Miracle at Wawa's Ardmore location! On Thursday, June 11, 2026. I was headed on a mission to get my 84 year-old mother a lovely cup of hazelnut coffee, her favorite. Excitement filled the air. I laid my phone down on the counter to add the cream & sugar & walked away from my phone. I went to pay for the bill, it was gone, so was my hope. Immediately I headed to T-Mobile ordered a replacement which cost more than my auto repairs yet they were kind and empathetic. A miracle occurred on Friday, June 12th. My wonderful nephew Joshua Walker located my phone on the App. He approached the gracious manager at Wawa searched and found it even after I had called four times and checked with the cashier the day before. This proves that miracles do occur and there are angels in our midst. Wawa's coffee, delicious delicacies and Awesome Workers create an atmosphere of Familyship! Thank Wawa and their staff for going the extra mile to return my phone. May you all continue to reap kind rewards for your deeds. This is my favorite Wawa, I have a biased because it's the Wawa from my youth. I grew up right down the street. The service is always top tier, I've seen many new faces over the years and some original faces from when I was a kid. Needless to say, I miss the 90s Wawa, slicers & morning bread delivery. Choose your roll and hand it over to the person making sandwiches in the deli. Walking up & ordering lunch meat & cheese for the week for school lunches! Grabbing pickles from the barrel! Even though those things have faded due to demand, this will always be my fav Wawa. The workers are excellent, the conveniences are great, and the coffee is always hot...or iced! read more

The Ardmore Wawa was one of the most popular in the area, but as a result it was in bad shape. After they finally remodeled it, I expected it to be great, but I was disappointed. First, like the old Wawa this location's parking situation is a mess. In the past I have nearly gotten hit. In the past, this Wawa had a "Welcome to Ardmore" mural. However, it is now gone. You can see part of it on the side of the build still. I was really disappointed to see it go. Inside, it is like all the new Wawas. High-tech screens, new order touch screens and clean doors and windows. I would say on average this location is a bit larger than most Wawas. The extra space also for this location to have bathrooms. In the past these bathrooms lacked cleanliness, so I hope the renovations addressed this. I like how they have expanded their variety of grab and go items. My main problem with this Wawa was during checkout. Since I frequently go to Wawa, I use their app for rewards and it allows me to put money onto my account. However, my balance read $20, but the cashier said that I only had 93 cents on my account. I am not mad so much about the app, but the tone of voice the cashier talked to me in. Another Wawa. And not even a super Wawa with gas, just your basic Wawa in a strip mall. People around here love Wawa but it's really another version of Walmart, coming in and forcing local business out of business. This one's been here as long as I can remember. The parking lot is slightly better than the one in Bryn Mawr, but not much. I generally avoid Wawa unless I need gas or the ATM, however I found myself here twice recently after leaving the ardmore music hall. The first time school was still in session and there were 15-20 college kids ordering food at midnight. Still only took about 15 minutes to get my sandwich, an Italian hoagie, which hit the spot. Not many options at that time of night around here. The music hall kitchen closes early, and Bella Italia soon after. Ardmore pizza is sometimes open but it depends when the show gets out. I hit the Wawa a second time last night. School was on break so it was easy in and out, my sandwich was ready almost as soon as I paid for it. Got the meatball sub this time and it was better than the hoagie. I may try the mobile app when schools back in session to save some time, but it was fast and easy over Christmas break. read more

This place is alright. The biggest headache is that the parking lot is a nightmare. Cars wizzing in and out, people coming into the store from all angles, it is as close to a real life frogger game as you can get without actually crossing I-95. Typically Wawa's are consistent. With the just-completed make-over, this store joins he ranks of many others that have been updated. You'll get the same selection of items at the same level of convenience you are used to. I typically run in for coffee, ATM, snacks, and glance at the newspaper headlines. I rarely get any of the made to order items anymore but on the last two occasions I did (February and July of 2017) I ordered a meatball Shorti. One time the sandwich was disgustingly sloppy (somehow a meatball didn't make it into the roll and was in the paper wrapping!) and another they left off the hot peppers. Not going to make or break my day but I expect better from Wawa. All in all, solid location, typically clean, and generally nice workers. read more

