They will sell you all the bells and whistles, coatings, frames , clips ... take your money, don't call to let you know if they've come back, (if they ever do), and BS their way when after 5 weeks you call to ask where they are. I'm talking flat-out lie. By all means - get your prescription here -- it will be excellent -- then go get your lenses elsewhere.

We arrived on time, and the front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. My daughter was seen by Dr. Frank Cassella, who was excellent. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. We truly appreciated the care he provided. Unfortunately, our experience changed when we met with Cindy after the exam to discuss glasses. She came across as rude, impatient, and disrespectful. My daughter was excited to pick out her new pair of glasses, but she was understandably indecisive about which frames she liked best. Instead of being patient and helping her through the process, Cindy repeatedly interrupted her and said, "That's not telling me what frame you want," in a dismissive tone. The interaction quickly became uncomfortable for both of us. Dr. Cassella also instructed Cindy to change the nose pads on the frames my daughter already has. When I asked about having them changed, Cindy replied, "I cannot change it because that's only if you buy the glasses from us." Her tone throughout the conversation felt condescending, and she spoke loudly in a way that made us feel talked down to rather than helped. I want to emphasize that this review is not a reflection of Dr. Cassella or the front desk staff, who were both outstanding. My concern is solely with Cindy's customer service. No customer especially a child who is excited about getting new pair of glasses should be made to feel uncomfortable or pressured. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future patients have the positive experience they deserve.

The booking was friendly and painless, which cannot be said about all medical bookings! The receptionist helped us determine our insurance plan and got us our preferred appointment time slot with only a week's wait time. Arrival/check-in was noticeably nice. They took us to a back room with water and massage chairs (they are past their prime but still appreciated) and we filled out paperwork on an iPad. After that, the assistant took us back one by one for the initial test and then to see Dr Sutaria. Dr. Sutaria was thorough and pointed out things other doctors hadn't before. We also had recently been to the ophthalmologist, and she noticed the same pre-glaucoma systems the ophthalmologist noticed in my fiancé's eyes, something no one else had previously found. For me, I have quite poor eye sight, and she really honed in on variables that could give me better vision. Instead of just focusing on prescription strength, she's looking into other factors, such as contacts with more oxygen flow, tweaked astigmatism curvature and other stuff I don't really understand ;-). I am awaiting trial contacts and will be interested to see the difference. All in all, a very positive experience and a doctor's office I would recommend.
