Been shop here for awhile and it has been here for decades. Big, clean and easy to park since it's a big parking lot for the plaza. The store is well stocked, clean, spacious, well organized and plenty of choices to choose from. Fresh fruits and daily cooked foods sections. Staff are nice and friendly, prices are reasonable and you can save more if you're becoming or belonging to their club. Easy checkout, especially with their self checkout section. Plenty of promotions throughout the weeks, months or holidays so watch out for those. read more

Avoid if possible, for multiple reasons. Firstly. The aisles are not organized in any conceivable fashion that might be helpful to shoppers planning meals. Honey might in the baking aisle, or it might be in the jelly and jam aisle, or it might be in the third out completely unrelated to the previous. Secondly. The produce section and the meat section are tiny and constantly out of what you actually need to make a meal. Thirdly. There's a homeless man in the parking lot whose job it is to consistently be present during working hours, and to yell at people who are packing groceries into their cars. Fourthly and most importantly. They have undertaken to a replace as many cashiers as possible with machines, and we have undertaken so severe the cost-cutting measures that it is now entirely possible to check out your batch of groceries while the next person in line is still packing theirs, and the previous person in line is piling groceries on top of yours. Comedy results, or tragedy as you prefer. Myself, I would prefer to visit is supermarket that sells a decent selection of items at market prices. You would do as well. read more

I came here to try their fresh fish fried in front of you and seasoned. They asked if I wanted it in a fillet or cut into fish pieces. I tried the fish bites and he sprinkled it with Cajun seasoning. They do have another seasoning if you wish. I like to go to you buy we fry location out in Long Beach. This Ralph's you buy we fry isn't that bad if you're out and about and wanna grab some fried fish. It was nice hot fresh and ready for snacking. Service was wonderful. It's always clean inside the store so their food I trust very much. However their prices are a bit on the high side for Ralph's. Matter of fact, I know it's the most expensive Ralphs in the area. This grocery store used to be a pleasure to shop at. Not anymore. Store is looking run down and outside the store there are always panhandlers and seedy looking people hanging around. Makes one feel uneasy and scared of getting robbed. Produce selection not worth me stopping here anymore. I will go to your other store in Anaheim. My kids and I really like our local Ralphs. The staff are very nice. The place is clean and well stocked. The flowers are always fresh and beautiful. Lately, some of the fruits are a little soft even though they were just restocked. It might have been like that from the suppliers? Or long travel from the sources? Tried to buy a PowerBall ticket. The store just ran an AD over the speaker saying how big the Powerball jackpot was. I go over to the machine put in $10.00 only to find out that Powerball is not available. The machine tells me this at the very bottom of the machine screen. It says draw tickets not available see retailer. So I get the attention of an employee, she is busy, so I make eye contact with her and wave my hand. She looks at me nobs her head. Then she finishes what she's doing and walks away. I have to go and track down an employee who says really gruffly that they don't give any money back. I FEEL THAT RALPHS JUST STOLE $10.00 FROM ME. I've been loyal to Ralphs for years and always go out of my way to come to this location. Today was my last day shopping here. I grabbed a pack of Scottish smoked salmon because it was labeled on sale for $5.00. As I was scanning my items, the sale did not come up for the salmon. When I asked the lady stationed by the self-checkouts, she said she would send someone to check the label. The employee came back and said there was no sale label there. When we went back to check, the label was indeed gone. They realized they had messed up and took the label off, I assume because the sale had ended. Scummy. Why would you rip someone off like that? You didn't want the manager to get mad because you forgot to remove the label earlier, so instead you decided to gaslight your customers? What a joke of a store. I go to this Ralph's because the closer one to me is not good. This one is definitely better. They have better produce in my opinion. I love the variety of premade salads that they sell! Some of my favorite salads are the blueberry walnut with chicken, everything avocado salad, black bean and corn, and gourmet caprese salad. They are delicious salads!! 10/10 I've bought avocados, cereal and other groceries here. Just check the expiration dates on things and you should be fine. read more

Every time I come in there I always manage to get a warm welcome. I have never had an employee recognize and remember my name. Really gives the feeling of a neighborhood grocer. Seriously thoroughly impressed with the constant service received by Matthew. I hope this recognition holds a significant weight on Ralph's appreciation for obtaining and retaining such a good employee. The racially profiled me as and had security follow me around the store and it was very uncomfortable and unpleasing because I came with my baby brother and my girlfriend. I asked for the associates name so I can make a complain to the manager in charge and didn't want to give it to me. They were very rude and did not appreciate the service or shopping when I went. On top I couldn't even buy Girl Scout cookies in peace with the security following me. Went to get stuff Monday night after work at 20:30 for Boy Scout potluck yesterday. I forgot something in my car so I exited those doors and went right because my car was parked along the right side coming out of Ralph's. 2 Latino guys were hanging by the wall, doing nothing but watching people leave the market. I saw them from the corner of my eye watch me go to my car to grab something. I made sure I gave them a good, hard stare back so they knew I saw them watching me. After a day at work with the clientele I see, I was in ghetto mode and really wasn't feeling like getting robbed. On my way out of Ralph's after buying my groceries, I exited straight instead of right, and this time one of the dudes was standing right at the pillar exciting. But I didn't see his homey. As I walked farther away to look back I saw his friend come out behind the corner, so that if anyone exits right below that pillar, both dudes would be on each side of you, the ripe scenario for a robbery. I didn't take it seriously at the time but I kind of get the chills that they were planning to rob me. Be careful out there, everyone. Good thing I grew up in Hawthorne. I hate coming here at night. They push self Checkout because they're too lazy to work. Especially this Ralph's employee guy with the glasses that looks Hispanic acting like a security guard watching Over my shoulder as I scan lettuce over my shoulder. There self automated checkout is a joke. They push it so hard to where when I look around me the mexican guy with the glasses has to keep coming over to verify the items. I've been shopping Here way before he even worked here. Every night is the same night. This supervisor or manager comes over like hes in the vegetable police department Stares at My Transaction and reviews the dumb camera footage of me scanning my lettuce to see if I'm stealing a 99 cent lettuce is laughable. Its 12:30AM in the morning you think I'm some pretty thief? Worst part is every night I shop here hes always there like I'm not annoyed enough seeing him. And it's Like Deja Vu. I grab a lettuce scan it again and Dude rushes over to see if I'm stealing his precious 99 cent lettuce. Dude with the glasses get a life. I'm pretty Sure Next time I buy lettuce again and he reads this he'll know who I am. Hah. I Wish I could make this up but I'm not. This dude literally works here 12AM to 1AM checking to see if I steal his lettuce. Ralph's always has lovely, fresh produce. I also like the deli. Their roast beef makes excellent French dip sandwiches. In general, everything you could want a grocery store to be. You know how the prices of meat are awfully high right now? I can always find great sales prices in their meat department. For instance, I bought a delicious tri-tip for around $13. I've seen it at most other stores for nearly $27 or higher! Keep those sales coming, Ralph's, and thank you. read more

