I am having a very difficult time trying to understand why a flagship WAWA 8082 cannot provide for an adequate coffee service. Coffee not ready and the prep area always filthy. Who is the manager? We stopped by at 4:30am to have a cup of our favorite coffee. 100% Colombian coffee. The store was so quiet, we were not used to the stillness. Normally, there's a hustle and bustle about this particular location, however, 4:30 on a Sunday morning, we were met with quiet. The sore was clean and the coffee was hot, just the way we like it., Gas prices are up today $3.37 a gallon for regular and $3.99 diesel per gallon! Delaware gas prices were $3.09 yesterday! Anyway, yes Wawa has handicapped parking and accessible bathrooms! They accept Apple Pay and have self checkouts. They have lottery and ATM machines managed by PNC. They have card less machines if you forget your debit card, you go onto your PNC mobile app and they will generate a code for you, the code is good for approximately 15 minutes. You can use the Dialpad to input the code and you will have access to your accounts, it's that easy! The one thing I don't understand is it looks like the machines have the ability to accept Apple Pay, but it has never worked for me! LG read more

What happened to this location? I've noticed that the few best employees they had relocated to the super Wawa by the Starbucks and I'm sure that's by no coincidence. Most, not all, of the employees here are severely lacking in customer service and social skills. I'll be giving my money to the better store from now on. read more

I love Wawa. Beats the pants out of 7-11 and it has made-to-order breakfasts, rapid (not fast) food, innumerable types of coffees, and plenty of veggie snacks for the health conscious. This Wawa, located in the middle of downtown Media, is always busy with transient workers, school kids, housewives and everyday people looking for a bite to eat and convenience items. Store employees are always nice and eager to get you out of the store satisfied and quickly. This particular Wawa, however, has no gasoline. And as well, and chief reason why it doesn't rate four stars, is the fact that Wawa has made the express decision that they won't stock milk substitutes. For God's sake, almost 60% of the population is now lactose intolerant! Get with it, Wawa! read more

As others have already mentioned, this Wawa is a bit outdated (no gas station for example) and the parking lot has the potential to be a death trap. There is parking around the perimeter of the lot and then 6-8 random spaces smack dab in the middle. I parked in one of said spots and it took over 10 minutes to be able to back out and leave! That being said, the service was very quick, but I probably wouldn't willing choose this location based on difficulty to get in and out of the lot during peak hours. read more

Went to get coffee, 5 of the canisters were empty. I feel like they are going down hill. The staff is always friendly but i stopped going to this one as much. Got to work, 2 minutes away, and my coffee was frozen. Also another employee was reprimanding another employee in the middle of the store. read more

Staff was friendly enough but I was the only one there & had 2 small items missing from my order, one of which is essential to the meal. Ordered a quesadilla WITH a $.25 sour cream. It's just a quarter, I get it but STILL I opted in to the additional charge for the condiment because I won't eat the quesadilla without the topping. & unfortunately I'm not in the position to go back as this was a quick stop for dinner after working, picking my daughter up & heading home to put her to bed. I fully understand that it's on me that I won't eat a quesadilla without sour cream & that I don't have sour cream in my fridge AND that I didn't check my bag before I left. Unfortunately this isn't the first time (more like 4th or 5th) that my dinner has gone in the trash because the full order wasn't there. My long winded point is, if the customer is paying extra for it, make sure it's included in the damn bag. read more

As far as Wawas go, coming to this store is never a bad experience. The staff are, for the most part, very friendly, helpful, and professional. Prices are a little high but, they have decent sales on favorite items, accept manufacturer coupons, and are usually very well stocked. The store is always clean and, they allow customers to use their restroom. The management does a very good job. Cheesesteaks are often very soggy when opened at home with watery liquid, flavorless lettuce and cucumbers, grossly steak and I feel like just giving up that they will ever be of quality. The bread, if not soggy is rubbery when reheated and difficult to cut with a steak knife much less chew. Meatballs are OK but, not on that awful bread. Cold sandwiches are very good but, again, the produce is mostly flavorless, as if it were soaking in water for days. Yogurt prices are insane! Prepared salads are really good with flavor and generous portions, reasonably priced. Tastykakes, I'll only get on sale. The donuts arrive fresh and are good for a buck each. Why aren't hot dogs available late night? And 59¢ for a banana?! Love the milkshakes. Wawa Ice Cream should stay in sale at 2 for $5. Great!! There is usually a line here but, efficient and hard-working cashiers move things along nicely, are neighborly, and well trained. read more

Small and cramped old style Wawa with a crazy busy parking lot across from the Media post office. My guess is that it will shut down once they open the new SuperWawa with gas a few blocks to the east. Service was fine but I'm sure there are plenty of fender benders in this lot. read more

Employees are unnecessarily rude. I had placed my order at the kiosk, paid at the register, and waited over 15 minutes to get the order. They finally called my number, went up to grab my food and was told I needed to pay first. I politely explained that I paid already. The employee screamed across the room to ask the cashier if I paid, she said yes and that I was fine. I didn't even want the food at this point. stopped in for coffee & newspapers. this is a judicious choice because Media being the County Seat, and the Courthouse being about 1500 feet away, this WAWA is the go to place for lawyers paralegals & court personnel all day long--though be advised, Media is an 8-5 kinda town. in the evenings, the restaurants take over--no one works late. the coffee here is great. it's not a super WAWA but there is a ton of parking, and it's bigger than average. read more

Items are high priced, Hoagies are not that good at all. Parking at this place is a nightmare, do yourself a favor and park on the side street and walk down, and while you are walking go to Vinnies for the hoagies instead of Wawa. read more
