I checked reviews prior to contacting Watts for a serious ant problem at our home. I was pleased to see the high ratings. After having our home serviced, I can see why they have the ratings they do. I contacted 2 other businesses and got quotes in the hundreds and one stating that it would need 3 treatments. I'm not a certified pest person but I do know that if you find the colony, and get the queen - you pretty much will resolve the issue. Marc Watts personally confirmed this as well and let me know that one treatment should take care of the problem. If it didn't at any time within the next month - he will come out at no charge and treat until it is resolved. That, and the pricing, impressed me. I got an appointment for Saturday (which some wouldn't do). Unfortunately, due to an issue beyond our control, we were not able to get back to our home in time for the appointment. Jahmaine (our technician) said that he would be willing to come out on Sunday morning if that would be convenient so we wouldn't have to wait longer for resolution. That REALLY impressed me. He hit a home run when he arrived (on time and ready). He found the colony even though it was hid underneath a small stub wall. He did the treatment and we have had no issues since. Not only did he take care of that issue but also noted 3 small exploratory tubes for subterranean termites. He also recommended a way to take care of them that cost us nothing. I came across Watts Pest Prevention while searching for services to get rid of a pigeon problem. After obtaining 3 estimates from 3 different sources, I started looking up reviews of the companies online and decided to go with Watts Pest Prevention. They came in at nearly half the cost of at least one estimate and since cost is not everything, the reviews online helped me to determine the quality of service and number of satisfied customers. Across the board, they appeared to provide the best "bang for the buck." As a consequence, I hired them. Let me just say that they came through even better then expected! We had been looking to finally deal with our pigeon problem, we have solar panels and dozens of birds made their home underneath and were causing havoc. We originally called Southwest Avian Solutions, however the guy said he couldn't do it because one section of our roof had an angle he didn't like. We called Watts pest after that and got Jahmaine as our pest control guy. He was awesome!!! The quote was very reasonable for what we needed done, which was quite a bit of clean up, mesh, and spikes. It took Jahmaine a good portion of the day because we had so much that needed cleaned up, however, we could not have been more happy with his work. He was also very knowledgeable in dealing with the birds and what we could expect from them as they would attempt to continue to get back in for awhile before they would give up. Watts pest prevention rocks! I had a 7 month problem with ticks. I had 2 other pest control companies spray inside and out, multiple tick baths and treatments for my dog, tick collars, drops, etc to no avail. The ticks were winning...Watts came, sprayed inside and out and listened to what had been done in the past. I must have had an extreme case of infestation...I thought the ticks were going to win. Watts has a guarantee, and I did have to have them come out 2 more times. They honored their guarantee cheerfully and with a willingness to take care of the problem. I had a terrible experience with another company. I called Watts Pest Prevention because I saw that they had good reviews on Yelp. I actually hung up right after it rang because I thought I'd better look around some more before I commit to something again. They pulled my number from caller ID and reached out to me within 2 minutes. The representative apologized and said she was on the phone and couldn't get to my call in time. It was sweet that she tried to take the blame for the missed call even though it was me who hung up. Speaking with Watts was night and day compared to the other company. They were extremely professional on the phone and explained the entire process and exactly what they would be doing. They were kind, courteous and very helpful. I want to thank you for your wonderful service. Jahmaine came out to handle my gopher problem and he was most pleasant. He gave me a history lesson on gophers and there tunneling. I was very impressed with his knowledge. He was very professional and explained in detail what he was going to do and why. A week later he returned as promised and removed the pesty gopher and showed me the gopher's claws for digging and his long teeth. I was overjoyed that he caught this gopher as I have been trying for months to get rid of this varmint. I just used watts for the first time yesterday for pigeon removal and WOW!!!! Besides being very very professional the tech Mr. Watts did a clean and great job doing the things on my roof that needed to be done for the pigeons to be gone. Based on other customer reviews, we decided on Watts to rid our home of pigeons. Years ago, I hired a known pest control firm in the valley and their work lacked professionalism and the job simply wasn't done right. After having a major pigeon problem, I called around and Watts had the best proposal! The office staff was very polite and set up the appointment easily. Great company and the entire staff is extremely professional. We've had a big problem with scorpions at our new property, and over the year we have went from seeing hundreds, to now only a few.
