We have drove by this place numerous times always been packed we drove by one day hard everybody there decided to pull in and eat great choice. The food was excellent. The waitress was very nice and the place is way cool if you're ever in the neighborhood you should check this place out. :))))

We ended up here last night for V-day. The place was packed but we had reservations. It seemed a little unorganized at first and many walk in got turned away due to other reservations but many tables never even showed up so that was unfortunate for the restaurant. We went for prime rib and everyone raved about how fantastic it was as well as the chicken Marsala. 3 of us got the herbed lemon chicken and although it was good it was very plain. I'd love to see a lemon and caper sauce on that and I'd be back weekly!! The entrees come with a lot of food and at their price point a tremendously great deal!! Laurie our server was great and most of all put up with smart a-- husband!! We will definitely be going back!

What a fun atmosphere! We found this hidden gem online and decided to give it a shot. We were sat right away and greeted by friendly staff. The place was everything we wanted; eccentric, warm and FUN! Food was good, although I would disagree that it's homemade. Know what you're getting into, this is a dive bar that also serves a mediocre breakfast.

When you walk in, you are in the bar area, though there are a few tables. It's seat yourself, and the waitstaff will come find you. There are quite a few larger tables in the other rooms. I was waited on fairly quickly, and the food was brought out pretty quickly as well. I ordered the ribeye and a side salad. The salad was a bit small, though a good Italian dressing. The ribeye was well cooked, and was accompanied by seasoned mixed vegetables and a baked potato. For the price, it wasn't as good as one would expect. It was fine.

We here for breakfast this morning. I had Eggs Benedict and my husband had Ham & Eggs. My Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly with a decent amount of Ham. My husband enjoyed his as well. However we gobbled it down so fast I forgot to get a picture... The service was great. This is an old Bar and restaurant, just the kind of place we like! Lots of locals and that's always a good sign!

Honestly never had a bad time here, even the 1st time my Father brought me here at 21 then he had 1 too many and was asked to leave. lol! I guess maybe you had to be there. I go here when I'm in the mood for a more laidback bar, bar experience. The food is always great and so are the drinks. It's on the smaller side but theres a large bar and plenty of tables along the outer side by the windows. My favorite part is the dollars on the ceiling. I put one up my first time there and another just last month to memorialize my soul dog who had passed away. There's so many old dollars, little notes and business cards on the ceiling it's always fun to look up and see the ones you are sitting by.

We went twice while in the area. Once at lunch-but we shared apps and once for breakfast. Liked the apps, the garlic oysters had a lot of flavor (much better than the bbq ones. Had too much sauce on them). The artichoke dip was really tasty, with I think house made chips. The breakfast was enjoyable, I tried the French toast with eggs, bacon and hash browns. French toast was pretty good. Hash browns could've been a little crispier for me. My partner had the chorizo breakfast skillet and it was a big portion and flavorful. Ordered Bloody Mary's, they were ok, I like mine a little more spicy. Service was good too. Nice waitress waited on us both visits. The locals all hang out in the bar, it's a popular spot. Want to try dinner next time we're in town.

We were going to order only 1 churro but the server offered that the churros are gluten free so we ordered two orders! The menu doesn't say this, so FYI. They were one of the best potato preparations I've ever had. Shockingly fluffy and light inside literally like a potato cloud. Maybe the cheese helps with this? I don't know but get them. Salad was good, nice mix of greens. A little wet for my taste if I'm choosing but I'm also not complaining, it was yummy. The potatoes were a perfect dish to come with the salad since otherwise it didn't have a crunch element. This is the first time I've gotten the collar and it was as meaty as it is. I've ordered at other restaurants before and it was not as successful of a dish as here. Loved the sauce and flavors on it. It was kinda sticky due to the sauce but I mean that in a good way, to add to the flavor and overall balance of texture and flavor The snapper lettuce wraps were also yummy! Kind of laborious to get the fish to eat ready but worth the effort, same with the collar too, but also worth the "work" to get the meat off the bones. The snapper has a lot of pin bones but otherwise really yummy bite. The rock wall in the alley creates a whole vibe with the lights and such. It is also one of the oldest walls in Petaluma, which is pretty cool. Slim menu but excellent. The restaurant is tiny, like 6 tables. Being on the patio was nice, more room. Our meal split 4 ways was delicious and filling but also light and sat well in our bellies. I'd absolutely come back again.

The music-themed decor on the walls added a bit of character to the space. We sat ourselves at a table, grabbed a menu we saw sitting near the bar at the center of the venue, and found an employee walking around to place our food order. He was friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready which was kinda long, but after trying our dishes, it was totally worth the wait. The potato skins were like mini loaded baked potatoes, but fluffier and easier to eat. It was super cheesy and tastier than I expected, especially with the ranch and sour cream that came on the side. The classic pot pie was a large dish and quite filling, with plenty of sizable chunks of chicken and veggies mixed together nicely in a thick and flavorful roux. Not to mention the flaky buttery crust on top. Wow, I really liked this. And my bf finished every last bite of his grilled salmon dish, no complaints. The lemon drop cocktail was yummy, just the right sweetness and a good amount of alcohol without ruining the flavor. All in all, we had a 5-star experience at Torches and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The portions are huge. It's not easy running a restaurant these days, I know the owner works her tail off. Staffing is difficult everywhere but Torches manages and even opens for lunches! The prices are more than fair for the generous portions. I hope the community continues to support this family owned restaurant as much as this restaurant continues supporting the community. I know I'll be back!

