She can't use salt because her doctor cautioned against it. Terry said he would be by her house on his way out to Elgin the other day, and never showed. She waited around for hours for him to show up, not wanting to move away from the phone, even though she had grocery shopping to do, mail to get, outside cats to feed, etc. Not fun when you're that old. Don't call unless you want to be left waiting around for a long time. A+ is a misnomer. More like a D or an F, based on service. Amazing how the 2 other reviews for this place are from Yelpers with no other reviews, no profile pictures, or anything else. I smell a rat.

American Eagle Plumbing to the rescue! We had an amazing experience working with them. They were able to help us right away, no waiting for weeks or up charge for immediacy. A true local, mom and pop company with human values. We're a younger couple with not a lot of emergency money to work with for when something big goes out and they were willing to work with us on payment and being able to pay in cash for a lower rate. We never felt like we were being taking advantage of or tricked into anything. I've seen a few reviews about the long time that they were at their residence, but that was reassuring to me! They made sure the job was completely done perfectly. My husband and I both still work from home and we barely heard a peep. The work was done a few months ago and we have had zero future issues with our new water heater and water softener they helped install. I'm so grateful to them! Having to do big repairs or replacements in your home can be daunting, stressful, and expensive and we will continue to call American Eagle Plumbing in the future for our home and have recommended to our neighbors in Hutto as well. A few days after their work they sent us cookies from the local Tiff Treats! We were completely surprised and it was so heartwarming. These days working with businesses can feel like a manipulative game; hire American Eagle Plumbing and you will get kindness and be made to feel like a family or friend. Highly recommend!

Working with S&D was the best decision, one I made at a time when I was wondering how I would find…read morea plumbing company that was both competent and trustworthy. S&D restored my faith. I can't say enough about the work they did and the class with which they did it. I want to shout out Ryan, who came out and listened to my entire story patiently. How we had a clog, it was supposedly fixed by one company, but then clogged up again a few days later. How we had another company tell us that not only is our main line to the street clogged by a tree root that grew into it, but that we needed to go into all of the house pipes, tear up our entire front yard, and it would cost $43K+ (they sent us an invoice). How this large company had my wife and me totally shaken... and how we were hoping they were trying to scam us and it wasn't necessary. Ryan did his own inspection and quickly told us the house pipes were fine. There were no breaks in the house. He even offered to talk to my cousin, a plumber in MA, to explain everything to him. He was patient, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. We had a spot repair done the following week, where Matt came out as well to do the work with Ryan. Matt was also really helpful, friendly and informative. They didn't try to sell me on other stuff. They were efficient and clear in everything they did. S&D made it obvious that they are looking at this as a long term customer-focused relationship, not a quick and unnecessary job to take your money. Finally, Krysten in the office was also really friendly and helpful throughout the process of scheduling and paying. The last thing I will note is to BE CAREFUL with who you trust, especially among the big companies that have a goal to SELL SELL SELL, and will make what requires a smaller fix into a massive project. A potential financially life-altering project. There are real scam artists working for big plumbing companies. They lied to me over and over, then shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and sent me an invoice. My advice is to go with S&D. I am so glad I did.
