Monday lunch with friends, there were eight of us and we were seated in the room I would consider the sun room. We were the only ones in the room so it was great to be as loud as we wanted without disturbing anyone. They have a large parking lot but it can be easy to miss since it's by one of the roundabout's. I had the Beef on Weck wrap. Asked our waitress about it since it's been a while since I was there. She said it was one of the newer items and is very popular. The beef is wrapped in a flour tortilla with provolone, creamy horseradish, salt & caraway seeds & finished in a panini press. It comes with chips and a pickle but I upgraded to fries. My choices were straight cut, waffle or sweet potato so I opted for waffle fries. I would definitely order it again. Everyone enjoyed their food, too busy talking to take pics but some of their options were the beer cheddar soup, corned beef quesadilla, burger, chicken sandwich, roast beef on white bread with mashed potatoes & gravy. This is an Irish pub/restaurant that is a good size and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We ate there around 6 pm on a Thursday and it wasn't super busy yet. Their food is delicious with generous portions. My husband had the Irish dip, which is just like a French dip, he said it was really good - probably the best he's ever had. My son had the Club House with chips and he really enjoyed it. My daughter had the cheeseburger and fries and it is a large burger but she really gobbled up the whole thing and loved all the pickle spears! I always forget about JP's since we live in the Northtowns and they are in the Southtowns, but I won't forget them anymore. Lunch today was amazing. his was our first visit here and our last. We walked in and not greeted with a hello just a how many, booth or table. The same server that we didn't know would be ours cut us off as we walked to the front. We asked for a booth and we were seated right across from the back end of the bar entrance. She took our menus and I told my fiancé to get the manager. He went up front to the greeters and told them TO GET THE MANAGER due to the attitude and the attitude needs to stop or we are leaving. The receptionist walked past our table and as she was walking past our table shot a look at my mother in law in a disgust way. That's when we had enough. We got up and went up front. We used to like going here but lately it's off. Last time we went the chicken wings were sauceless and the beef on the beef in weck was like a cheap deli meat and had no beef flavor. A particular wait staff needs attitude improvement because the last two times she's been grumpy and needs to retire. I don't think she appreciates it when we order cocktails, that second round seems to irritate her, she never asks if we want another and when we ask for a second she is definitely bothered by it. You can really fulfill any craving here - Buffalo specialties, comfort food, Mexican dishes, and of course Irish fare. Lots of cocktail and bottled/ canned drink options, definitely an upscale bar offering and not a pub. There is a section of the menu which also has some healthy but delicious entrees. Lots of room with a huge indoor seating area, outdoor patio and tons of TV's in the bar to watch the big game. This time we sat on the patio, there was plenty of space between tables. We ordered the combo 1 and shepherds pie. Combo 1 was good and same as it always is, flavorful and cooked properly. The beef was tender and the Montana wings and sweet potato fries were crispy. The shepherds pie was ok, could have used more gravy. The staff was wearing masks and the service was good. I am taking off a star because there were young men waiting inside for a table at the hostess stand area, waiting for a table, masks off and drinking. Several waitresses walked by and didn't ask them to step outside or put their masks back on. During our dinner the same young men, in a group of 8-10, came outside on the patio area and smoked and vaped around other patrons. Again the staff didn't ask them to step to the parking lot, which is 5 steps off the patio, and let them crowd around guests who were eating at a table.
