I have been looking for something different for some time now because I am tired of the fads and basic gyms. I want to workout, but I want to take care of my body as well. Luckily I ran across a unique and very different gym called House of Attilius. They have three different programs you can choose from. I went and took the Fury and Ice class which was a combination of Muay Thai and Qigong movement. It was fun, challenging, and exciting as I have never experienced anything like it. As a coach, Erick was very patient and knowledgeable. Any questions I had, he was there to answer them. You can tell that he is very passionate about what he does, and doesn't just talk; he walks the walk. Finding a fun and challenging gym is already tricky; on top of having an owner who cares about their clients is rare. I can't wait to take another class

A new friend just introduced me to Sukyo Mahikari, so, today, we went to the Center for Spiritual…read moreDevelopment located in Phoenix to receive True Light energy (ie, Mahikari). I arrived to the dojo with the belief that it was about 50% possible for "something" to happen; for this to be real. Once inside the building, we removed our shoes and put on socks. Then we signed in and headed back to the dojo with our guides. Each person has a guide and each visit is always free of charge. The whole process takes about an hour. (Reference online YouTube videos if you'd like.) My guide walked me through a short, Asian-style opening ceremony. During the 1st part of the session, my guide began by passionately praying aloud in Japanese and then I began to receive the invisible light energy from my guide who was channeling the invisible divine force through his body from a wall hanging at an altar. (Please research online Light Energy and Universal Principles at the website.) My guide sent energy to the area near my Pineal Gland, or 3rd Eye,- where Mahikari practitioners believe the human soul is located- by simply placing his hand near my forehead. I swear, I felt heat on my forehead. During the 2nd part, I faced away from him, and he sent light energy to the back of my head, neck, and shoulders. I could feel my muscles and knots relaxing, releasing tension. For the 3rd part of the session, I had to lay on the floor and, as I stood up from the chair in order to do so, the back of my neck popped a bit b/c the muscles had relaxed so much that my spine relaxed, too. (Mind you, this occurred with no physical touch or massage.) During this last part of the session, my guide sent light energy to my kidneys and I would have fallen asleep had it not been for people talking, which is allowed during the sessions. Again, my guide walked me through the simple Asian-style closing ceremony with bowing and clapping. I left in a brighter, lighter state and with more energy. Immediately after this scheduled appointment, I went to my usual hippie-dippy metaphysical shop and paid for an Aura Cleansing. The guide at that establishment said I sounded more balanced after using Tibetan Singing Bowls on my Solar Plexus chakra. That's wild b/c, prior to Mahikari, it was 1/2-blocked. Mahikari is free and operates on monetary donations, which is another form of energy. I will be going back to this Sukyo Mahikari Centers for Spiritual Development-Phoenix weekly in order to raise my vibrational frequency. I'll update this review with new insights as possible. Their lobby has information about their belief in Sukyo (Ie, Universal Principles) and Mahikari. UPDATE: 2/8/16: I felt heat on my forehead again & the Light sent to my neck really helped me relax. I fell asleep on the floor & immediately started dreaming. I arrived in pain & left in a positive state. I can't wait to get back to Mahikari! UPDATE: 3/14/2016: After the monthly gratitude ceremony & receiving divine light, I got another aura photo and it is...drum roll, please...bright green all over! My aura is changing and I believe it is due in large part to Mahikari. Green = healing energy. Update: I now regularly visit the dojo & the monthly gratitude ceremony.
