I was so excited to see a restaurant in the neighborhood have German fare. Everything was delicious and the wine menu was so reasonable at $6 a glass. The beer menu was vast and we had excellent personal customer service. We will be back!! Also the decor is old skool fantastic. read more

Tasty food. Great draft beer selection, especially for this side of town. Clean, modern, comfortable place to grab a bite or have a drink. Great music. Will be back. read more

Wow, it's really difficult keeping a 5 star rating, but this place deserves it. Really good German food can be found here. The Goulash is the closest I've found to the dream bowl I had in Belgium - melt in your mouth stewed beef with just the right amount of spices. Wursts were great as well as the Pretzel Bites. My kids loved their burgers too. Even their Papaya salad was pretty good. Great choice of beers on tap too! read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would! What a fantastic local hangout and bar/restaurant. The service is quick, food is good, drinks are wonderful and overall experience is excellent. Love the atmosphere of the place. read more

Visited for the first time with friends and loved the place. Good food, great drinks and great prices. Great addition to the Westbury neighborhood and servers are great also. Ran into a lot of neighbors too while we were hanging out Support your local business and give them a try read more

The food and beer prices are too high... The inside environment is not intimate at all. I think its the wrong for the location its in...

Love the food! Great neighborhood restaurant! Love that they opened near us! Had the Reuben today and it was delicious. Sweet potato fries are outstanding as well. Love to see less chain restaurants and more ingenuity like watershed read more

Great place and long overdue for sometimes sleepy Meyerland. Good tap selection and drink prices are very reasonable. German-inspired food. The owner is super engaged and focused on the service. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch today and ordered the smoked Pastrami sandwich on marbled rye. It was very good, nice and smokeyyyy! I get the sauerkraut on the side because I rarely like it so didn't eat it but that is a preference thing ;) I picked sweet potato fries as my side and they were very good too. My sister ordered the burger on challah and she really liked it. We need to return one of these evenings because they have a very extensive on tap beer selection and a full bar. The waitress informed us that happy hour drinks are $1 off their regular menu price. read more

Excellent food and great prices on beer! Will recommend for great German style food and great beer selection

This is such a great neighborhood restaurant! The food is great, the servers are friendly, and it has a full bar. The beer selection is especially impressive. I had the fish and chips and highly recommend; the batter was not overly greasy and had the perfect amount of "crisp". We will definitely be back soon! read more

Delicious, fresh food. Great neighborhood spot with friendly owner. Love the burger, fries, beet salad, pretzel bites and chicken schnitzel.

Fantastic. Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, maybe ever. My husband had a pork dish, also very tasty. They brought it out to us curbside and were very professional with masks and gloves. We'll definitely be back. read more

absolutely positive journey all around. from the aesthetics, to the seasoning profiles, to the incessantly welcoming owners and staff.. i wish i had paused for a photo of the food, but there's proof positive above. like a kandinsky, this feels simultaneously like art i may have grafted and also a million leagues out of my wheelhouse - which is to say, my favorite meals taste like a home i was denied, but for which i'll gladly foot the train fare. which is to say, the goulash and the bratwurst will warrant the train fare for the foreseeable future. read more

The chicken sandwich we ordered tasted like the chicken had been sitting out for a while... straight to the trash

I had the best bratwurst ever here with crispy, delicious tater tots. Due to social distancing I had to get it to go but I do love their selection of soda. read more

We the adults loved it here but the kids not so much. They wished they served the noodles without the green stuff ( dill ).Desert is not on the menu but please ask because they loved ... loved ... the apple strudel in chocolate sauce so we scored big there as grandparents. read more

Great time and place. Prices are reasonable. People are friendly. Food outstanding. Beer selection great. Will come again. Supporting a local business is a bonus. read more

Absolutely positively unequivocally delicious. The hot potato salad is to die for. The schnitzel is cooked to perfection, tender, and offset perfect by the lemon. The sauerkraut is sour enough to be amazing but not so sour as to turn you off (and I don't even like cabbage). 10/5. read more

Great addition to the neighborhood! We needed a spot like this in Westbury to meet with friends, have a beer and some good food. The grilled cheese is super yum. And great beer selection! read more

Not a real well thought out theme or lack there of that is; food is so so; loud obnoxious old guy sitting at the bar that the management should have asked to leave since it looks like they are trying to attract a local clientele but that did not happen read more

Trying my best to live this place. Just not for me. Limited menu. Average food. Kitchen smoke enters the dining area and service is fair at best. Good for a drink at the bar after work. read more

Went tonight and loved it, such a nice chill vibe and the fish and chips were amazing! I will definitely be coming back with friends!

