This is a great restaurant to visit every 10 years. It's a laid-back place with an okay menu. We went on a Monday night and noticed the daily specials said 1/2 price apps! So we got ourselves the spinach and artichoke dip as well as the crab Rangoon egg rolls - turns out the egg rolls were a special which did not count for the 1/2 off. The dip was fine and I liked the egg rolls a lot. We then had French onion soups which were also fine. We ended up both ordering the Gorgonzola streak Alfredo. This was a major disappointment. The sauce on this pasta was indeed a white sauce, but that was where its resemblance to Alfredo sauce ended. Alfredo should be buttery and thick, cream and cheesy. This was as thin as milk and flavorless. I ate my steak off the top and was done with it. I'm going this place 3 stars because the staff was all wonderful. The server I had was so nice and the host and bartender seemed really friendly with everyone who was in and out while we were there. read more

I got there 8:29pm they closed at 9:30. I was by myself. Man at host both gave me a little attitude and said I better get order in quick they are closing. I had 1 hr and didn't feel like I would be burdening them. So on to the food. Ordered side salad very great and desssing was great. Also ordered steak Alfredo this was also very good. Got here about 5pm, was starting to fill up. I order the Asian chicken rice bowl. Kristen was my waitress and very pleasant to order from! I thought the table top was a bit sticky? Ordered the Asian Chicken Rice bowl which was pretty good with large strips of tender chicken and vegetables in it. I ordered the sauce on the side and could've gotten two little cups instead of the one. The rice noodles were Tad on the heavy side and I did not end up eating those. But they had a good crunch to them, I had coffee and Kristen was pretty punctual and getting refills to me. I think the plates were all a little on the high side, but what isn't nowadays since Covid! All the food here is amazing, but I especially recommend the Jambalaya and the roasted duck.

Our server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu, including the drink specials. The food was amazing. We ordered the dinner for 2 for $59. I got the bourbon apple glazed pork chops, and they were Delicious, my husband ordered the chicken parm and said it was excellent. We had the ranch potato wedges, which were covered in cheese and bacon for an appetizer, and each got a salad. We shared the lemon cheese cake for dessert. My wife and I went in on Saturday for our 28 th anniversary. We had rosemary chicken and pork tenderloin. Our verdict........ this place is now on our favorites list! Every item was delicious Our food arrived less than 10 minutes after ordering . For dessert we had peanut butter pie. Very good. The price was fair for today's world. We went to the restaurant for the third time, on New Year's Eve, in a storm, to celebrate my birthday. We called to notify them we were running late, with no trouble. We were seated by the door, which was freezing. The restaurant was far from busy, exactly as we expected. The service continues to disappoint. If you plan to go with more than four, avoid this place. Their refusal to provide separate checks caused unnecessary confusion when we tried to split the bill for the birthday guest. However, the waitress (confused with the request) left and came back by stating that this time, only it would be done the way we (the customer) requested it (and she did it correctly). We were pleased at the beginning to see that we did not have the waitress from the previous two times, but it seems as if the restaurant must take a moment to learn "How to welcome and service customers relationship-intensive in a pleasant mode" courses. The prices are way too high for the service and atmosphere. We all have realized that after three times, it is not the place for us as friends to have an enjoyable evening/donner. Perhaps they are not used to minorities in the restaurant being willing to pay for quality services and accommodations (which they do not provide). read more

I would love to try to recreate these as a parm at home! While I am talking about NON GREASY- their onion rings are the best I ever had. Went here again for another occasion. It's an independent restaurant not a chain restaurant. The waitress was excellent. Brussel sprout appetizer was great. Crab cakes were excellent, spinach dip was great Our meals were rosemary chicken which was excellent, Atlantic salmon, excellent , pot roast, excellent. Arrived at 1:30 for a late lunch. Only about 4 cars in the lot. Restaurant looked pretty empty. Two ladies waiting to be seated when we went in and you could tell by their frustration they had been waiting for a while. When the hostess/server came to seat them she almost looked disgusted we came in. It was at that point we left. Not sure if she was the only server that day and I understand their is a lack of people wanting to work post pandemic, but is it even worth staying open if you only have one server?? The least any restaurant could do is bring the manager in to help out, if they aren't available , the owner...if you don't have either shut it down for a shift. Nothing worse than walking into that kind of environment. Take care of your staff and don't expect them to handle a floor by themselves. Something isn't right if you go down the street to a fully staffed restaurants and owner present great service and food! If your place only has a tired, grouchy server seating (or in our case) not seating guests you got to find a way to do better. read more

When my plate arrived I was given a little side dish of tzatziki. Yum; I couldn't help myself from slathering it all over the chicken and dipping my fries in it. Food was good. Service was great. Food arrived quick even though we had a larger group. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is roomy, which makes it a good location for dinner meetings. The food and service here is good, but don't go if you have a party of more than 4. They "CAN'T" give multiple bills at one table. They can't even arrange the bill by seat, or break it into individual meals. Just one giant bill, you figure it out. I have no problem if you add gratuity to my table of 13, but I shouldn't have to sit there and do the math and write down on a napkin how much my tab is for the server. Its 2024, I can Venmo someone in Malaysia $20, and you can't figure out how to assign seating positions in your ordering? Do better. read more

They couldn't split the check and being a business dinner, we couldn't get separate receipts for business expenses, drinks came in phases and the waitress took forever to actually take our orders. We bought a local flavor coupon so that we could try this place out and I'm glad I had the coupon because the meal would not have been worth it otherwise. Pros: -Decor was nice, decorated for Valentine's Day. -Service was very fast and attentive. Food came out quickly -Very extensive menu -Entrees served with fresh rolls and salads -My boyfriend ordered the gorgonzola steak pasta and that was actually delicious, however priced at $27 I believe so a bit steep for what it was. Cons: -I ordered the Voodoo Shrimp that supposedly came with gulf shrimp. It came out with regular shrimp. Very disappointed because I ONLY ordered it for the gulf shrimp. The cream sauce on the pasta was very bland and I could make a better one at home. I'm not one to complain about my meal so I ate it anyway but would definitely not order again. Price was $26 and not even close to worth it. Overall, a bit too pricey for the taste of the food and I wouldn't try again without a coupon. We sat at the bar with the bartender Rod. He was wonderful as was the food. Perfectly cooked! I got the bean and bacon soup and it reminded me of a minestrone in term so the great meaty thickness. The flavor was just right. I could have gotten another bowl! There were 4 large sea scallops with asparagus and rice pilaf. Again, cooked well and seasoned excellent! I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in the nearby hotels. It is within a short walking distance and safe. Came here for Fish Fry dinner. We were happy to see that the restaurant was doing a healthy dine-in business while maintaining appropriate COVID restrictions. I ordered the beer battered fish fry and my spouse had the stuffed sole. Our drinks were generous and mixed well. Service was spectacular by our waitress Elaine. The food came in a surprisingly timely manner given the number of full tables. I hadn't had a fish fry in awhile and I was very pleasantly surprised, The batter was crispy while the encrusted fish was moist, tender and hot. The macaroni salad was seasoned perfectly and the coleslaw wasn't drowning in Mayo. My husband enjoyed the stuffed sole and suggested we share dessert. We ordered chocolate cake to share.
