Me and a group of friends were looking for a 24-hour Walmart after coming back to Anaheim and thank God there was one by our hotel. So many bad reviews for this place! Anyways I came in to look for a memory card for my camera and the guy at the electronics section was very helpful and nice. He ran around grabbing me different memory cards to see which one I wanted, thank you! I grabbed a couple of other things and ran to the front to check out, at first the lady who was helping me seemed really mean, but when she turned around to tell a coworker something, she turned back around and apologized to me. If only i could rate it zero stars. Before I start, I'm not one of those people who constantly gripes and complains about service. Look I get it. No one is perfect and trying to deal with hundreds of annoying humans every day has to take its toll on your soul. But my advice is, before you reach the raw and unadulterated incompetence of a wal mart vision center employee (particularly at the Westminster location) do yourself a favor and quit. Get a different job. Because no one should ever be this bad at their job. I arrived here after renewing my license at the new DMV up the street and I never thought I would say this, but I actually enjoyed my time at the DMV more than ordering contacts and inquiring about glasses. Allow me to paint you a picture. There are about 4 to 5 employees randomly darting around the room accomplishing nothing. The south has a saying that accurately describes the environment. "Four monkeys copulating with a football". Of course you need to substitute one word to get the desired effect. Anyway, there was a mother and daughter in front of me who I assume we're having the girl's eyes replaced by new technology. There is simply no other reason why that took an hour. No. Not the exam. Figuring out how to buy the contacts. I counted 8 questions that the cashier had to ask to complete the transaction. (I had nothing else to do but count. I literally read the entire Wikipedia, bible and Koran. That last book was pretty scary yo. At one point I fantasized yelling out "Dude. You do this every. Day. And you're not good at it." I thought maybe I was being a little demanding so I checked myself and began writing the great american novel. About the time I completed the trilogy, it was my turn. Imagine my surprise when she couldn't find my information by phone number, name or DNA sample. I had my prescription in the car but honestly, I'd rather boil my own gonads off with superheated pig vomit than spend another moment in that house of futility. The stares and bewildered looks of my fellow line mates (yes there was a 8 person deep line at a freaking contact lens depot) as I simply walked away calmly validated my annoyance. I lost about 3 line mates during the wait. Oh well. That's what I get for using freakin Walmart for my optical needs. I'll never ever make that mistake again. read more

Since I am no longer a Walmart employee I can freely write my reviews of different locations and not feel bad :D. This location only gets 4 stars because they have a separate center for money transactions! It isn't mixed in with returns and having to wait an eternity! I was able to cash my check within 5 minutes with privacy and not having someone breathe down my neck waiting in line! Pretty much no Walmart employee is going to be friendly except for myself. They're too suppressed/depressed and overworked. We get treated worse than stray dogs and work harder than any other cashier in retail but get paid pennies for it. I always go out of my way to be friendly with the employees no matter what even if they don't reciprocate. Overall good location ^_^ read more

My bf Joe went in there today and had a terrible experience. He brought in a battery to have tested to see if there was any warranty or proration on it. The customer service rep TARA, who helped him, looked like she was already in a bad mood. After she created a work order, she called for a manager to process the proration. While waiting for a manager, she started to complain about the manager on duty saying that they were hiding in the back and was lazy. She said this in front of him and other customers. After the manager came and processed the proration, she asked for his ID. He realized he forgot his ID and wallet at home. She then told him in a rude manner, "I don't know how you don't have your ID." That ticked him off a little and he just told her he just forgot my wallet. As he asked for his battery test results printout it seemed like she was upset because he accidentally forgot my wallet. He went home to get it and when he went back, there was a line and she was helping another customer. The phone started ringing and then she started complaining that she had a million things she was doing. Also the way she was speaking to the other customer was rude because he was disputing his work order. The other lady, whose name he forgot and the manager, were very nice and professional. As they were having a little difficulty with the computer, Tara said, "You have to create a new work order because he forgot his ID," again in a rude manner. He then told her, "You know people forget stuff sometimes," and she just smiled. Not to mention she brought up him forgetting his ID a few times in between. Thankfully the other ladies finished helping him and he was satisfied with their customer service. We also want to thank Cary for trying to help him as well. His customer service was great as well. We shop at Wal- Mart often but never had someone talk down to him with such a bad experience. Tara is lucky he is nice, because other customers will not be so nice back. If you hate your job so much there then why don't you go work where you're "not so busy"? Don't ever go here for your car tires oil change or anything else, I took my car here for 4 tires 3 weeks ago and it only 2 cars in front of me, I end up waited for 6 fucking hrs. Today I take my car back to check up on one of the tire because it leaked or dumb fuck no experience mechanic didn't due it right that I have to pump every 3 days end up waiting for over 4 fucking hours, comon speed up Walmart. So I came here specially for tire replacement and oil change. They already made it clear to me at the beginning that they don't have my tire size in stock so I have agreed to only do an oil change for today's service. After literally waiting for 3 hours. I'm increasingly persuaded that what we keep experiencing is no accident: we consistently find double-charges on our register receipt for items priced $2 or less - amounts most folks wouldn't bother returning to the store for...and even if you did return to correct it, how could you prove it after the fact? I