I had 2 mid-range watches. One with a dog-chewed band and another with a dead battery. They offer battery warranty where you can get a 2 or 4 year warranty depending on what you want to pay. They internally mark the battery and log your repair so that even if you don't have the receipt, they'll have a way to confirm your warranty should something go wrong. While I could have purchased a cheap watch for the price of the battery, I really am attached to this one and was happy to have it back. The watch that needed the band was replaced with some awesome ingenuity. They custom cut and fit an after-market band to fit the bezel on my watch. It came out amazing! A little craftsmanship, right there. Now I could wear my perpetual time watch again. 2 days later, I was wearing the watch and my car hatch hit my wrist, broke the watch off my wrist at the band pin, and slammed it to the ground. The watch was unscratched, but the perpetual pendulum seized up. I took it back to Watch Solutions and they freed up the pendulum for no charge! Once you're a customer, they take care of you. I'll be back and highly recommend investing in any establishment that appreciates return business. read more

I took my chances to get a battery change for my Omega watch and I started to have problems the crown on my watch and the watch was not keeping time the way it should. I took it back to have the battery looked at and he told me it wasn't the battery and all of the sudden the crown couldn't move the hands on the watch! Dishonest business. If you are looking for pre-owned, they have a small selection of those items too! The customer service was top notch and with a smile. Warning, this is long, but I just need to get this out. My visit started out great and I wish that it ended that way, but it did not. I came in with my husband to get some extra links for his two watches. Mariam helped us and she was amazing! She answered all our questions and got us in and out efficiently, and with excellent customer service!!!! After about two weeks she called to say that our order was ready. I dropped my son off at soccer practice and ran over to pick up the links. I came in and there was only one employee, Danny, and two other ladies browsing together. Danny walked over and helped me. I couldn't find my receipt at first, and asked the him if he could look me up. He said he couldn't and needed my receipt to find the links. Ok, I understood and thankfully found my receipt. I let him know up front that I was in a bit of a hurry because I had to go pick up my son. He said he would be quick. He was everything but quick! After taking my payment, he went behind the counter to put the links on. I reminded him again that I was in a hurry and asked if this would take long so I could just drop it off and come back later. He said it wouldn't, and he would do it right away. He only sat down for a min and the ladies browsing asked if he would be awhile because they wanted to look at something. He says, sure what would you like to see? I think to myself, what?!?! Then he walks over and helps them. I figured if it was quick I could understand, but he wasn't. He began to show them 5-6 other watches in various cabinets. After 10 min he goes over to the phone and begins calling around for them. I couldn't believe it! Finally, I asked him why he told me he was going to do it right away and then walk away to help someone else AFTER he got my payment. His response was that they were in here first. They were just browsing by the way, not asking for help or anything else. He began to argue back and it wasn't until the nice ladies heard me that they said they wouldn't have minded waiting. Then as he sits down to work on the watch, he says it's going to be awhile because it didn't come with pins..as if that was my fault. It ended with me NOT getting both my watches because he couldn't even put the links on. Now I have to go back. It's service like this where businesses loose customers! Next time, I'll go to the watch place across the way. read more

So I needed my Movado watched repaired and took it to Watch Solutions because that is where I usually go to get new batteries. It wasn't the battery and it ended up being a coil where they had to keep it for 2 weeks. I don't care how long they had it because I wanted it fixed right. I went to pick it up today and although it was fixed, it was left dirty, like they couldn't even buff it out a little or take a toothbrush and some cleaner to it. When I asked why it was left so dirty, Danny said they just do the repair and don't do anything extra to clean it. If I wanted it polished, it would cost an extra $100.00. What ??? He wanted to charge me that much to run it on a buffer? My repair was $135.00 so I think just cleaning it up a little bit wouldn't have been that big a deal considering they had it for over 2 weeks. Anyways don't expect to get your stuff back clean and so I came home and used a polishing cloth and wow wee just like that in about 5 mins it was cleaned up. I wasn't expecting perfection, just a little common courtesy and pride in their work. I'm bummed that I have to find a new place because this one left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Dropped a watch off for a simple battery change in a high quality watch that always worked. Came back 30 min later and the watch ran for 20 min after she replaced the battery. Charged my card and looked at watch which was not running now for 5 minutes. Asked for a different new battery and she refused to sell me another new one even when I said I'd purchase another one and also refused to give me my old battery back. She handed me someone else's dead battery. She claimed after 30 minutes she no longer had my battery. Her attitude was terrible and wanted me to leave after charging my card and refusing to sell me a new battery or replace my old one. Indian woman was at the cashier. Total ripoff. Your typical mall watch repair shop. They sell low-level watches like Casio, Citizen, and the like. There's a big difference in inventory at Ben Bridge and Watch Solutions. Think Bloomingdale's when you think of Ben Bridge, and think Sears when you think Watch Solutions. However, they also repair watches. I recently had batteries repaired for two separate watches. The batteries come with 1, 2, or 3 year warranties. Since I'm probably not going to be living in the area within the year, I stuck with the 1 year warranty. It's fairly affordable at $15, but the price may vary depending on the watch. I had a D & G and a Kenneth Cole, respectively. Now, if you have a fine watch, you should probably take it to the store you purchased it. If that's out of the question, you should take it to Ben Bridge. You will pay extra, but they'll have knowledge of your timepiece because they sell fine timepieces. I know you're probably asking yourself, "Isn't D & G high end?" Not when it comes to watches, so feel free to take your low to mid-level watch to Watch Solutions. They'll appreciate the business... read more

Super impressed with their honesty. I went in fully expecting to pay several hundred dollars to fix a watch. The watchmaker took a look at my watch, did a few free adjustments to fix the issue and then told me he didn't think it needed anything else done to it. Stopped in to get a watch battery last weekend and wasn't disappointed. The watch was a gift and I had no idea how to set it or use it. Turns out the man working was wearing the same (male version) watch so he replaced the battery, set it and told me a little about all it's cool features. We discussed how ours are both limited editions, and what number ours are. Of course you expect someone to be knowledgeable on watches when you come here, but given how few of these watches there are, it was cool that he was so incredibly informative and helped me get it set so that I can enjoy it. read more

Went here the other day to get my wife's birthday present sized. We were referred by Ben Bridge (apparently they don't like working on Tag Heuer), so we walked the extra 30 steps in the mall and found Watch Solutions. Our sales associate took 15 mins to size it...we came back and it was still a little too big. Her wrist is right in between link sizes, so she re-sized it for us while we waited.
