I ordered the special Thai shake honoring the new Season 3 of White Lotus, a well done show that I dislike for its lack of a good quality story but the settings and eye candy are excellent, lol. I also won the TooGoodToGo . On PLNT's IG, they advertised that the special Thai shake would be released on Sunday (February 16). Thank God I didn't make the drive because it was not available to choose from on the app on the day of release. I put a public message on PLNT's IG asking them about this and I left a VM at this local establishment. I did not receive a response from either the rest of the day from about 1130 AM until me writing this review at least. I saw the Thai shake on the app the next day and finally ordered it ahead of time. I kind of wish I ordered 2 because I loved it so much- the flavor and creaminess but that it was surprisingly still vegan. They do a great job with their fish similarly as well and if they still use Mind Blown, I am a big fan of their frozen vegan crab cakes and so are some friends who love seafood in the Outer Banks: I was unable to pick up my TooGoodToGo because the staff said they don't do this anymore: It was frustrating because you have to take the time to win the bid and then I have to make the drive which isn't right there for me. Thank goodness in this case, I was planning to go here regardless. The staff here was friendly despite the hiccups I encountered. All the trouble I had during this food experience reminded me of negative social experiences- particularly the assumption that social coddling is okay. While they aren't the same at all, the hiccups felt comparatively the same. I decided to include this part because it is relevant to the main reason I write reviews- because I enjoy quietly showing off the food I like, earning free access to exclusive events in this manner and as an emotional release for myself. I won't go into detail unless you ask privately because most people reading this don't want the specifics. The irony, is that, I could say the same for the review community I am in now to a degree but the opportunity to experience exclusive events is not something I want to jeopardize for myself if I can help it either. I am thankful for these continued opportunities that I would have never imagined I could ever be a part of. If you can't be truly nice and respectful, just leave people alone because otherwise any aggravation you have to deal with is all on you. read more

PLNT Burger has seriously gone downhill since opening. My last two orders both had issues. I ordered the "mushroom bacon" burger and the mushrooms were black and moldy/musty smelling. Then on my next order, the chili dog was all cheese with almost no chili (and somehow a single musty mushroom ended up on it too ugh). The hot dog itself was like uncooked. Bleh. Oh and the sweet potato fries were undercooked and cold. I won't be returning, even though they are a 5 minute walk from my apartment. It's a real shame that HipCityVeg shut their doors because now there isn't any good place in the area for vegan fast food. read more

Is the Wynnewood location the only Plnt Burger location where the soft serve/ice cream milkshake maker has been down for weeks? Plnt burger has soft serve and milkshake offerings. For several weeks I have been going to the Wynnewood Plnt Burger for a great nondairy cold treat. It is not happening. I am missing out. Everytime I stop by I am told the machine is down. The part is coming soon. Hoping soon is before the summer ends. Looks like I wont get to taste Blueberry Bombshell milkshake displayed in the store. I enjoy their nondairy offerings. This location is a mess. I ordered pickup online, when I got there the workers told me they couldn't complete my order because they were out of shake mix. Then tried to give me the rest of my order, except it was missing the sweet potato fries and the burger - they had put a bunch of mushrooms on the bun, no burger patty, and included pickles which I had requested be left off. They proceed to tell me they couldn't give me a refund, and that they would have the manager call me later for the refund. Just a terrible experience overall. I ordered Plnt Burger from DoorDash. I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes fast food that's vegan makes me feel gross after so I try and avoid it. Not the case here. My first order was Chik N Fun Guy(oyster mushroom), crispy herb fries, and Beyond Classic Sausage. 2nd visit was the Save the Bay filet sandwich, soft serve(oat milk), and crispy herb fries. Chik N Fun Guy, Crispy Herb Fries, Beyond Classic Sausage with all the toppings(carmelized onions, sauerkraut, and mustard) and a chocolate milkshake. Mushroom Bacon Burger with carmelized onions, mushroom bacon, FYH Cheddar, BBQ sauce, crispy onion petals! Highlights for plant-based food, the entrees are filling with the right proportions, fries are crispy, nicely seasoned, and not saturated in oil. Save the Bay filet is a great plant-based version of a fish filet with a flavorful tartar sauce. The soft-serve is made with oat milk finally a place that offers a frozen dessert with no soy. Milkshake made with soft serve was thick and creamy but non-dairy. Now one of our favorite local.places. I cannot wait to try the burgers which are Beyond Burgers, no gluten or soy. Inside: looked like a separate take out counter with a bar on the other side of the space. They were separate businesses. Unsure if you could eat inside. Food: here's the thing. I had mixed feelings. Plant burger. I enjoyed it. Steakhouse burger--YUM! Chilly cheese fries, chili was on sweeter side. Fries were crispy, which I liked. Cheese was more liquidy and not really cheesy. I see why they didn't have just cheese fries on the menu. S'more milkshake - didn't taste like a s'more. More like a choc shake. Disappointed. Blood Orange drink. Soda of sorts not really a juice. Overall, underwhelming. I didn't like the chili cheese fries. I hated that the shake didn't taste like it was supposed to. I didn't love that orange drink. I liked both burgers, especially because it wasn't beyond meat patties. I spent about $36 for carry out. If you're gonna be overpriced, it ought to be good. I gave PLNT Burger another try and got the chicken 'funguy' sandwich with fries. The fries were good, and everything on the sandwich was fine, but I literally couldn't eat the breaded mushroom. I'm not exaggerating - I actually couldn't bite through it. I guess they might have cooked it previously and heated it up - in any case it was like an actual piece of rubber. (Pics included) The service here is really great, and I know the staff works for incentives, so I'm really sad things didn't work out again. First time trying PLNT burger - I ordered the Grilled Chik'N Sandwich with a side of the Spicy Aioli, and the Mint Cookies N' Cream OATasty Shake. The Chik'N burger was even better than expected, it tasted like real chicken and had a great texture. The Spicy Aioli was delicious as well, however not very spicy. The Mint Cookies N' Cream Shake had a strong oat milk flavor that I could not shake off, and I couldn't taste the mint flavoring at all. After returning to plant burger after a previous review I was able to meet the manager Roman who was extremely pleasant ! Which honestly I'm not surprised because the entire staff was pleasant the last time I went. I think a lot of places could learn a thing or two about customer service from them. He was able to address the concerns from my previous review about the ice cream that tasted a bit like metal. I tried a sample of both the vanilla and chocolate vegan soft serve and it was much better this time! My favorite is the chocolate flavored. The consistency is good just like milk based soft serve, you can barely tell the difference. Also during this visit I was able to try to Plant based "cheese"burger and OMG it was incredible the size of the burger was thinner which I actually prefer because sometimes with plant based burgers the thicker ones become overwhelming. The bun and lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone not just those who are plant based. I will also say it was extremely filling!! I suggest when you're considering your post (or pre!) shopping meal to give PLNT BURGER a try. I will definitely be back for for that burger again and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu! read more

