He showed up right on time to install our system, did meticulous work and walked me through every aspect of his work and our new system. Two weeks later, he told he'd come, but didn't. Called him the following week. Few days later and few follow-ups, he said he'd come on Juneteenth day. I had already planned for a 5 day vacation starting on Juneteenth and that day didn't work for me. It's been over 5 weeks now and we are using bottled water for drinking. In my case, Tim's response often was "people have been waiting for 2-3 months, it's only a few weeks for you"!!

I spoke with Miguel at Pure Water and explained to him what was going on. Later that same evening Miguel showed up at my house to check the hot water heater out. Then he went over everything that was needed to get a new heater installed. Miguel connected a new beverage faucet to a Reverse Osmosis System we have. Miguel was very knowledgeable and charged a fair price for the work. He was also very courteous and made some suggestions how to operate our system. As a side note, I had a plumber I have worked with a for a couple of years and when I explained the work I needed done, he said he had never worked with my type of faucet RO system (non-airgap) and didn't know anything about it. I found Miguel through Yelp and he quickly responded and knew exactly the type of system I had and said he could do the work. He came 2 days later and got the work done in less than an hour. I typically like to keep my good contractors to myself but Miguel and his son started their own business a year ago after working for other plumbing companies for 21+ years. Less than two years ago, George installed a water filtration system in my home. He was friendly and…read moreseemed trustworthy at the time. However, from the start, there were issues: he wasn't able to filter all my water lines. My laundry room and guest bathroom were left unfiltered, which was disappointing, but I accepted it. About 2-3 weeks ago, my house flooded. I discovered that George had tied into my water line in a highly unusual and unsafe way, using four SharkBite fittings -- which are intended only for temporary fixes. The leak occurred under my water heater, allowing water to flow into my master bedroom and flood the entire room. As a result, I've spent over $1,000 repairing plumbing and replacing my carpet. On top of that, I spent an entire Saturday night vacuuming water and tearing out the padding under my carpet to minimize damage. I have attempted to contact George multiple times to see how he can help rectify this situation, but he has not returned any of my messages. I want to warn others: George may be personable, but his installation work is unprofessional. If something goes wrong, don't expect him to take responsibility.