don't buy the "register is really sensitive" excuse. This never happens on higher ticket items - just things like produce and plastic forks. This location is not our regular store (which does the double-charge thing, too) but we stopped at this Walmart on our way home and sure enough, double charged on something. Is Walmart doing this to pad sales? I dunno, but CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE, especially if your order is over 10 items. That's when it seems to occur most. This is pertain manager, Sonn, at the Return/Exchange in this Walmart location. I placed an online order, which was wrong, so I redid the order and ended up with two items for pick up for 2 different location. The 2nd order only available at the walmart in Westminster. I had to pick up the first order at Santa Ana location and drive to Westminster Walmart to pick up the 2nd order. I have read that since Walmart has a "return to any Walmart location...", I can return the 1st order and pick up my 2nd order and go home, rather than drive all the way back to Santa Ana. http://help.walmart.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/190#Store I arrived to Westminster Walmart and tried to return the item. When asked the reason for return, I told the employee, I ordered the wrong item and need to return, so I can pick up the corrected item here. The employee look at my receipt and went call manager, Sonn. This man came to the counter with my receipt in his hand and told me, I had to go back to Santa Ana to return it. Without waiting for my reply he told me to wait so he can go call security! I became enraged at how he approached me. Neither him or the employee asked me for identification and/or confirmation. Walmart has a 'no quesiton' return, which they both VIOLATED! Sonn made me stood at the return counter for about 5 mintues and came back to told me take the item back to Santa Ana to return, and that he will not let me return it here. I questioned about 'return to any Walmart policy, " which he ignored and told me that he will not let me return my item here, under his management. I also asked if he is refusing my return service and he continues ignore me, except to use his authority to stated he will not let me return my item. Without any attempt to communicate with me about the return, he exhibits discriminations towards me as though I am a thief, when he proceed to go call security. Furthermore, when I questioned him about return to any Walmart policy, he just basically told me, why did I not want to return at the original pick up store, wa it because I am scared? This statement ignited my temper. Sonn's services and statements towards me proved that he suspected I am a thief. At that time I refused to leave the location and engaged in an argument with him at the point to where I use vulgar language against him. He demaned that I leave the store and I told him to call the police. He just ignored and keep demanded for me to leave the store, and then just disappeard. I was pissed, so rather than pick up the 2nd order I cancelled it right there. I went home and called Walmart customer service and enquire about their return policy. I was again told that I can return any items to any walmart store. It was then that I shared my experience with Walmart customer service and initiated a claim against Sonn. I am a frequent at Westminer Walmart and I hope I do not run into Sonn again in my next shopping trip. I also hope that people will be aware of this man's behavior when attempt to return items. Please make sure they properly check for identification and confirmation, prior to proceed with actions that might be very offensive towards customers, exampled in my experience. If possible, do not ask for Sonn, or if he approaches you, please request another manager/employee. This man will surely exhibit abusive authority towards customers, especially discrimiations. Please be aware of Sonn. If you return an item bought at other Walmart and were refused, demand them to honor their policy, rather than making you drive back to the other walmart. This week I went to get an oil change and was informed by the mechanic that some pieces were broken on my last oil change on 11/26/16. It was done at Walmart because it was convenient to shop and get an errand done. I paid my bill, but there wasn't a mention that some parts were broken and a bandage repair job was done. I contacted Walmart corporate and will be waiting for a response since their damage costs about $450 to repair. I stopped by this Walmart while in the area to pick up a few things for my daughter. Since it was my first time there I had no idea where anything was so I asked one of the sales associates where I could find baby food and her response was, "it's over in the corner by the shoes." She didn't even specify as to which corner or anything and just continued doing whatever it was that she was doing. This is probably the worst Walmart I ever been to. First of all, I couldn't park in a lot next to it because the security said I could get a ticket. There is no sign that says that so I don't know where she got that from and she was ticketing other people. Then, everyone is rude there and I could not find the fabric section I assume that the workers should know at least the section. Lastly, because I couldn't find the fabric that I wanted I just left and they would not let me leave in the self-service section I had to go all the way around it did not make any sense and the lady that told me to go away give me attitude. I live in Santa Ana BUT will and DO, GLADLY Drive to this walmart. This Walmart can at times be in desperate need of restocking (on certain things) but for the most part I have found EXACTLY what I need, when I need it. I've yet to get stuck in LONG lines, but I tend do my shopping @ non-peak hours. You show up at 7pm on a Friday to shop at ANY WALMART, you only have yourself to blame for the misery LMAO!!! Only negative experience I had was showing up at 6:55 to return an item and being told by the CSR ( I believe her name was Suzy,) " we can't help you until 7am." And proceeded to tape up and label her go backs and ignore me and the 2 other people waiting. She did'nt even call a manager or have us go to the CSR desk by the final checkout, they could have handled the return before 7... -.o ... SERIOUSLY!! Yea, CSR dropped the ball on that. The manager named Toni was rude and disrespectful. I went to return a Christmas present without a receipt and that part was fine but they no longer carry the item in store. They do however carry it online, she would not even look it up. She refused to take it back and it was defective. The worst part about the shopping experience was how rude she was.