My wife and I ate at PLNT Burger for the first time recently. We were very excited to try the food, as it has stellar reviews on both Google and Yelp. My wife is a vegetarian so she was very excited to try a place with lots of options. My wife ordered the Fiesta Burger. She said her veggie burger lacked flavor and did not taste very good. It also did not come with all of the advertised toppings. She enjoyed the sweet potato fries. She also wanted to try a chili. However, the main issue was that after leaving and coming home, she was up during the night sick and it continued throughout the morning. I did not try anything she ordered but from my experience I didn't get sick and I thought my items were decent enough (although now I look back on it negatively). Overall, It was a very disappointing experience, especially since we paid nearly $60 for our dining experience and my wife got sick from it. My wife joked that she would have rather paid $7 for frozen veggie Patties and skipped the food poisoning. The only highlight of our experience was interacting with your employee working at the time. He was extremely friendly and even brought us our food when it was ready. read more

Just tried PLNT today with my son and we were blown away by how fresh and juicy the entire sandwich was. We both had The Big Burger. The lettuce and tomato were firm and crisp and the bun was soft. You definitely could not tell that the burger was plant based. We highly recommend taking the whole family. There is something on the menu for everyone. read more

As someone who eats meat, this was my fave vegan fast food spot to order from (multiple times a month). However a lot of menu items have changed. I understand that it's still a fairly new operation and they're testing things out. But if you're getting rave reviews, why not keep some of those items and just add on to the menu rather than take them off completely? Biggest change they made which was disappointing is their fries. Soggy and limp regular fries. They used to have the "scoops" - crispy ridged potato wedges -which set them apart from any other fast food spot, imo. They got rid of the sweet chili sauce and replaced it with garlic aioli which is very sour and somewhat flavorless. And finally, this is moreso wishful thinking, but it'd be great if they could bring some of the burgers that were temporary items back permanently under a different name (ie. Dawesome Burger). I really loved this place, but now I'm gonna look elsewhere or just make vegan burgers instead. read more

Service not good. Guy put in our order as we didn't know how. We sat at a table about 15 feet from the pickup area. He asked for name, which we gave. Said nothing about notification but he used his own phone to place the order. We sat and finally after a long time went up to ask and was told the order was sitting at the pickup area. We did not hear name called, and would have because it was very quiet. Who knows how long the bag had been sitting there. The metal backsplash was filthy and one of our drinks was missing. Seems poor cleanliness and not good organization. The fries were bits and pieces covered with so much salt, could not eat them. Not a good first-time experience.
