Getting your basic checkup done and prescription is fine. The optometrist listen to my concerns, what I was looking for, and advised me on possible solutions ... glasses, contacts, single eye, both eyes, progressives, readers etc. So all good there with the basics of getting a prescription. They do try to upsell you with services not covered by insurance. I have been going there for 3 years and every year the set of checkups done has been different. Not sure if they just missed the peripheral vision test this year ... didnt go through that. There were a couple other tests too that I have gone through in past years but were skipped this year. The appointment also ended abruptly. All of a sudden, while we were finalizing the prescription, I was walked to the eyeglass/frames counter. Felt very .. wham, bam, thank you m'am. Needless to say, I refused the discussion on eyeglasses/frames, paid my bill and walked out. I think I will be going somewhere else next year. read more

My daughter recently had trouble seeing her homework. I called, she asked all the right questions, yes, she's in sports, yes she had a concussion. For someone who hasn't been to the eye doctor for 20plus years, I had no idea what to expect. Luckily I stumbled across this practice. At first I picked them simply because if the amazing hours- open Saturdays and later appointments for people who work. But the quality of care was amazing. Greeted promptly, scans taken, then off with doctor for the exam. Several screeners were performed and each was thoroughly explained in layman's terms. I have 20/20 visión so no extra care was needed. However, they helped me maximize my insurance benefits so I walked out with a fancy new pair of sunglasses.
