They're open late, have large selection of goods at fair prices, and when I come in the late evenings the place is clean and in in decent shape, and the parking is reasonable. It can be a rough place during the day though, so plan accordingly if you can. :)

Literally waited over 30 minutes to get service! Seriously only had one lady working which is inexcusable! Where is management to cut the line down. I hate having to deposit cash here but one of my banks is online only so have to come here to deposit cash periodically. Do better!!

The store is very clean and well organized. It is next to Costco Business. Sometimes there are many homeless outside but they mostly gather at Carl Jr area. The staff are very nice and helpful. I always see the staff either restocking, making the products look good or cleaning the floor. They always have more products and all sizes. I love that they have many new Christmas clothing and decorations to choose from. They also make effort to decorate the store as well :)

It was a very, very wet California winter day, but since we were in the area, my wife wanted to check out this Walmart for the first time to see their selection of plants. She has been on the lookout for a Thai Constellation at a price she was comfortable with. She found it for a lot lower than expected (even though it scanned greater than what she thought..but still a good deal, so she told me). We ended up getting more potting soil as well (Walmart does have the best prices). Getting help is what you would expect at a Walmart on a cold, miserable day with employees who really didn't want to be there. But we found what we wanted with a bit of effort, and the self checkout worked fine. They are now following the Costco model, where an employee checks your receipt as you leave the store.

Good prices! I've been coming ever since I was little and not much has changed. They have almost everything you need and the prices are very reasonable. This location has items that aren't available at other Walmarts which is great. The lighting isn't the best and some of the items were kind of disorganized, but it's nothing crazy to worry about. The parking lot is quite spacious and they're right next to a Costco Business center which is convenient! There's a Walmart Neighborhood down the street, but it's completely different from a real Walmart. Decent!

*** Attention Yelp Community: This letter written by my father was painfully heartbreaking to read. I'd like to share it with the public becuase no one deserves to be treated this way and unsurprsingly, other yelpers feel the same way. I really suggest corrective action to be taken, not just for my father but also for the safety of others *** " Dear Sir/Madame, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a disturbing incident involving one of the parking lot security employees at the Walmart Center located at 13225 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683 on Wednesday, October 3, 2024, around 3:30 PM. My family and I have been loyal customers of this Costco for over 20 years, but we have never experienced anything as distressing as what occurred that day. My name is O.Nguyen, and I am a senior citizen, 62 years old. While shopping at this location, I was patiently waiting for a customer leaving for a parking spot when a Brosnan security guard aggressively tailgated my vehicle and honked several times, pressuring me to move forward. I informed him that I was waiting for this customer to vacate the spot by pointing to the car. Despite this, the security guard exited his truck, approached my car in a highly confrontational manner, and stood uncomfortably close to my window leaving about only 5 inches between him and me, while shouting at me to move. His behavior became increasingly aggressive, and he repeatedly pointed his finger at my face while loudly asking, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING?" This guard not only invaded my personal space but also continued to shout and berate me in front of other customers. Due to his tailgating, the situation was further escalated because the customer I had been waiting for was unable to back out, creating additional issues for both me and the other driver. His aggressive actions left me feeling scared, anxious, and vulnerable, especially as I have a medical history that includes high blood pressure. This sort of treatment caused my blood pressure to spike. We have recorded every conversation and have undeniable proof of his mistreatment that day. I am fully aware of my rights under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, including the right to peacefully wait for an available parking space without blocking traffic. This behavior directly violates my rights, and I demand immediate action and a full investigation into this incident to ensure the safety for the public community. . Sincerely, O. Nguyen "

I really liked the eye doctor here. The staff named Karla was very rude. She rushed me and had a bad attitude and it was unnecessary.

But it really tasted more like expensive white chocolate and flowers.

It's always nice to have a few things in the room after you've had a long day at the parks! The location was a great spot as well being close to the park. I picked up a handful of basic snack items, such as potato chips, candy, and a few beverages like soda and bottled water. They also had a lot of different types of snacks available in this store, so it was relatively easy for me to find a few things that I could take back into our room. Vons is is a great option to purchase extra food or snacks that may cost too much money to buy either within the parks themselves or from hotel gift shops. The store itself was very clean and very well organized and found what I needed in no time! The checkout process was also fast, and I was able to quickly get out of there as I wasn't looking to buy much and just wanted to bring back everything to the hotel for our stay during the Disneyland trip. Vons was a good stop while on a quick trip to Disneyland. If you are staying near by and would like to pick up some food, drinks or even some quick groceries for your room, Vons is a good option to have close to the parks.

I'm my last three visit, I've accidentally purchased and have seen several items that were expired by months and weeks. Items that are not even close to their expiration item would also go bad, even though when stored properly. I'm not sure what the heck has been going on. But it seems a lot of their products are not being checked. It's frustrating to spend several dollars on food that I have to end up throwing out because it was expired. This has happened in more than one occasion. I noticed that they had several countless items past their expiration date in their shelves since I because my cautious about checking the expiration date. They have some weekly deals. I like the selection they have for chips and snacks. Their meat quality and price isn't bad. They have a ton of the pre-packaged vegetables that are easily prepped. There's a pharmacy located inside as well in case you need to pick up prescriptions. The workers are direct and mainly there to do their jobs. I wouldn't describe them as the friendliest. I'll usually go to the self check-out line. Seeing as how disappointing it's been to see so many expired items, I don't trust to shop here anymore. Makes me sad to think several others are probably wasting their money on expired food.

The store isn't huge, and the layout is a bit tight, but the selection is surprisingly broad with tons of Middle Eastern staples. As a Halal market, there's no pork at all, but what did surprise me was seeing camel ground meat, plus things like tripe that's definitely not my everyday grocery finds. There's a giant section of nuts and dried fruit (almonds, pistachios, cashews, pumpkin seeds, all the goodies). Keep walking and you'll hit a full wall of colorful spices from all over the world, enough variety to make me stare for a while. They also have an entire aisle dedicated to tomato pastes and sauces, both imported and local, which is oddly satisfying to compare. Their fresh flatbread is supposed to be popular, but I went in the evening and it was already sold out. They also carry a tiny Asian section with Korean ramen and a few Japanese/Korean sauces and rice. Fun discovery: the drink section has Egyptian Coca-Cola in glass bottles, made with real cane sugar similar to the Mexican version but definitely different from the U.S. corn-syrup Coke. Near the exit there's a small bakery with pretty decent-looking cakes at good prices, plus a little food hall (including Kabab We Kofta serving Egyptian dishes) and a perfume/accessory shop. Overall, it's a very Middle Eastern-leaning market with lots of unique finds. If you like exploring international ingredients or need things you won't find in American grocery stores, this place is worth a stop. And if you're hungry afterward, there are several Middle Eastern restaurants nearby like Sababa Falafel Shop (Palestinian) and Damascus House Cuisine (Syrian). For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up. Overall, still a great spot for affordable grocery shopping, especially if you're cooking at home and want to save a bit here and there. (visited on 3/31/2026)