I enjoyed this place. Yelp brought me and I wasn't disappointed. Great beer list and the fish and chips were amazing. Had a chance to talk with the owner and he really seemed to care about my patronage and experience. read more

Great Beer Selection, Food, and Atmosphere! Had the Fish and Chips today, excellent! Smoked wings are fall off the bone good. If you love rich hearty food and great beer, this is your place! read more

We finally made it over to the Watershed last night! Why have we waited so long??! The cheeseburger was phenomenal and the sweet potato fries were delicious!! Great atmosphere and friendly staff!! So happy to have a place with a patio in our neighborhood!! We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend! read more

The Watershed had very friendly staff and excellent customer service. The food was good and had a wide variety of drafts. Would come again.

Great food, friendly owner and staff, good beer selection. Even good bread to go with the wurst and hot dogs. The area's so lucky to have this "neighborhood" spot, but it's worth the drive from any neighborhood to get Watershed's great German food. Home made fries would make this place perfect. read more

Perfect neighborhood bar. Great for kids, food is good, servers are nice, and patio is comfortable. It also has a really great beer selection. It's just a really nice spot. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Love the food and love the staff but my only complaint is that they do not have the NFL Network. There are too many televisions in here.....always showing sports....to not have the NFL Network so that I can watch Thursday night games here. read more

Really great wings and an impressive draft beer selection as well. The staff is great and the place is locally owned. They have an open kitchen which is pretty cool, so you can see the chefs as they prepare your order. read more

Waited 20 minutes for a dessert to arrive. The danish it's self ain't very good with just a few apples on it. Very disappointing.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. I wanted some fried cod so I decided to try it. The food was horrible. All I ordered was the fried cod and fries (simple). The fries were on the burnt side. It tasted like the fish and the fries were cook in the same grease and the grease was old burnt grease. The fish was over battered with cornstarch and you could taste more batter than fish, plus it was under seasoned and had a bland taste. Either the fish or the tarter sauce had an after taste. This plate was $16.00 but should have been around the $8.49 price range. The portion size of the fries were small. Maybe they need to consider using smaller serving plates. The presentation was horrible. When I looked at it, I didn't immediately think "I can't wait to eat this." It was more like "umm this isn't going to be good." The staff was nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was not (outside). And the inside looked nice. But i would only recommend this place if your wanted to drink beer only. DO NOT COME FOR THE FOOD. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. read more

Watershed - Fish and chips (cod and fries) $16.00 so not worth it! - German Near Me - Houston, Texas

Great beer list. Good food. I just moved to this side of town and this is the first good beer place I have found. My wife likes the food better than Kong's beer house in the heights. read more

Just what our neighborhood needed! The food is fantastic -- fresh, simple, delicious, quality. The ambiance is casual, sometimes noisy, with concrete and an open floorpan. I especially love the beet salad, Brussels sprouts side salad, and reuben. read more

Have wanted a good rueben sandwich for quite a while. Finally ordered one today for me and my husband. I was very disappointed. I love the rueben for the sauerkraut and we had to check to see if there was any on the sandwich because we couldn't even taste it and the whole sandwich was very dry. The bread was over cooked and not enough kraut or sauce. We each only ate 1/2. read more

Just wanted to let y'all know, the service here is amazing. My family took their sweet time ordering and Erin stayed extremely patient and kept her positive attitude the whole time. Once we got to the table, Andrew took over and I didn't have to ask for anything again. Food was good beer was good. read more

All the food was amazing, customer service was great the girl behind the counter/bar took great care of us and the manager/owner(?) was also very friendly. It was a bit busy tonight because of a school fundraiser so the food was a little longer than it probably should have been but it came out hot and everything was delicious. They were super apologetic and really did their best I believe. The fish and chips were awesome, sausage sampler, hamburger, and the packed fries. read more

Not sure why we waited so long to try it. Best draft beer selection in the area and the food was amazing. One of the best pretzels I've had (get the beer cheese), fries are amazing and burgers and sandwiches are all delicious. read more

What a disappointment. First of all the portions are really small considering the money. The food was fair at best. Think we'll pass next time. read more