Yay for Wawa. Boo for the parking lot. I always try to park by the hair cuttery if possible. Even then, people still get crazy. Also, sometimes the lottery machine doesn't like me. I just assume that means I am not meant to win millions, but still, I want to pretend I have a chance. One of the best Wawas in the area! The staff is very friendly. Also, they are open 24 hours which is nice. Everything i've ordered from the deli has always been great. Great Wawa, terrible parking lot. I'll be the first to admit I got lost trying to locate this Wawa, tucked on the hidden Woodside Road between Lancaster and Montgomery. After finally locating and turning in, I was greeted by the shockingly crowded and poorly designed parking lot, which features parking in front of the store and, strangely, parallel parking running perpendicular to those other spots. It's all very confusing, and odds are you'll almost be hit by several cars coming and going. But if you can navigate the parking lot, this Wawa is pretty above average in terms of selection and service. I never had any problem with checking out, and they make the Wawa hoagies lightning quick. read more

Ardmore is my hometown, and I really wish I was more proud of it's Wawa. I go here quite a bit, because you can't really go wrong with Wawa in general - that being said, I've had countless mistakes made with my sandwiches. I've gotten sandwiches that haven't been sliced in half, as well as items missed...and even added to my order. I can sometimes understand missing something that's on the order, but how do you ADD tomatoes to a hoagie? That's a bit ridiculous. As others have said, that parking lot is quite a trip. You can't really expect much better going to an establishment in the heart of Ardmore though. It's a hectic area in general. read more

The current manager on duty is not professional and has zero customer service. I ordered a sandwich which was made incorrectly a few days ago. I called and complained and was told that the next time I came in they would just make my sandwich again. The manager on duty at 4:30pm on Dec 7, 2018 refused to honor the promise I was given. For as much money I spend at this wawa location. I think it's pretty ridiculous that I couldn't get a sandwich remade for the cost of $5, that wawa should have been responsible to redeem or pay for. Terrible customer service. One younger blonde kid once openly spoke about how high he was (which explained a lot of previous visits). I have also checked out without the cashier saying one word to me...maybe she was high as well and lost the ability to acknowledge other humans. Today was probably the last time I will attempt purchase food there. I had a not so lovely interaction with the woman making drinks. She was beyond rude since I didn't put my slip in her basket. She shook her little basket at me and yelled "slip!". I told her that I had ordered food as well so I was going to put the slip in their basket. She then mumbled something and when I asked what it was she yelled back "have a nice day!". As for their food...my order tends to be right 3/5 times. They constantly forget to put the sauces I ordered on my hoagies or breakfast burrito. I am a visually handicapped woman, and a customer at Wawa. I had a nightmare of an experience due to an elderly, obese man named Joe, who said he was manager. Not only did he fail to offer disability assistance, worse, apparently because of my dark glasses, he thought I looked "shady" and seemed to think I was shoplifting. In front of all the other customers, at the register, he forced me to remove what I had in my pockes and show him. They were my own 2 tampons, individually wrapped, which Wawa doesn't sell. They weren't from Wawa at all. Joe refused to indentify himself even after I asked several times. Most disturbing was that he seemed highly immature. Joe was smirking the whole time, as if he enjoyed the power-trip of being able to force customers to obey his commands. How pathetic. I was utterly humiliated, told him I would report his actions in an internet review. He flipantly said, "Go right ahead." He had an overblown sense of entitlement to degrade the customers. Clearly, Joe has no respect for WaWa's coroprate image, as if he thinks he's WaWa CEO. Pehaps WaWa corporation is to blame for not training their managers. read more

The parking lot is a little scary. Its so chaotic and getting out can be a nightmare. But otherwise, this Wawa is just like any other Wawa... AMAZING! Whenever I go up north or down south I miss Wawa so much. The meatball subs, the mashed potatoes and gravy, their soups, the donuts, the green tea, and chocolate milk are my favorites. I found hairs in my soup (yes that's plural) I could go on a long rant about how absolutely disgusting this was, but instead I'll just say this: If they're managing to leave hairs in pre-made soup, where all they do is pour it in a cup and heat it up...
