$18 worth of sad cheeseburger, gross battered fries and a yummy Snapple.

This is what a 1 star frozen cheeseburger with a side of disgusting batter dipped French fries for $18 looks like, in their defense I did get a Snapple too.

Ham, Egg and Cheese on a Bagel with hot sauce

Small spot off of Route 13 just off the Street Road exit off of I-95. Seemed clean inside and organized. Coffee/Tea bar on the right side with a walk up window and more of the kitchen/checkout area on the left. There were lots of small Ecuadorian art pieces in the windows and on some walls so I'm going to assume the proprietor is from Ecuador. The lady (I'm assuming she's the owner) who helped me was very nice and took my order. They had one guy cooking and another handling deliveries. It's a small operation, but they were hustling. They had a nice assortment of teas so I went with a green tea. The coffee offering is pretty big too as well as the food menu. I tried a ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The ham was a lunch meat ham rather than a Canadian bacon or cooked ham style and made the sandwich a bit salty. The bagel was fresh and the eggs and cheese were tasty. I watched the guy on the flat top make my breakfast and he was being very sanitary. I'll have to try other menu items. This visit was a bit rushed for me so I will definitely repeat another time if I'm in this neck of the woods.

There is a small table in the front of Belly Busters, but take out and delivery is really the only way to go for breakfast and lunch at this tiny roadside shack of a South American kitchen on old Rt. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Eddington, PA. We didn't know that until after we ordered, having cozied into the few chairs around that mesa and sipped their excellent coffee. I guess they took pity on us and allowed us to stay and eat our breakfasts. Or, maybe it was me taking pictures, asking questions and letting it slip that I would write a Yelp review about the experience, that changed their minds. Thank you. We went with a breakfast special of doubled sausage, egg and cheese sammy and morning burrito. El senor worked the grill, while la senora was barista, cashier and hostess. Couldn't tell if the young guy making deliveries was family or not. Our grub was great and a good value. The biggest surprise was the new wing of the shop dedicated to java. It was a full blown Expresso operation born from the dozen years working at Starbucks before opening their own business, complete with bottled syrups for flavored lattes and capps. We were fortunate to be able to hang out over breakfast and watch/listen to customers and staff interact. It was apparent that the family was proud of their success and showed appreciation to everyone who came in. Admittedly, Belly Busters is a bit of a dive, but only in the best way. The corners may be dusty, but the love and effort are tangible.

Cheese Steak lunch special with fries

Small family owned place. We did the lunch specials of the burger and cheesesteak that came with a soda and fries. Price was about $18, which seems ok but the steak portion was small. Food was ok and decent for a quick stop but not a place I have to go back to regularly honestly. Increase the portions and we can talk.

Honestly I'm shocked at all of the bad reviews for this place. We stopped in Thursday morning for a quick breakfast. We arrived to a very pleasant lady and she was more then personable. The restaurant itself is small but very clean and organized. They have a small coffee bar as well. I went with the egg and cheese quesadilla. It was delicious! Everything was cooked fresh and the homefries were just as good. You can't beat fresh food and a good price. I would surely stop back in. Solid 4 stars all around.

Belly Busters is a small little deli on 413 in Bensalem. There is a small parking lot and very limited seating, two picnic tables to be exact. The staff was very professional and courteous. The sandwiches are big but I wouldn't exactly call them Belly Busters. The sandwiches are very good. I ordered a Cubano. It was very good with Ham, Pork and Swiss cheese and spicy mustard, topped with pickles. My Wife had a Chicken Caesar salad wrap and she enjoyed it but it was not large at all. I have seen pictures of their Breakfast Sandwiches and they look pretty big, maybe that's where the Belly Busters term comes in. I will have to stop back and try some breakfast items. For now they will get three stars until I try the breakfast.

The staff are all young and our server ( whose name escapes me ) was very attentive and steered us towards 2 dishes she said were most popular. Both were very good. The suggestions were welcome because the menu is fairly large. It was still happy hour and all the 16 or so beers on tap were only $5 or $6. (They have a full bar with many exotic looking cocktails being served to patrons at other tables around us.) We skipped getting appetizers and went straight for our entrees. The Crispy Seafood platter was a tasty combination of fried shrimp, scallops and catfish with 1 crab cake. The French Fries were unusually shaped cuts of potato and were also very good. Although on the pricey side ($42) it was worth the price. The Creamy Garlic Shrimp with asparagus spears on the Asian American portion of the menu was also very good. Prices run from the low 20's to a $60 Seafood Boil. Worth another visit. An automatic 18% gratuity is added to your check.

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

Loaded tater tots - tossed/coated with cheese and real bacon bits, instead of just a ladle of cheese on top. Cheesesteak eggrolls - Three large egg rolls cut into halves. Loaded with beef, but I don't think there was quite enough cheese. The spicy ketchup was good. Basil chicken (white wine sauce) with diced tomatoes and angel hair - not the most flavorful, but it could just be the nature of the dish. The chicken tasted freshly prepared. Sometimes it can taste nuked in some other restaurants. I used a spritz of lemon. I took leftovers home and put pecorino romano cheese. Cheese was the key missing ingredient for me. This was a very large portion for less than $19, so I think the meal was worth it. It also comes with soup and garlic bread/dinner rolls. The wedding soup was very very hearty and full of meatballs. I'm used to getting like three or four pieces. Not sure if there was an upcharge (I forgot to look), but even if there was it would have been worth it. Burger and fries - also huge portion and worth the price. It might not be the best, but for what they are charging I think it is very fair. These definitely taste like frozen fries, so do not expect too much. Service and staff were very friendly, despite what some reviews had mentioned.
