My significant other and I stopped by this restaurant for the first time and we will DEFINITELY be back. Due to this being our first time we had no clue on what to order. The team, specifically Layla, Reek, and Jin were a great help. They helped from start to finish and we were pleased with the results! It was so good. I was a little skeptical about the meat and rice servings (they were little like Chipotle) but Layla reassured me it would all blend with the recommended sides. Their juices were also good. Stopped by this Cava location for the first time as the one in center city is always hectic. I popped in around 8pm on a Monday night--Very low traffic, I was the only one in the store at the time. The food was tasty, however, I do think they should prepare the falafel fresh as they're always at room temperature when I get them at any location. The line was a bit unappealing; just needed a good clean and wipe down but I'll give them some grace and say that they were coming to a close anyway so maybe that's why. All in all, customer service by the staff at this location was surprisingly really nice and I look forward to coming here again. read more

Cava is a Mediterranean inspired, fast and casual restaurant located at Suburban Square in Ardmore PA. I ordered the Tehini Caesar bowl with falafel, hummus, harissa, crazy feta, grilled corn, spicy broccoli, tomatoes, pita chips, and vegetables. All the fixins' were just perfect! The portions are large, lasting for at least 1-2 meals. The line moves quickly or order ahead online. Cava is worth the try! read more

Not at all what I was expecting... It was still good... but it was a twist on Mediterranean food, not just straight Mediterranean. I was blown away by the fact that you get a little table spoon scoop of hummus and they act like that is normal. The hummus was delicious (I got the roasted red pepper), but for an entire bowl to only have one tiny scoop seemed like a joke. They were out of avocados the day I was there so I had to change up my order. The grilled chicken was tasty with brown rice & feta. You can add other toppings to your bowl as well which is nice to be able to customize. The drink options are from Maine root soda company which is a favorite for me! Overall, the meal was solid, a bit overpriced for the quantity and quality of the food. Not what I was expecting walking into the place but still decent. I have to say this chain is pretty great!!! I've only been to a Cava once (the grand opening of their Glen Mills location) so I was excited to finally enjoy their food again. I loved the Harissa chicken bowl so much the first time that I got it again and probably will again next time. It's just that good - full of various fresh ingredients and flavors. I also love their spicy pita chips - they are so good and a great accompaniment to the bowl. This location is in a very busy area so it had lots of customers but the staff was very efficient and got everything right. Kudos to them. I can't wait to go again! read more

Great place for some fast-casual Mediterranean food! We'd tried this chain the first time in NJ, and around that time learned that there's one much closer to home. One evening we stopped by to pick up some bowls for dinner, and we were glad we did! I had tried and loved the braised lamb before, but tried the lamb meatball this time. I liked both, but hard to touch the braised lamb. We did curbside pickup, which worked beautifully, though I hear they may have stopped doing it at certain locations now. They're opening a location even closer to home next week, so I may not be back at this location too much more, but if you enjoy Mediterranean food with real, fresh ingredients, don't miss this! read more

I came on Monday, October 12 at around 6:30 PM. There was a young woman working at the counter (black and orange nails) that provided some of the best customer service I've ever seen at a quick service restaurant. She had such a great attitude and was so ready to help (offering watering us water before we even asked, explaining ingredients, etc) and it honestly made our dining experience much more pleasant. I always love CAVA for their amazing and fresh food, but customer service is always awesome too!!! read more

Visited CAVA the other day looking for a light, healthy lunch. It smelled heavenly. I decided on a falafel pita (the standard) and my daughter got a bowl. It took an inordinately long time to get our orders and I had to wonder what it would be like if they actually had customers since there were only two others waiting for food. Got home to find that the sandwich had already leaked through the paper. Pita bread was the gummiest pita I've ever had, the "crispy" falafel was, likewise, mush. I took one bite and wanted to throw it out. My daughter agreed. Her bowl was also mediocre, altho she ate it. My sandwich was tossed out. I think I'm pretty much thru with chains. read more

I don't recommend ordering delivery from this restaurant. I received the wrong protein (confirmed with the manager the lamb meatballs and sweet potatoes I had paid extra for were available), and the staff did not offer to remake the order, leaving me with a meal I spent a lot on and cannot eat. In past experiences I've received missing or incorrect toppings which I was willing to forgo, but to provide the wrong proteins (over $6 in extra costs) and not attempt any resolution was inexcusable. I love Cava and their food. Pick your base, protein, and toppings in the form of a pita or bowl. I almost always order the bowl because it comes with a side pita.... Or it is supposed to. For some reason, this location almost always forgets to give us the side pita, and for that, they get 3 stars. It might sound petty, but the side pita costs ~$2 if you were to order it, and considering they forgot to include the pitas for a total of about 9 bowls at this point, I think the consistent and regular missing item that sums up to a loss of about $18 worth of food justifies the star reduction. Also doesn't help them when the other locations don't seem to have the same issue. read more
