This person did some work at my neighbor's house and hit my vehicle which was parked in front of my house. They have given me the run around for several months. All I wanted was the $250 deductible my car insurance charges for hit and run accidents. I finally found a neighbor with cctv footage of the truck backing into my car. I'll finally be able to move forward with getting my car fixed. It's going to cost this man much more than the original $250. I had a part of my wall that had fallen due to the heavy winds in January 2021. Jeff, the owner was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. He returned phone calls, explained to me what he would do and let tell you, they no longer made the size block that our wall was made, so Jeff assured me that since there wasn't to much damage done to our blocks he could make it work. He and his crew Kevin and Juan did a fabulous job. They worked hard, cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. You won't be sorry! I'll prefix this review by saying I'm one who tries to do all my own work and am usually disappointed any time I hire a contractor. I also never feel compelled to leave a review good or bad. My wife and I wanted to replace all our failing concrete patios and walkways with pavers in both the front and backyard. This project was so big we had no choice, I had to hire someone. We called a handful of companies for estimates and Arellano was not the cheapest but Jeff spent a lot of time at our first meeting making sure all his measurements were spot on and he asked a lot of questions. Jeff's attention left us confident in the company and thinking that even though his estimate was higher at least he probably wouldn't be surprising us with additional costs as the project unfolded. Turns out that was spot on as his estimate stayed totally accurate though out the very large project. Once the work started the team was here hard at work every day and it felt like they were all totally focused on this one job. The true star of the crew was the foreman Kevin, every day he would show us the progress and was more than willing to make any adjustments along the way. In the end the job came out great in large part thanks to Kevin's eye for detail, which is appreciated in someone who normally does his own work. Our fireplace was mid 1970s brick with a brick hearth. We brought Jeff in, along with his assistants Kevin and Poncho. After they demo'd the brick, a beautiful natural stone veneer and hearth were installed. During the veneer installation, the also installed an alder wood mantle (custom built by @kyledowding, 805-630-4715). Jeff met all time and material goals that were agreed to. I was recommended to Jeff by 2 different individuals but hesitant as in the past it didn't work out so well. I met with Jeff probably 2 times to understand how the front yard planter would be built. He explained the process of how he builds the planter. I was impressed because my vision on the planter build was different from his but his made more sense (keep water away from the house). During a whole-house renovation project, I was having trouble finding a stone mason on short notice to install stone veneer on my fireplace. Jeff was able to fit me in between jobs, which I really appreciated. He brought a crew and they knocked out my project in under two days. His crew was skilled in shaping each and every stone to fit.
