I came here after reading many…read morepositive reviews and then checking out their menu and I knew they were a fun and interesting place for lunch. I chose the Becca Burger, without mushrooms and their Steak Diablo Fries. They make everything fresh, to order with fresh ingredients. The burger was clearly freshly hand-packed, the jalapeños were freshly sliced, not pickled. Since they make it all fresh, you might wait a few minutes longer than the typical burger joint, but that's fine considering the amazing eats you're about to enjoy. My burger came out looking beautiful and it was definitely sitting tall! The flavor was excellent! Meat was great too!! I definitely liked having their chipotle mayo on it!! Those steak Diablo fries were incredibly tasty, with a nice kick, but sooo much more flavor than heat! The fries themselves were great, perfectly crispy and tasty, but adding all those toppings truly made it special! Service was nice... I had a few questions and she was helpful with the answers. Lastly, they have birch beer here, which I loved! Highly recommend stopping in for a great burger and fries experience!!

Unfortunately, today's experience was completely different. There were only two people waiting for food when we arrived, and after ordering, we waited over an hour without receiving our food. We finally had to inquire about our order, and a few minutes later it was ready. Sadly, the food wasn't nearly as good as it was during our last visit. Between the long wait and the disappointing food, we all ended up eating about half of our meals and tossing the rest. It's disappointing because we had such a great experience here just a few months ago. Based on today's experience, we would not recommend this place. Hopefully this was just an off day, but unfortunately, it was not the experience we had hoped for.

Good little wing spot in a busy strip mall off Hampton Blvd. Parking is tight…read more I want to give 4 stars because the sauce selection and quality is 6 star worthy as are the fries and service! 4 stars is because the wings have been consistently a bit dry and small. Now I am not one who likes my chicken wings to be like a leg and thigh piece from KFC but I do like them to be juicy. I'll keep coming back though, perhaps it's the supply chain issues ? Ok...that being said... These folks started this restaurant DURING the pandemic height last year. I was hopeful they would last because aside from Dodge's gas station there isn't much of a selection of chicken on Hampton Blvd. They DID make it and are now open for dine in and take out. Super friendly staff and the food comes out hot and fresh. Like I said the flavor selection is on point? All the flavors we've tried are excellent! We've ordered to go several times and dined in once now. Keep it up JR Crickets!!

I got a tea from the fountain as a drink. I ordered the steak and cheese with three plain ribs. It took forty minutes to get the food. I had to interrupt the server to get a refill. I got my food and had to ask for mayo then I had to ask for a knife. Again, I had to interrupt her for another refill which was filled 3/4 (important to know). So service not that great. Food: steak and cheese if forgettable. The ribs were great. I interrupted the server again to get my check. I realized that I was charged for three drink at $2+ each. Wow ... I haven't been charged for a fountain drink in forever but it was never told to me there was a charge when she did refill. Three stars for the ribs but it I wouldn't go out of my way to return. Which is sad because I love a good rib place. I would be embarrassed on a date night with my wife.

By far the rudest staff I've encountered at any military installation…read more While checking out today, the cashier jumped at the opportunity to scold and embarrass me. As I was showing her my ID, my thumb was slightly covering the barcode. Instead of politely asking me to move my thumb, she yelled, "YOU'RE BLOCKING IT." After I repositioned my hand, she followed it up with, "TURN IT AROUND. THANKS FOR THE 3D LOOK, SHEESH!" It was bizarre and completely unnecessary. Just a few days earlier, I was using self-checkout when the scanner wouldn't read my ID. Rather than waste everyone's time fighting with the machine, I quietly backed out and decided to use the express checkout instead. The self-checkout attendant immediately started yelling, "SIR, WAIT! SIR!" as I walked away. As far as I know, I'm free to change my mind about where I check out, so I simply kept walking. Two negative experiences in the span of three days tells me this isn't just one employee having a bad day. It left me with the impression that poor customer service is accepted at this location. We come here as paying customers and deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I hope management takes a closer look at how employees interact with patrons and raises the standard for customer service.
