No complaints over here! Where can you go to get cheap gas, free air, free atm surcharge and delicious food? I frequent this location probably twice a week for breakfast or lunch. It's usually pretty packed due to base traffic but service is quick. They also added the self check out registers. That location is the only one I've seen them at. I absolutely love their sandwiches and salad. Large portions of food for low prices. Their coffee is pretty good too. We always look for a Wawa when traveling and will continue going! read more

I never go inside of this Wawa, but I sure do score on the cheap fuel. I have no idea why, but they have gas that is sometimes 12 cents cheaper than other places around Hampton Roads. That includes the warehouse clubs too, they beat pretty much everybody. Pumps are usually very crowded due to a strong following that know they have fuel price so reasonably. This causes congestion with getting in and out with any time of speed. Lot is usually clean enough, but often you will find a pump closed off. But if your wanting even a tiny bit cheaper that this place and have cash, they hit the independent across the street. So if your not in a hurry and you find yourself around the Norfolk Naval base this should be your place to gas up. read more

It's been a long time... I forgot how good their sandwiches were. No other gas stations have a sandwich as good as Wawa.

Prior to coming to Virginia, I had no clue what a Wawa was..lol But damn, my buddy took me here last week and this is one of the most impressive gas stations I've ever been to. This morning I went to get a breakfast bacon burrito and a raspberry tea drink from this WaWa's in Norfolk Virginia (via Hampton boulevard) some time after my husband generously added some money funds to a wawa gift card he gifted to me. The burrito was processed in a reasonable timeframe and was tasty and the cashier handling my order had a pleasant/cheery demeanor even with the morning timeframe I showed up and he was accurate in gauging right away that I wanted a print up of my gift card balance remaining after the order was purchased (the wawa gift card is also registered online though it is nice to have the receipt to reconcile the balance on the receipt with the online balance for a just in case measure). read more

It's a Wawa, so obviously it's far more than your run of the mill gas station. Until I was stationed on the East Coast I didn't know the splendor & glory that was Wawa! These gems are the best! As a younger man I would turn up my nose to gas station dining, but then I was introduced to the Wawa Food Market & it was like I was given a whole new perspective on the meaning of life ;) From the fact that they're open 24 hours to the wide variety of quick & fresh food choices I am a convert. I will not only eat at a Wawa gas station, but I will eat eggs at one! Yes, eggs from a gas station!! My only knock is that they insist on using the EXCELERATOR instead of paper towels in the men's room. They offer donuts, a wide variety of coffee & all their coffee is $1 regardless of size. They have a to go cooler of fruits & veggies & hummus & salads as well as a heat lamp selection of pre made breakfast sammies. I've always loved the touch screen ordering option that they have been offering since my very first visit in 2003!! It really removes the human error of "I'm sorry sir, can you speak up?" or "did you say you wanted ham or spam on that?" Touch screen will soon be replaced with an app that just knows what you want to eat because of the time of day it is, or Amazon :D At the end of the day, they offer all of the convenience of a 7-Eleven with higher quality than a fast food spot or even a local deli. Really 5 Stars for convenience and fresh deli food. Docked 1 star because the not so lovely behind the counter was too lazy to fetch more coffee tumblers from the back. Also docked 1 star for wine and spirits; they could use a better beer and wine selection for sure. I'm buying a WAWA and bringing it back to Cali when I win the lotto. For a fiver, you can get a freshly made custom made hot pastrami sandwich, and a sixer of Smashmouth Beer for another tenner. What's not to love about Wawa?!! You can get gas, put free air in your tires, get money out of the ATM with no surcharge and get some delicious food all at the same time. Every Wawa I've been to has been set up the same way, which seems to be pretty efficient. The ones that I frequent are the location at Hampton Blvd and Western Branch Blvd (one near work and the other near home) Gas prices are usually a little cheaper here than at say Shell or BP. Specific to this location on Hampton Blvd. The time of day you go has a large impact on the service that you'll get and the speediness of such. This location is in between Naval Station Norfolk and the Container Terminal. It is a zoo here from about 5AM until about 9AM and then again from about 11AM to about 2PM. There are times that I've had to wait for a parking space and then get inside and have to wait for computer to place my order and I have waited in excess of 15 minutes for my order, it' s just that busy! The employees do a good job with traffic control as best they can, but it just can't be helped. This is one popular Wawa! read more

Decent place one stop shop, the gas is consistently cheaper than most other places. The sandwiches that they make on station are also made well to your specifications. They get you in and get you out of there. This location is near a military base so be advised early morning and late afternoon they will have a lot of customers. read more

WHY oh WHY has this place not come to the south yet!! When I travel north enough to see one of these around I get instantly excited. Most people in the south have no idea what a WaWa is and neither did I before I visited Dover, DE 10 years ago. This place would def make lots of money seeing as how it is open 24/7 and the deli stays open 24/7. beats getting hamburgers on a late night. First Wawa that I have marked down to 3 stars. Did this mainly because of the volume of people. The other day I suffered through a girl in line talking loudly on her cell phone about having sex as I paid for my gas.
