Small, little local place. Service was quick and friendly. Nice menu options for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The chicken fried steak was crispy and nicely seasoned. The gravy was thick and full of sausage. The chicken was also fried nicely with a good portion. The waffle had a nice taste to it but it came out at room temp. It would have been really good if it was hot. We will definitely go back to try some more menu items.

    Very nice design and atmosphere.

What a great little breakfast/lunch venue. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and pleasant. Very nice clean cozy modern look inside. Due to their delicious food, weekends it can get very busy. But I'll gladly wait at any restaurant if the food is well worth waiting for and it definitely is here! They are consistently good. One thing I really like is there Florentine Benedict. I was never a big fan of the Benedict but they have their own holidays sauce. That is absolutely delicious. Well worth the trip! You can find me here several times a week.

When I was a kid this area of Bensalem was all truck stops and factories. The Penn Salt Manufacturing Co. that stood where Waterside housing is today was actually targeted by a 4-man team of Nazi saboteurs that were ordered to blow it up in June of 1942. You can read the article here https://buckscountyadventures.org/targeted-for-destruction/ for some history. It seemed strange to pull into this area, because all I can remember was a saw-toothed roofed chemical factory along the river with rail lines and tanker cars sitting out front. The housing there now is much nicer on the eyes! The Waterside Cafe takes up bottom floor retail space along State Road with a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. They offer breakfast, lunch, a kids menu and bakery items. The inside is an L shaped diner with bar seating, TV's and plenty of tables. The server was a very nice lady who was quick with service and wasn't bashful about giving menu recommendations. Her top choice was the Chorizo Burrito - Chorizo Sausage, Cheddar Cheese, Peppers, Onions, Scrambled Eggs in a Tortilla, Served with Sour Cream & Red Salsa, Home Fries, Breakfast Potatoes or Fruit Cocktail $13.49. I went with that. It needed some hot sauce to give it flavor, but overall it was nothing special, but nothing terrible. Their coffee is pretty darn good! It's a medium to darker roast with some body, not a thin and watery weak cup. I will return to explore more of the menu if I find myself back in this area of Bensalem. Thanks guys!

I got the California eggs Benedict and it was very good would recommend it. Our server was quick and nice and got seated right away definitely worth the price! Plus you can walk around the area and see the water.

Went to Ashley furniture got a picture with Brandon graham. Have to waste 2 hours to go back and see if we win raffle. Went to my trusty ole Yelp and found waterside cafe and diner. Arrived and parking is tough but found a spot just down the street. Entered and was sat right away. Nice and clean with a big menu. Andrea ordered a cob salad and I ordered a Monti Cristo sandwich that comes with fries, slaw and a soup for $14.99 which is different for me. Andrea got the cream of chicken soup and I got the seafood bisque soup. Both were thick creamy and delicious. If I had to lean towards one, I would choose the cream of chicken soup. The seafood bisque and a small hint of spicy towards it. Now that is just me I'm not a spicy guy. However again it was delicious. Lunch came within 15 min. The cob salad was full of warm chicken and bacon. Very fresh. My sandwich came out and the French toast was done nicely and all meats inside were fresh. Now listen again with my taste buds was not a fan of a sandwich with French toast. But it was a good portion and fresh all the way around. Lunch for two with just waters was $32. Our waitress Heidi was very nice, attentive and professional. I will def return this place has more of a cafe feel then a diner feel. Really enjoyed it.

Came here on a busy Sunday morning. All the tables were full but got seated right away at the counter. Food was good. Service was good, quick, and friendly. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu & lunch options.

Good was excellent. Server was pleasant and friendly with a great attitude. Prices weren't bad. Amount of food was ridiculous. I ordered a club sandwich and asked to exchange the fries and pay an up charge for the crock of onion soup. I ended up getting the french fries too. I normally don't eat too many fries because they're boring, but these fries were exceptional. The French onion soup was the best I've ever had. I did not know you could make French onion soup that good! The cheese just had a taste I never had before. You could tell it was quality. The onion soup had a flavor that was just to die for. The club was great. The mayonnaise was not too eggy. The server was a lovely woman. I can't remember her name, but she lives in my hometown of Bristol. She was delightful and we were Vibing. She is definitely one of those people that you will go to that restaurant just to see. They should never lose her. I hope they give her a raise. I also bought a package of Lacas coffee K cups! This visit made my entire week!

The corned beef hoagie at Marinucci's Deli is incomparable. It is layered with paper thin slices that are rich but never heavy. The dressing is balanced, the coleslaw adds a nice tang, and the shredded lettuce brings a fresh crunch that ties it all together. That's not enough. If you're from Philly you know that none of the above matters if your bread sucks. Well... Marinucci's offers seeded and unseeded rolls that are incredible. Please join me in thanking baby Buddha for this crusty, chewy yet fluffy vessel of perfection. The hoagie is massive, about the length of two of my hands long, and consistently excellent from first bite to last. When I first unrolled the hoagie my immediate thoughts were that I would never finish this in one sitting. I was right but you do you boo. The service matches the quality. It is an old school deli line that moves fast, with orders handled quickly and accurately even during a rush. Key word is ACCURATELY. Who knew that in 2026 whether or not a business can make your order accurately would be a thing but here we are. It's an important mention because this little detail tells me that they actually give AF. Ambiance: think classic Philly deli but without the attitude or aggression. Add chips and rice pudding to complete your order :)

I was greeted by a lady who said the go-to is the Italian. I said "let's do it". I waited a bit as the sandwich mad made fresh. Another lady came out and took my money. I believe it was $11. A few minutes later I was handed a giant hoagie. I got back to my office and u wrapped my present. I was immediately engulfed by the smells of provolone, vinegar, onions and wonderful meats. The sandwich was BIG so I decided to cut it. After the first bite I was in love. I proceeded to eat half and saved the remainder in my fridge for lunch the following day. It's lovely Italian deli a block away from Rittenhouse square, where they have a wide assortment of fantastic sandwiches. I chose the Vesuvius today and what a treat it was. While trying to determine what I wanted to order for lunch last week, I took a look at the Yelp Page for Tortice's and saw some of the most mouth watering options ever. I ordered my sandwich directly on the Yelp Page and it was ready when I got there to pick it up. The prices are super fair, I managed to get a drink and chips too for less than $25 for everything. The highlight of this sandwich was the chicken cutlet. I am PICKY when it comes to chicken cutlets. The seasoning here was absolute perfection. The portion was generous.
