I had to remove two massive 36 year old sycamores, each with several tall, large multiple trunks due to a prunning job done early in their growth, as well as a 30 year oak that was wedged into a backyard corner of my fence and was pressing on my deck and gazebo. I had several estimates and found that Dustin's estimate and explanations fit my budget. Pancho and his crew arrived early to set up their crane and chipper. They sized up the situation and started on time. They also had to get permission from my neighbor to move their crane onto his driveway to get at the oak. They took care to brace their rig and protect the neighbor's driveway and property. They spent all day working on site and did an excellent job of cleaning up. Pancho, after climbing and cutting all day, even blew off the roof of my house and shed. Special requests for saving specific cuts of wood for a woodworker friend were met as was cutting some firewood for me. I thought the crew was very professional. I spent all day watching them work. Their attention to the safety of each crew member, as well as my neighbors who had to drive past the work site, was outstanding. I had a number of trees that were overgrown and one dead tree that needed to be removed. I called Waraner Tree Experts for a quote as well as a number of other competitors. I selected Waraner because they were prompt and accommodating with my schedule for an appointment to quote the work, they were competitively priced, and even more prompt scheduling a crew to do the work where as some others were months out from being able to do the work. They completed the work quickly as requested with an outcome that is better than I could have expected. One tree, a very large ash over 35 feet tall, had never been properly pruned in over 15 years. They thinned and shaped it to where it's exceptional to enhancing the look of the property and house. Finally, they're invoicing system made it convenient to (gladly) pay online. have nothing but good things to say about this co. I had a very large and old tree removed after one huge branch fell onto my cottage. The crew was nothing short of amazing. 3 of my neighbors came by to comment on the job and the expert crew i chose (i'm so smart).I have a full roof of solar panals they worked over all day without a scratch, again no small feat due to the size of this tree. Price was excellant, one of my neighbors who used to be in the biz jaw literally dropped when i told him the price. What impressed me was the crews happy attitude having ran crews myself its true happy workers do better work. I got three bids for tree trimming on three trees at my house in Benicia. Waraner came in with the best price. I asked for additional work and Waraner gave my very good pricing. The work was entirely initiated over the phone and happened during my vacation. I am a very particular customer and usually have at least a few punch list items for even the best contractors but did not have any with this project. The work was done to my complete satisfaction. This was the first time I have worked with Waraner and I was very impressed. The quote Dustin provided was thorough and came in 10% ($300) below other quotes. Kim was flexible in finding a date to do the work that fit my schedule. The crew showed up on time, and did a fantastic job pruning/thinning the 7 large trees on my property. But what I appreciated the most was how thorough the crew did in cleaning up after the job - they raked leaves, picked twigs that had fallen/been cut out of shrubs, and left my yard looking great - better than when they arrive. I dealt almost exclusively with Kim, the partner owner. From the outset she was professional, polite and accommodating. Her workmen gave me a bid I thought was fair and reasonable. After setting a date to have the tree removed, I needed to change it a couple of times, which Kim very graciously handled.
