It's the right thing to do. I came there for a battery repair and got out with a broken watch. I was just here last weekend to get my Aquaracer's battery replaced. When I came back, my watch's crown is already detached from the watch. The employee changing the batteries was telling me that it's broken as if it already was broken to begin with. Absolutely not. Initially, she was saying that the crown was too tight and that there were resins present. And then she changed that statement to: she only opened the back to change the battery. She didn't touch the crown. But didn't she just say earlier that the crown was too tight? Also, please tell me WHY the date that was originally set to the 6th (the correct date) was on the 13th when I came back. Which means the crown was fine because she was able to turn it to change the date until she broke it. I was still able to adjust the date and time earlier that day. Now the crown is completely detached. It just falls to the side. It won't even stick to the watch. When I saw my watch, I just felt like crying. It was my late grandfather's gift to me. I felt like $65 was too much for a battery, but I was thinking, as long as my watch is safe it's okay. Well it's not. My original worst fear was the back case getting scratched, but it came out worse. My watch is broken. What's even worse is that the employee showed absolutely no remorse, no accountability, tried twisting her words so many times. SO YES, do review your CCTV because if it actually shows you working on my watch, it will show the truth. The employee was asking me to leave my watch there because the technician was off that day and that it will be looked at first thing in the morning. I said I there's no way I'm leaving my watch there and that I'm not paying for any repairs. She replied okay and that she will just take out the battery that she had already put in. OH WOW. After ruining my perfectly working watch, she even had the audacity to say that. Their services are not cheap. The least they could do is hire competent people to care for other people's watches. Also, if that employee was not sure about what she's doing, she shouldn't have touched my watch. They even told me that they deal with aquaracers on a regular basis. I don't think there's an ounce of truth to this. If they do, this wouldn't have happened. Anyway, another girl stepped in and said that I can bring my watch back the next day and they will fix it free of charge. I brought my watch there because I thought that the business was reputable. I was wrong. I brought my watch to the Tag heuer boutique that same day because there is absolutely no way I'm letting them "fix" my watch. I will post an update once the diagnosis is done and once the price estimate for the repair is emailed to me. The manager said that it will take a few weeks since their repair center is in a different state. I will be emailing you the invoice that Tag Heuer sends me. I hope that you at least cover the expenses. If I can give a negative score, I would.

It came with an appraisal stating a value of $14,000. Shortly after, I returned to have the ring resized and was told they also buy gold and jewelry. I brought in additional items and was given store credit. Later, I returned to use the remaining credit and was told by the owner that I had no credit left and would have to pay again. There was no clear record provided, no transparency, and no effort to resolve the discrepancy. I was essentially told the credit didn't exist anymore, and I had no documentation to challenge it at the time. In 2026, I scheduled an appointment to sell the same ring back to them. I clearly stated on the phone that I was bringing in a ring originally purchased from their store. When I arrived, they inspected it along with the appraisal, then told me they were not buying diamonds due to market conditions and lab-grown diamonds affecting resale value. This should have been communicated when I made the appointment. Instead, I wasted time going in for a meeting that should never have been scheduled. Overall, my experience with this business has been inconsistent, poorly communicated, and unprofessional. While they do carry attractive jewelry, I personally do not trust their business practices or transparency.

The finish was rough and did not reflect quality craftsmanship. She returned to the store to address the issue directly. Explained her concerns and showed the problem areas. She was told the work looked "fine" and were offered a redo of the solder. At that point, she declined further work because we no longer had confidence that the issue would be corrected properly. She also sought a second opinion from another jeweler who advised against having it repaired there again. They also said we should get our money back since we weren't happy with the service. Alexander's only offered to redo even though I'd cost the same amount if not more to redo it. No refund no store credit. Would recommend taking your jewelry elsewhere.

Many others need to send out my watch to change the band and it can take one to two weeks. I was asked if I would like my jewelry, that I was wearing, polished. Yes, thank you, so I took off my earrings, my rings and my bracelet and handed it to them along with my watch and my new band that I had ordered directly from the manufacturer of my watch. I was invited to sit down and asked if I would like anything, I replied yes, thank you, I'd like a cup of coffee. I sat at the high top counter drank a delicious cup of coffee with cream and sugar and had a wonderful jewelry conversation with the sales person that made my coffee. It felt like a ladies luxurious lunch. Everything was shortly returned all very shiny. It was a delightful mid afternoon treat except for the fact that I did not buy a beautiful sapphire ring that I saw. Consider treating yourself and look at the jewels.

Moreover, the crystal was scratched and I wanted it replaced. Mo, the honest and meticulous business owner he is didn't recomend the latter because it would interfere with the aesthetics of the watch. I went through with inspection and repair and declined replacing the crystal based on his recomendation. The watch came back in perfect functional capacity. Ironically, I bought my grail shortly thereafter so I don't even wear the Tag anymore, but I will have it serviced with Mo and not at Rolex in the future.
