Unexpectedly cute and cozy vibe tucked into a shopping center. Build your own breakfast sandwich and the panini were both really tasty. A little hidden gem in Penndel.

The food never misses here. 2nd visit, this time around noon on a Saturday. Kind of busy, but we found a table for the 3 of us. Great service. Try the chocolate covered banana latte...DELICIOUS!

I love it here!!!! My sister and I were craving a banana drink and the banana matcha was delicious. I do wish the banana latte had more banana flavor but I still thought it was really good regardless. The staff here was very kind and I love the vibe and atmosphere. This is my new go to spot Food and drinks are 10/10!

First time going, loved the vibe and menu options. Coffee and food was good. All three girls at the front were really nice and welcoming and super helpful. I had to take points off because someone who seemed to be the manager (an older heavier set white woman) was visibly loud, rude, and yelling at the staff who was working the front. Even if they made a mistake she could've had the decency to yell in private. :/ Again loved the service. Front girls were super helpful bringing my food to my table , and prices were great.

My favorite sentence is: "Build Your Own Breakfast Sandwich." I mean, is there really anything in this world as good as gooey, buttery, savory breakfast sandwich? I don't think so. I opted for an egg, cheddar, and avocado spread on a crossaint. It was quickly made to order, and it was B-E-A-UTIFUL. Other adaptations include different cheeses, different breads (like a bubble waffle or sourdough!), and, of course, proteins like bacon, sausage, turkey sausage. Don't forget the sauces or spreads! They have a wide menu of smoothies, coffee, and espresso drinks. I opted for a non-fat caramel iced latte. It was fine. I kinda wished I didn't pick the caramel flavor - it tasted a little artificial. The drink was a good value, I might stick to a black cold brew next time. Cute spot! Lots of parking. And don't forget... BUILD YOUR OWN BREAKFAST SANDWICH.

The good: Nice Egg Cheese Sausage Bagel. All the add ons for the sandwiches and prices are clearly identified on the menus. Large side of well prepared side of scrambled eggs for 3.99. Service was friendly. The Bad: They charged an extra 1.10 because we wanted milk in our coffees! This price was not shown on the menus or anywhere else in the business! The coffee didn't have enough milk for me and it tasted bitter. Rather than ask for more milk at this place I took the coffee home to add milk. The fact that they would charge that amount of money to even get milk in your coffee, without informing customers is hard to forgive. The associate just looked up the pricing on the computer and shrugged her shoulders. Nice place but with the undisclosed add on for milk, I won't be returning until they change this price gouge. My suggestion is do not go there for coffee!

This new cafe on Old Lincoln Highway, Penndel, PA, is a strong addition to the java scene in the area. In a strip center in a nondescript part of this aging burg, they have established a small storefront shop with Covered Bridge Roasters caffeine, standard expresso offerings, and a simple, but satisfying breakfast/lunch menu and very nice pastry display. I decided to sit in with a Sausage, Egg & Cheddar on Ciabatta and large dark brew hot coffee. It arrived hot and steaming with double eggs and single patty. It was very good on the fresh, crusty roll. The joe was likewise hot, brisk and energizing. The two young women behind the counter were friendly and knew their barista skills well. The cook in the kitchen was heard conversing with them and also clearly knew his short order abilities, bringing out my sandwich quickly and attractively plated. I was tempted by the apple cider donuts and lemon bars, but realized it would be better to wait on those sweet snacks for another visit.