I had a wonderful meal at Table Culture Provisions last night. The chef and team (shout out to the…read morepastry chef) are clearly talented and there's a lot to like here, with room for growth. Hits: - Excellent preparation and presentation of high-quality food. Favorites included the oxtail pasta, red snapper with a wonderfully crisp skin, and the chocolate lovers' dessert. - Friendly and gracious rotating service, attentive without being obtrusive. - Cozy dining space with charming ambiance. - Both non-alcoholic cocktails I had were excellent (apple and beet). Misses: - Some of the courses fell flat or were underwhelming, notably the mushroom lover starter which, while very clean and fresh, was simply good, and the liberty duck course. I've had perhaps a dozen preparations of liberty duck and this version fell in the bottom half. - Tiny portions leave diners potentially leaving hungry. For instance, the otherwise excellent oxtail pasta arrived with only three measly pieces. - Timing and synchronicity of service can seem a bit off at times, even from the get-go. It took twenty+ minutes for our first bite to arrive. TCP would be well-served to fill this time with an amuse bouche for every table. Pricing: - $110 for five courses, $145 for seven. - We paid $350, all-in, for two five-course tastings, two non-alcoholic cocktails, and one $25 glass of red wine. - This felt a bit high in comparison to say, Madcap, a Michelin one-star restaurant in San Anselmo, which offers 8 courses for $140 or 11 courses for $165 and is a superior experience. Summary: - An enjoyable meal. We would return during a different season to try again. With some improvements to service timing and pricing, TCP could truly become an even more sparkling gem.

We were had reservations and were the only ones dining that night (it was a really rainy weekend in Petaluma). We were given complimentary champagne and ordered some wine. Some highlights (if they ever make them again) was the liver mousse on macaron, mushroom deluxe puff, arancini, celery root Wellington. 7 courses at $125 (at the time) is pretty affordable and I loved it. From the starters (we arrived before 6 pm, in time for their happy hour menu) to dessert, there's little room for anything but the highest praise. Their Thick Cut Onion Rings were some of the most divine I've ever tasted. Part of me wanted to order another round as my main! Crisp and flavorful, salty, but balanced. The wood fired carrots that came at the same time were also tasty, but had a hard time competing with their fried companion dish. For our mains, I've gotten the Sweet Gems Salad more times than I care to admit - and love it every time. My friend enjoyed the Funghi pizza with foraged mushrooms. For my son's fried chicken, we should probably have asked for more gravy. It seemed a little dry, but still tasty. Then, since we almost never skip dessert, the strawberry pies were flavorful without being at all oversweetened. And their bittersweet chocolate torte is rich and always served warm. Our server, Christine, wasn't wrong to tease us about hoping we'd be back next week. She was thoughtful and attentive, without hovering, throughout the meal. In fact, the whole team did an excellent job of guiding us through our dinner, start to finish, from the greeting at the door as soon as we stepped in, to the speedy kitchen and expediter that got everything to the table at the perfect temperature. Central Market is probably my favorite culinary balance between comfort food, quality ingredients, approachable dining, with enough options and inventiveness to avoid anything from feeling pedantic or tired. The space is beautiful and open, without being too noisy to hold a conversation. I'm not sure we'll be back next week, but soon!

After spotting mouthwatering photos on Yelp, we chose Cucina Paradiso as our supper destination. Cucina Paradiso is a casual trattoria located in the heart of downtown Petaluma, on the town's main drag, Petaluma Boulevard. The restaurant welcomes guests to a relaxing dining experience where customers can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a comfortable, hospitable setting. Even on a Tuesday evening, finding parking in downtown wasn't easy, so we parked in the nearby shopping centre, River Plaza, which was about an eight-minute walk away. Our reservations were for 7 PM, but after I got held up in Fairfield, I called the restaurant to inform them that we were going to arrive late. No problem. Our arrival time was around 7:45 PM, we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile and still there was no issue with being seated immediately since most tables were unoccupied. The atmosphere of the quaint dining room was warm and hospitable. Cucina Paradiso offers old-school Italian fare, inviting guests to savour the flavours of Italy. Their diverse menu offers a nice selection of traditional pastas, flavourful mains and an extensive wine list. RIGATONI ALLA CARCERATA ($23.95) - Cielo ordered this delectable pasta. The creamy sauce, similar to vodka sauce, was worthy of licking the bowl clean, but we had to mind our manners. MEDAGLIONE DI BUE CON SALSA TARTUFATA ($42.95) - I was debating over these medallions and the fresh Halibut with capers and beurre blanc sauce ($34.95) featured on the specials of the night DINNER MENU. Our server hinted that the beef was the way to go and her suggestion was on point. This dish was hearty and the succulent meat was paired perfectly with the exquisite truffle sauce. PENNE RUSTICA ($23.95) - My hungry eyes wanted pasta, too, so I convinced Cielo to pivot our original plan of sharing a salad to ordering with me this this tube-shaped pasta. The sauce was much lighter than the one for the rigatoni. We preferred the creamier sauce, but this bowl was still very enjoyably flavourful. To complement the delicious food, Nydia's top notch customer service added to the overall experience. She was amiably engaging and extremely helpful. I almost felt like hugging her, "goodbye!" True story: After being seated at our table when we arrived, I briefly stepped outside to photograph the front of the venue for checking in on Yelp. As I was snapping the photo, a passerby asked me, "Did you just eat here or are you about to eat here?" I told him that I just arrived, had not yet eaten anything. He informed me that Cucina Paradiso is an excellent restaurant, that everything they serve is yummy. Turns out that he was right on target. Cielo and I enjoyed a delightful dinner here. I have just one complaint - that I live too far to visit on a regular basis.
