Why even advertise them? -I would have rather lit 75 dollars on fire than donate it to this heap. -Luckily you have the option to pay by scanning the QR code, or I likely would still be sitting there an hour later waiting for my check. They've always been a humble place who never thought of themselves as "above the people" which is why when we had that flood in 2021, the community rallied around them so fiercely. Back to food. Several sauces for the pork, available to get as much or little as you need. The Mac and cheese is good, like, "bring me back a plate at the cookout" good. And lastly the greens are superb. This particular day it was in the afternoon so I also got a Cheesesteak melt sandwich. Both were great. I ate half of each and I was good to go. I went simple with a breakfast sandwich with a fluffy scrambled egg, thick-cut pork roll, and Cooper sharp on the lightest, airiest Kaiser roll I've ever had. And do no sleep on their thick cut bacon, which is meaty and delicious and coated in a buttery mapley goodness that tasted like Heaven. Things to note: they only take cash, and on the weekends, there's an hour limit (meaning you can't dawdle) so they don't have lines piling up outside. Breakfast for five of us was just under $80, so reasonably priced. We had a great time. And the next time we go, it'll be because it's just a great spot.