In my two experiences so far I think Well Bean fits in Penndel pretty well. You have your very quick model in 711, above that Dunkin, these guys fit in the next tier and then you have your sit down wait service at the Coffee Cup. The inside is welcoming and nicely put together. The girl who waited on me was friendly and helpful with the menu. The menu itself is very basic which is fine for now. They can add to it down the road, just do what you do well. Check out their Facebook page to find some additional specials. Coffee wise they use local Covered Bridge Roasters. The prices are fair and the brew was fresh. I really enjoyed the Cortado, they added just the right touch of milk and creaminess to the espresso. They also have cold brew, lattes, nitro coffee, iced coffee, smoothies and several varieties of teas. Food wise, the breakfast sandwiches are a big portion and the price is as well. Although comparable to say a Bagelocity in Bensalem at almost $9, you can get a bagel sandwich for almost half the price at Dunkin. Of course, quality wise you get a bigger portion and it's made to order with cracked eggs and fresher meats. You can choose your meat (the turkey sausage was pretty darn good) and cheese. I'm not sure whose bagels they use, but they were average and fresh. They sell several varieties of single serve/to share baked goods out of a case. My son enjoyed the Oreo cake he picked out. They did not have pancakes or French toast on either visit (their Facebook page showed French toast available in July), but they do have bubble waffles. I bought a couple of plain ones to go for the kids and they enjoyed them at home. They do offer several types of bubble waffles on their menu with different toppings. They have guest Wifi. Overall I think Well Bean is a good addition to the local coffee scene. Their menu is simple and that may bother some folks looking for exotic toppings or offerings, but they can always grow into that in time. For now, help them grow and stop by. They do have lunch which I haven't explored yet.

just tried this today with my daughter. Nice little spot, she had hot chocolate, and I had a latte which were good, but the bubble waffle with Greek yogurt, berries, honey, and granola was delicious. Large enough for both of us to share. Definitely will be back. service was great too!

I love going to new coffee shops and having a great first experience. This store had such good vibes and the workers were so nice. When you walk in, you can look at all of their different types of sweets and pastries to choose from. I got the lemon blueberry scone (they have different flavors day to day) and it was amazing! Not dry, and so much flavor. I also had to try one of their breakfast sandwiches. Think of a homemade version of a Starbucks bacon gouda sandwich. The egg was so fluffy, bacon crispy and just the right amount of cheese. Delicious! Will definitely be coming back for another one!! And lastly I had a good cup of coffee. It wasn't bitter and they had so many options to choose from, for whatever you're in the mood for. They even have specialty drinks to choose from if you want to try something new! Overall you have to check them out! 10/10 :)

Small town ambiance Have you ever wanted to live out your wildest small town diner dreams? Well come to the Radcliffe, where the servers are all so sweet and make you feel like you are a local that comes in everyday for coffee and your sunny side eggs. The customer service right from the door is so warm and inviting like a hug from a cozy grandma. As for the food, you get mostly classic breakfast foods like pancakes, sandwiches and the crispy home fries. It is nothing flashy but it is delicious. The coffee is good and they are constantly filling your cup. I also appreciate that they have reasonable prices in this crazy economy. The only downside is that the place is small, so be prepared to wait on the weekend a little bit. We have never waited more than 15 minutes because this part of town is not too busy. Come check them out!

The staff was friendly and prompt. They kept the coffee coming and made you feel at home. Cash only, but they have an ATM on site. I had their two egg special - eggs scrambled with sausage links, home fries and rye toast for $6-$7 ..... with coffee, around $10-$11. The home fries were ok, but the eggs and sausage hit the spot. Their coffee was a tasty roasted blend that needed nothing added. Their lunch menu looks like it has some great choices with all different styles of - steak sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and salads. I'd definitely return if in the area for the friendly and quick service. If you need a break from the busier Mill Street area this is a good place to land! Thanks guys!

I adored their original location, as it was super quaint, quirky and cozy. When they first moved to this new spot, it felt a bit more clinical and commercial but they've done a great job of personalizing it, and I'm happy they kept a lot of the original furniture. My favorite item on their menu is the Whitefish Toast -- it comes on a fresh, thick, hearty piece of seeded toast, and the whitefish salad is dressed with pickled carrots and micro greens. It's a pretty generous portion at a reasonable price. I also love their seasonal Campfire latte, which is a rich, creamy delight with a touch of sweetness. On this visit, they had run out of the marshmallow topping but they kindly offered a partial refund to make up for it. The only downside is that this place gets packed early; by 8:45am, the only seat available was in the window. People seem to post up for the day with their laptops, and while everyone loves a good coffee shop work sesh, it seems ownership may need to institute a time limit so others can enjoy the atmosphere as well. If you're dreaming of stellar coffee, tasty locally-sourced food, and nearby access to the river, this place answers all your prayers.
