000 in repairs and that would be added on to the price. When he came back with a final number, it was over $3000 more than the price listed online. Needless to say I walked out of the dealership and will never consider buying a car here again. read more

I am so glad that I decided to go to Wayne Hyundai! The manager Angelo was such a sweetheart and help me get into my dream car! If it wasn't for Angelo I probably wouldn't have bought the car there. Adam took me on my test drive and explained everything for me. They both were not pushy like typical car salesmen. They also didn't take advantage of me being a young female. I am so happy with my new car and the price! I highly recommend going there and dealing with these 2 lovely guys! read more

My husband and I went back and forth on whether or not to buy from this dealership. We ended up buying a certified pre-owned vehicle and while we love it, there have been some issues with the management in this dealership. First of all, the sticker price on the car had a completely different price than what was on their own website. When we went back a second time to buy this car, our salesman appeared shocked since he claimed to never check the website!! The same sales guy sometimes would have a testy attitude when speaking with my husband during the negotiation process and when we finally did agree on the price, we were forced to pay $400 for docs and another $400 for vin etch, which is not a requirement under NJ law!! They wouldn't remove this from the sales sheet and even after we finally signed the contract, we found out that the sales guy told us that the car came with a bumper to bumper warranty but the finance mgr said that's not the case!! What?! There was no going back so we continued with the rest of the financing agreement. We noticed a few things needed to be corrected after driving the car for a couple days so we called the dealership right away. Btw, the service dept is in Wayne MAZDA but they NEVER told us this so we wasted our time going to Hyundai on accident!! The people at the service dept in Wayne Mazda were rude and basically looked at us like we were wasting their time. But they wrote everything down and gave us a loaner car (after asking for one) when we were told we had to leave the car there for a few hours or a day til they checked it out. Almost an entire week went by before hearing back from them so I finally called and the receptionist was so annoyed when she answered our call, she rudely told us the car was ready but they were too busy to call us to let us know. Seriously?? Most of the issues were fixed but the nav system still never directs us to the right place or anywhere remotely close, regardless of what address we put in, we've tried everything possible but guess we'll have to use Google maps or waze. Next delightful incident was being pulled over at a random traffic stop for not having a registration sticker on the windshield after having driven the car for nearly 3 mos!! We honestly never noticed it since we got the car at what we thought was a reputable dealer and they never caught this all the times we went back and forth to pick up the plates, registration or even for service!! So thanks for dropping the ball because now we got a ticket for no registration sticker at an exorbitant fee, even after explaining to the officer that this was a dealer oversight and the car was promised to us that it passed 100+ point inspection. I called Wayne Hyundai the same morning when they opened and they asked me to come in to pick up the registration sticker but didn't even want to do anything to help us pay for the ticket even though they admitted this was wrong on their end for missing it!! I spoke with the finance mgr who was nice but gave me the diplomatic bs about not promising anything about helping us with the ticket then when I went to pick up the sticker after work, the general mgr (Rob) was there instead. He was cold and dismissive, didn't care about a word I said about how much of an inconvenience it was to have to come back and forth and especially about the ticket. He ignored everything I said and just made a copy of my ticket and said he'd have to follow up with the gm. He took my phone number and handed me the registration sticker and was about to walk away but I asked him if I was supposed to install the sticker myself then he called another sales guy to do it for me. This guy heard everything and told me that Rob WAS the gm and he'd take care of me. Yeah right!! The next day, I get a voicemail conveniently during lunch time from the finance mgr (who seems to have personal skills compared to everyone else there) leaving me a long winded message saying basically sorry but not really sorry since they won't do jack squat about my ticket but have a nice day. He even admitted that this was wrong on their end to have missed it but sorry they can't do anything to help us!! My husband and I will never buy another car from this place ever again after this nightmare!! We really should've bought the BMW we loved even more than this car because I know we would've been treated better there. Beware of unprofessionalism and lack of attention to detail as well as hidden fees they won't let you get out of paying!! Even BMW and other dealers we went to didn't force us to get optional stuff like vin etch!! Utterly disgusted, will be reporting to BBB as well as Hyundai corporate. Shame on you for poor business practices!! Would give negative stars if possible. read more

I went into this dealership and was assisted by Rafael Mateo. Rafael has a great wealth of knowledge in the auto industry. He was able to clearly answer each and every question that I had in order to assist me with making an informed and educated decision on the right vehicle for my family. My daughter recently bought a used car at Wayne Hyundai. A 2013 Sonata. She gets a flat (air leaking from the valve) and guess what....NO SPARE! She calls Wayne Hyundai and is told USED CARS DON'T COME WITH SPARES only new cars! Yes...ALL used cars. Buyer beware! It would be nice if she were told in advance so she wouldn't get stuck on the side of the road or is it in the small print in the contract. I guess it's worth more to the dealership to remove and sell the spare separately than a person's safety. Very dangerous. read more

I continue to be unhappy with the service of Wayne Auto Mall Hyundai and their response. I finally received my registration certification December 9th, about two weeks after the date promised. I made this deal primarily through e-mail and phone and was happily surprised to find that the manager and salesperson did not try to change or alter the deal in any way once I showed up at the dealership. They are definitely straight shooters, professional, and most importantly, HONEST! I was especially ecstatic with the customer service we received from our salesman, Giovanni Urso. He answered all of our questions and seemed genuinely concerned with making sure our transaction and experience was a positive one! He even called Hyundai finance to follow-up on a reimbursement check that I was supposed to receive as part of the deal for Hyundai to buy me out of my current Ford lease one month sooner. He assured me the check was on it's way, and he was true to his word. I highly recommend working with Mr. Urso when you visit this dealership - you will not be disappointed!! The sales manager, Tom B. was top-notch as well and conducted himself in a very honest and professional manner at all times. I must admit this dealership earned my respect and that is exactly why they earned my business. read more
