Had a great fish fry at JPs! Beer battered fish fry was very good! Sides were also great. I had the slaw and the macaroni salad... both were very good... but especially love their coleslaw!! Service was quick and friendly!! We sat in a spacious back room with many windows that let the sun in. There are several other rooms... JPs is pretty big inside... but on a Lenten Friday you can expect a wait... we waited about 20 minutes for lunch.. but it was well worth the wait!

It is a big place so no problem getting a table on a Wednesday! Saw pics of the French onion soup so I had to try it, awesome!! Very thick layer on gooey delicious cheese! The soup itself was also awesome, good strong flavored broth and plenty of onions!! We shared the jalapeño poppers special. Perfectly crispy deep fried goodness, not supper hot but a good warming ! Reuben burger- a delicious, juicy burger with tender delicious fresh corned beef . The wife had the Shepard pie, she said it was delicious but would have liked more meat . The potatoes were real mashed potato's . Friendly service! E will return

We had a great visit to JP Fitzgeralds. This is a fun, comfortable Irish Pub with lots of space, excellant service, fresh food, and a large beer offering. Parking lot was packed yet we were seated immediately They bake their rye bread and rolls fresh daily and you can taste the difference Our sandwhiches were delicious, the wings were perfect *crispy golden outside, juicy inside, and the french onion soup was cheesy gooey goodness! Space is divided in different rooms which helps manage the noise level. Outdoor seating, spacious bar area. Large oarjubg litt. Carryout and cateering. What we tried: French Onion Soup Beef on Weck: Slowly roasted beef sliced and piled on a fresh baked weck roll. The Buffalo Combo: 1 mini beef on weck, 5 chicken wings and waflle fries. My rating rationale +1 Service +1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +1 Atmosphere/vibe +1 Value

We came here for lunch on one of the last warm weekends of the summer. Matt was blown away by their shepherds pie, totally obsessed. I wasn't crazy about my panini. He liked the beet cheese soup too. It's a nice ambiance sitting outside on the patio but bring a sweater because I was a little chilly without a jacket in the shade! Very good service, quick and friendly!!

3 star review strictly based on our food, chicken fingers to be exact. My husband ordered the chicken fingers and fries and I got the chicken finger wrap. The fingers were SO thin, mostly breading. They are reasonably priced, but I would have preferred more chicken. I couldn't even finish my wrap. Service and drinks were great. We will not be ordering chicken fingers again!

I really have to speak highly about this place for over all value! I attended a book club event here with a group of ladies and we were easily accommodated for our group of 6. The waitress was very sweet and also agreeable to separating our checks which was awesome! As far as the food it was really good! The beer cheese soup was awesome and had homemade rye croutons which were fantastic. Really good flavor in the soup. Also the mini beef on Weck was the perfect size! Honestly for $20 I got a soup plus a sandwich and chips. Amazing value and great deal in this economy!

I always forget about JP's since we live in the Northtowns and they are in the Southtowns, but I won't forget them anymore. Lunch today was amazing. I'm going to go out on a limb and say their roast beef today is number two on my all time list. Service was great, and quick. I pulled in minutes before they opened and there was already a line at the hostess stand. I started with French onion soup. It was good. Maybe top 5, and I've had a lot of French onion. The cheese was perfectly melted. Then I had a Combo #2. Waffle fries. Mini beef on weck. 5 wings. 3 fingers (but I had 4). It was way too much food and it was all so delicious. Plenty to take home. My lunch buddies had beef on weck with onion rings. Huge portions. She couldn't believe how much meat was on her sandwich. We will be back and you should too!

Mini Roast beef sandwich and chips. The sandwich was delicious and just the right size if you are not having dessert.

Huge portions, Good Service, Quick to the table. Irish Beer Cheese Soup was very tasty and I got a mini Beef sandwich and it was still like a full size sandwich from some other places. Hubby got the Hot Roast Beef with mash potatoes and gravy. Said gravy was bland compared to the beef. Dessert(Fudge brownie) came in a mini skillet hot and enough to steal a bite. I noticed the menu was from 6yrs ago. I have new pics of the changes in food and prices.

I haven't been here in about five years. It's still a nice dining experience. Prices have gone up since the last time I was there, of course. But the food is still good. I'd recommend this restaurant and hope to make it back again, hopefully sooner than in another five years!

I'd never before seen sourdough croissants or cheese danishes; there's an abundance of gorgeous loaves/boules for sale. (Cheese fondue supplies! Yes!!). A baker's rack to the right sells day-old bread at discounted prices (make your own croutons!) I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something earthier and beautifully executed.

For those who have never been, there's two entry points; the front (from the street), is wheelchair friendly, while the back (from the parking lot) has some stairs. There are two single bathrooms available in this place. If you're dining in, you can order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. Regardless you need to order at the counter anyway. They always have a great selection of baked goods and coffee, plus specialty drinks on rotation. They offer light breakfast and lunch if you don't want just a coffee and pastry. They sell gifts and ground/bean coffee along with flavored syrups. For this particular trip, I ventured in to get lavender syrup (Torani). I treated myself to a specialty rotating drink (Hansel and Gretel frozen coffee - frozen coffee with gingerbread and white chocolate). I also purchased a blueberry muffin and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin (also a rotation dessert specialty). All were excellent, as par for course here. I don't hear at all but speak well, so the kind lady at the front grabbed a pad and writing utensil to communicate with me, which was very helpful and so we both were on the same page. It was very appreciated. Another reason I love this place, they're so accommodating

We went with the regular sauce (they also have a sweet sauce but we both dislike sweet sauce). It was great! The pizza was well done with nicely cup and char pepperoni, and the cheese were good quality (Sorrento now rebranded as Galbani) unlike some pizza places that use subpar mozzarella cheese. There was definitely double cheese and double pepperoni, but we both agreed that it was just too much cheese and next time we would just get regular cheese but still with double pepperoni. Well, there was a Sunday Bills game a few weeks later so we decided to call ahead to place an order with the double pepperoni. We called on Saturday morning and paid over the phone and everything. Planned pickup around halftime so hubby could go pick it up. We got home and were severely disappointed. It looked like double cheese with regular pepperoni, and the pizza looked undercooked where there was absolutely no char on the cheese or the pepperoni. At that price point, we decided to call and complain (which is something we pretty much never do). They offered to make us a new one and we offered to bring back the bad one, but they said to keep it or toss it. Hangry Hubby left during the second half to go pick up the second pizza which he opened to see while there and it looked the same as the first one! It was busy and by that point he was mentally done. He came home, we unhappily ate some of the underbaked pizza that was ridiculously cheesy with not enough pepperoni, and hubby swore to never order from there again. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures from both times for visuals cause that's how I usually am with pizzas - I see it, I forget about everything else and I eat it, immediately. LOL One thing to note - hubby did say that the first time he went there, there was a guy who looked like he might have been the owner (or at least someone in charge) that made the delicious pizza. And on the day of the Bills game he didn't see that guy. So, perhaps that's the difference maker. However, at $35-40 a pizza, we are NOT willing to deal with the inconsistent quality. This was extremely disappointing because hubby has not found a pizza place he likes in Hamburg since we moved here 7 years ago (our absolute favorite is the original Santora's in Depew, or Imperial or La Nova). So, back to not having any decent pizza places we can order from in Hamburg again... blargh!
