We hired project manager Al of Exodus Construction and Remodeling to update the original backyard pool. From day one, Al was there answering questions and adding ideas. As first time pool owners we appreciated his expertise. His timeline, explanations and regular visits were very helpful as we went through demo of pool and the cement patio. The various crews he employed for each step provided quality construction and cleaned up their worksites when completed. With Al's guidance and encouragement we felt very comfortable during the process. We decided to add a spa, resurfaced both pool and spa with micro pebbles, added pavers to the patio, and had a patio cover built. Al's project manager's assistant Eli was very helpful when Al could not be there. We highly recommend Exodus Construction. FIVE stars!!

Unlike others who simply came, took a few notes, made some measurements, and gave us vague (and often outrageous) estimates, Mr. Gusto took the time to truly listen to what we wanted. He came prepared--not only with professionalism but also with ideas, thoughtful suggestions, and a genuine desire to help us realize our vision. His communication, insight, and customer service far exceeded our expectations. What impressed us most was how upfront and honest Mr. Gusto was throughout the process. He treats his clients with care and respect, and it shows in every aspect of his work. His team was equally impressive--especially his right-hand man, Mr. Dimitrio, who was incredibly accommodating and attentive to every request. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and detail-oriented. The transformation of our courtyard speaks for itself. The before-and-after photos showcase the quality, craftsmanship, and heart Exodus puts into every project--big or small. Thanks to Mr. Gusto and his team, our once plain space is now a functional, beautiful area we're proud to share with friends, family, and neighbors. We highly recommend Exodus Construction and Remodeling under the care and supervision of Mr. Gusto. If you're looking for a team that truly values your vision and executes it with excellence--look no further

Most were good , some not in regard to price and effectiveness of repairs. About 10 years ago I saw David's truck out front of a neighbor's home. I gave him a call to set up an appointment. He came over and told me exactly what the problem was, the price and when he was available. His price was competitive and lower than others I had used in the past. Over the years he has provided professional, quality and technical service. Once I had a variety of problems he walked me through which I should fix first then perhaps wait on the others. In the end he fixed it completely. He's a patient listener, kind and extremely knowledgeable due to his long years of experience. He schooled me as to which chemicals to buy to maintain my spa. I most recently saw that my spa was leaking. I called him and he came right over the next day. Of course the spa was suddenly completely dry and showed no leaks. He had me fill the tub to its proper level of water. Suddenly it started leaking. He located the problem and fixed it I very highly recommend David for any of your spa needs.

His professionalism, expertise, level of customer service, rates just all around great person and service to be in business with. To start I had a horribly dirty pool (and I mean horribly dirty, so bad the I'm surprised the state didn't fine us for having a basic swamp in my backyard) and I hired him to clean it up after he said that he could 100% do the job. he couldn't get my filter going so we decided to drain the pool after he poured chemicals already and I felt bad but at the same time he didn't try to start the filter first so I feel like it's more on him that he waisted the chemicals. He left his pump at my house for about 4-5 days where it was half broken and I was having to adjust it a lot to get it to drain while putting weights on the cord to have it at a certain angle or it would stop. He wouldn't come to the property everyday to check and at one point the filter was running off my electricity for over a whole day while it wasn't draining water because I couldn't be at the house to move it around and/or he didn't show up. I asked him to power wash the walls and there were horrible stains left on them after he pressured washed the walls, he told me he'd send photos of it completed which he didn't and texted me two days later asking for payment after no communication or confirmation that I was happy with the results. he said would be between $300-$700 to clean the stains because they needed an acid wash and I was really upset with that because he told me he would be able to handle it. I wouldn't be upset with that if the stains didn't come from his horrible quality pump stopping and the water sitting there causing the stains. He caused the staining and then tried to charge me between $300-$700 to even fix the issue his pump caused. Then he lost my pool net that was a high quality and expensive net and only offered me a $15 discount. I was extremely upset and didn't want to pay him for the other half of work he did because I had to do a lot of it. I took a chance on a small business owner because I myself am a small business owner which is completely my fault. I got quoted the same amount by a much bigger company to do the same thing and I regret not going with them because of the horrible quality I got. He also didn't text me back sometimes and that was stressful to deal with. If you have a huge pool project like mine was I suggest going with a larger company. I put a lot of thought into giving one or two stars. I chose two stars because I sympathize that this was a big job and he probably bit off a lot more than he could chew but his communication skills need work and he needs a pump that works. He also left a piece of the pump that broke off on the cement in my backyard.
