Went to this cookout and the next night my credit card information had been stolen and someone made several purchases the next day. This is the ONLY place I have physically handed someone my card and you can't see their registers when they ring you up from the drive through window. Everywhere else I shop I used my phone wallet. My friend recommended this place to me and I must say, I was not super impressed. I do like the fact that they are open very late, so they can fill that late night fast food craving you have. No dine in. Just a small fast food kitchen in a narrow parking lot with good street signage. Double drive thru was lightning fast though we were the only car on Saturday at 630pm. Janae patiently took our order, confirmed it for accuracy, inquired what sauces were needed, shared our total, and instructed us to drive up for payment. Window was on the passenger side; food was received seconds after payment was given. 1/4 lb cheeseburger tray with nuggets, fries and shake (x2) was $15.50. Neither cheap or sky high for the quantity of fair value food. Not spectacular but my kids like it, especially the custom shakes (aka ticking gut bombs). Parking lot was clean and well lit. Ordered something with the cheese bites as a side and there was literally so much hair stuck through the crust I could pick multiple bites up with a single strand and when I took the food back the main manager was super difficult about the whole situation. Now how for one, every time I come to the only cook out I've ever been to, do they manage to find some way to get my order wrong EVERY TIME! This time I ordered blew my mind, I asked for a bacon burger with cheese only double fries, and a bacon burger with slaw and fries. Drive 15 minutes back home only to find out we got a bacon burger just cheese with no bacon, and then a bacon burger with double fries no cole slaw. Y'all must live under a rock to mess up an order this bad also with attitude. I'm not from Virginia and I will never recommend this establishment outside of this state. Cheap decent food with cheap employees. Don't get a job or work and waste people's time/money that we work hard for when we expect good customer service. This place is a joke. HORRIBLE! I've been to 3 other locations and enjoyed the food and the portion of food. This location was a huge disappointment. I couldn't believe the lack of food that was in the tray. They should be embarrassed to give someone that little amount of French fries. I'm never going back and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I also ordered another tray with hush puppies and it was hardly any in the tray. The quesadillas might have had 4 strands of chicken equivalent to strands of hair. After visiting this last weekend the person in the drive thru was the most pleasant and patient person I have encountered ever and nose definitely for this chain and location. The other cookout I've been to had a dine-in so we never thought they wouldn't have seating. We really needed a place to sit so we left. Between getting other people's food or missing items we haven't haven't had good luck with drive throughs in the area so I didn't want to take the chance. After reading the reviews I am glad we left.
