2018-05-12: Watts came and did the gopher elimination and they haven't come back in three weeks. They took care of the problem in a single visit. So far, good- so I am updating the review from 4-to-5 stars. FYI: When I called to make the appointment, nobody answered the phone. They did eventually call back though. 2018-04-20: I am revising my original review (preserved below) because I got a call from Mark (who sounds like he's an owner or partner), and was very friendly and helpful. He saw my poor review and moved me to the beginning of the callback queue. He called just a few minutes after I left the original review and was very, very apologetic. The problem is gophers, and Mark explained thoroughly why the problem recurs and what can be done to remediate it for the long-term. (original message): I am not (yet) a customer. So far I am extremely impressed by how punctual and helpful Watts is! We just signed a lease on a new apartment and were SHOCKED by some roaches, especially since we never had ANY issue with our previous apartment. We called Watts on a Sunday and they said they would come out on Monday, which is also Memorial Day, and gave us a 4-hour window to come out. I explained to Marc on the phone on what I am seeing/suspecting and he pretty much knows the rest (very knowledgeable). I'm quite surprised by the consistently positive reviews, as I have not had a good experience with Watts. We have bird activity around our garage (assuming a nest, but of course I still don't know), to the point that babies are ending up dead on the driveway. I called six days ago asking for an inspector to come out and provide a quote for removing the nest. Apparently, a Watts inspector came by on his scheduled day, but he never called to let me know he was here so we were not able to discuss the issue and options. I simply received an email that night with a quote of $950 for every bird preventive measure in the book - but no confirmation of whether we do have a nest and whether it can be removed or for how much. That was our immediate need, which I thought I made clear when I called initially. I sent an email to Watts in response to the quote, expressing my disappointment and asking for a quote to remove the nest. No response. Called the next day around lunchtime, and Abby said my email was received and I'd hear something by the afternoon. That was 24 hours ago and I've still heard nothing. Clearly, Watts is not treating my situation as urgent. And if it's really not urgent, then at least help me understand why dead birds are ending up on my driveway and adult birds are hanging around my roof shingles, and then maybe we can talk about preventive measures. And if bird removal is not something they can help me with, then why not just tell me that? After my initial call, I also received several auto marketing emails promoting their services and specials in the meantime, which was quite annoying when all I really need right now is someone to help clean a bird's nest out of my roof -- or, at the very least, tell me what they think might be going on with these birds. Throwing high prices in my face for non-urgent products before the reason for my call is addressed is not the way to win me over as a customer. Unsubscribe. I'll be taking my money elsewhere - that is, to Terminix, who says they can inspect, talk with me about pricing, and remove a nest if necessary all in the same day. read more

Wow.. All I have to say is wow. I was referred to them by my landlord and I couldn't be happier. Jahmaine came over and did an inspection on a rodent problem. What I was told was an infestation by another company, turns out to be a small problem with a couple house mice. I haven't had a bug problem for over three years, but started noticing gnats and other tiny bugs. I found Watts Pest Prevention on Yelp and called for information. After talking to the knowledgeable office girl, i still wasn't sure if I would create a bigger problem spraying and then drawing out more bugs. The owner called me and went over options in detail. I decided to move forward and got a followup call from the office to schedule. They are SUPER organized and sent me an email confirming my time and letting me set up an online account. I received a reminder call the day before with a 2 hour time frame and a promise to call with a 30 minute warning. Germaine arrived just as promised with a call letting me know he was on his way. Germaine came in my house and assessed the bug problem and gave me advice how to proceed. I was so impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Being a CA girl, I really freaked when I saw a scorpion in my newly purchased home in Fountain Hills. We called late at night and within an hour I had Jahmaine arrive and come to my rescue. This company offers 24 hour pest help. Although this bark scorpion was no more than 2 inches in size I was totally beside myself. Jahmaine spent a lot of time educating me on scorpions and what I can do if there is a next time and then proceeded to walk my property looking to see if he spotted any more.
