It was crispy. Flavorful, and rich. instead of milk, they use half-and-half, and they have a special proprietary waffle mix, that is made for waffle House, and waffle House only. I could definitely taste the quality of the waffle. The "firework candy", on top was fun, and the sweetness did not overtake the waffle. they played very well with each other. There was also a small dollop of whipped cream on the top Their coffee is great, and my eggs were absolutely perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable, and they also offer a military/veterans discount. I wish they were in California. The fact that they are not makes it such a treat.
