Victor, his son Chris, and their team were a joy to work with. They didn't leave one small detail undone. Their work is impeccable! They were on time every day and worked within my budget. I had several estimates, and I'm so grateful I went with their company. My backyard has gorgeous pavers, and I can't wait to furnish it and start enjoying it. I will be sure to hire them again and again.

Had Pineda Masonry build a retaining wall for vegetable plants. Great work, reliable , professional and will definitely use their services again.

Victor is a super nice guy who pays attention to detail. He helped steer us in the right direction on many occasions. He knows his craft really well. He and his crew are polite and really good at what they do. They work hard too! I would recommend Pineda Masonry, Inc. to anyone looking to do work on their property.

What can I say more than working with these artisans has been a first class experience all the way! Partnering with pineda's masonry has been a pleasure, we had them completely remove a 30-year-old brick patio that was destroyed by tree roots as well as an uneven walkway on the side of our house and the front of our house. They also tore out an old crumbled asphalt driveway in front of our garage. Victor and his crew installed beautiful interlocking pavers that are now picture perfect and it has completely transformed the exterior of our home into a showpiece. There were some challenges with strange concrete, curbs a tree in the middle of our backyard that had created a lot of surface roots that need to be managed as well as some other small issues. What sets this company apart is the professionalism and urgency with which they responded to communicating and resolving these issues to the utmost standard of quality. I highly recommend these artists who can do amazing things with masonry. Their quote was a little more than some of their competitors, but the quality is so worth it and the results speak for themselves.

We are very happy with the work that we received

He took the time to carefully inspect everything- from the pool itself and all of the equipment to the surrounding concrete and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. His inspection report was incredibly detailed and well organized. What we appreciated most was that he helped us prioritize the repairs, letting us know what should be addressed right away and what could reasonably wait until after we move in. That gave us so much peace of mind and made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming. Ted was knowledgeable, patient and honest. He also provided pricing for the recommended repairs. Thanks to his expertise, we feel much more confident moving forward with our new home. We highly recommend Beck's Pools and Ted to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thorough pool inspection!

UPDATE to Jainie Y. review…read more Beck's response confirms two things for us. First, their crew removed and reinstalled both light fixtures during the remodel. Two working lights went into their hands. Two damaged lights came back. That is the first time they have acknowledged handling the lights, and it is exactly the window in which both lost the same color. Second, they confirm the pool was redone twice and the spa three times, then list the redos and reimbursements as generosity. Those redos corrected their own installation errors. A pool contractor would know that redoing defective work and repaying costs your own errors created is not a favor. It is the contractor's obligation. But knowing that would require actually doing the construction, which, as Beck confirms, someone else did. And none of it compensated us for the weeks of lost pool use, the broken lights, or the stress of a summer spent as a work site. The reimbursements covered their errors' costs. Nothing covered ours. As for our comment that the pool 'looked great': that was politeness and relief during a stressful process, said while we were still trying to get outstanding issues addressed. It was not an endorsement of flawless work. We are still noticing minor finishing issues, alongside the major defect we have since discovered. Being polite during a difficult project does not mean we were satisfied or that we waived our right to proper workmanship. And the core issue their response avoids remains: 100% of the project was outsourced to an undisclosed, lower-rated subcontractor we never agreed to. Nothing in their response offers any explanation for how two working lights failed identically while in their care.

I did not have a great experience with EHD Builders, whom I hired to redo the coping around my pool…read moreand stain my outdoor bar area. I hired them because they had great reviews, despite being pricier than some of the other estimates I received. Once the project commenced, there were significant delays at the beginning of the project because the supplier was out of the prefabricated coping that I selected. We opted instead to have a subcontractor pour the cement. The result was coping that is the wrong color from what I selected and has already began cracking. I wanted the pool coping to match the bar area. Instead, I have a pink/grey coping around my pool that clashes with my brown/gold bar and the other areas in my backyard with cement that is also brownish gold. The color mismatch is on top of the fact that they damaged some of the tile around the pool and replaced it with tile that did not match. To add insult to injury, the bar was also not stained properly and EHD accused me of cleaning it with harsh chemicals and ruining the finish. Ultimately, EHD agreed to have the subcontractor restain the bar after I sent photos showing that the bar had been used by the workmen tasked with pouring the cement to eat their lunch. To be clear, there were no harsh chemicals used to clean the bar, but the fact that I (the owner) was accused of damaging the bar as opposed to them taking ownership of the fact that the stain looked terrible was characteristic of my dealings with them. Even after the restaining, the surface of the bar now has a white cast and uneven stain throughout. Finally, they broke the bolts on my diving board when they removed it to lay the cement around the pool. When they realized their error, they claimed that the bolts broke after they tried to reinstall the board because the bolts were rusted. Of course, I had photos showing that the bolts were broken when the board was uninstalled initially, so they agreed that they would order new bolts to install the diving board. They never did. In the end, the company refused to fix their errors. I had to hire someone else to reinstall my diving board and I will have to pay additional expenses to have someone come out to fix my coping, which doesn't match any of the other concrete in my backyard. I reached out one last time to give them an opportunity to fix this issue. Their response was that the color of the cement (a pinkish gray) was the color that I picked out (autumn gold) and they offered me a discount on the remainder of the payment due. So to be clear - they ruined my backyard, and instead of refunding my money, requested additional payment for work that doesn't meet professional standards and is contrary to what I hired them to do. The poor workmanship, the gaslighting, the lying...If I could give zero stars, I would.