Saw a recent post from Gloria E and I am not surprised to see that she has something bad to say. Looking at all of her reviews, she never has anything positive to say... By the way Gloria... We were there as well on the same day and time when the alleged pregnant girl was tackled. The guard that is there is a real gentleman and is a great person. Jason like the other guards that have to deal with the scum of the earth that pry on businesses is the reason why this store has to have these guys around there. Everytime I've been here the old lady at the self checkout only comes up to me and my brother asking to see our reciept when there are other people there too. I've noticed from hearing about my other peer's experience that she only comes up to anyone that looks younger than 18 and asks to see a receipt. On a separate occasion I saw her raising her voice at another person who looked to be around 16-15 for not knowing that they couldnt take a bag even though they told her they'd still pay for it. I like this Ralphs location because they have their alcohol fully stocked. I went to a different Ralphs location to buy a 1.75L Svedka Vodka that was on sale for $14, but they didn't have anymore in stock. When I arrived at this location, not only did they have many in stock in the spirits aisle, but they also have boxes of them advertised in the front. I was able to purchase four of them for my party so that everyone will be happily boozed up. They also do a great job of placing complementing items in the same aisle. So I also saw tonic water, seltzer, and other mixes for making cocktails. Be sure to download the Ralphs app so that you can get additional discounts w/ digital coupons. All you need to do is add them onto your online account and type in your phone number at the register to activate them. Keep in mind that if you're buying alcohol, you can't use the self-checkout line (for obvious reasons). read more

I have been shopping at this location for quite some time now. I'm very upset because it seems that this Ralph's location has certain products like milk and yogurt listed as WIC approved. Ralphs is my go to non-Asian grocery store because I literally cannot escape their deals. A lot of the healthier brands are available here at great prices. Their app has a ton of applicable coupons with a free item every Friday. The great part about the Free Friday is you just have to redeem the coupon on the Friday..the "coupon" lasts a few weeks. Today I got a free Think Thin bar, Oreo mint chocolate bar, and Kashi peanut butter cereal for Free Friday x2 and a "Best customer bonus" free cereal. They probably are trying to have people try the new cereal flavor but hey..it's free! They also have a huge clearance section of seriously reduced prices including some slightly older breads like hamburger buns and hot dog buns. There were vitamins, eye drops, cookies, chips, command strips, you name it! All the stuff people don't buy usually at a Ralphs goes to Clearance. Bring your own bags and you get 5 fuel reward points. 100 points (1 point per dollar) = 10 cents off your next fuel up at Shell. You just need to use your Ralphs reward number before paying. If you buy enough you also get a survey on your receipt worth 50 points..so it's actually not hard to get. Totally worth it with these crazy fuel prices nowadays. read more

I don't normally review grocery stores, and I don't expect much from them, but this one was frustrating. I came here because I needed food and beverages for a party bus that evening. I spent about an hour in the store looking for what I needed and filled up the cart, thankfully I had a few specific items that were requested so I started with those. The store layout was normal and things were fairly easy to find. Employees availability to answer questions was normal. But what frustrated me was when I was checking out the number I wanted to enter into the system wasn't working and I and asked if I could sign up for a new account. Instead of telling me okay and putting me off to the side to help the next customer, she said I would have to come back another day to do that. I was very confused but she insisted that I come back another day and that it didn't matter because she already gave me the discount. I really didn't want to make a special trip back to the store (which is out of my way as I do not live in Orange County) just to sign up. Perhaps she could have suggested I go to a different register to sign up again and then get back in line, as that would have been a suggestion that made sense to me. read more

My girlfriend and I came here at around midnight to grab some snacks and groceries after a late night at Disneyland. Not even 5 minutes after walking in, we noticed that the security guard was following us. Later, when we checking out, we noticed 2-3 staff members (plus the security guard) watching us as we were checking out. My gf and I chalked it up to being because we're brown, cause why else? We're both RNs, so I'm sure we can afford $40 of groceries. Plus, if someone wanted to rob a place, I think they'd choose somewhere that ISN'T a crappy grocery store. Today I just had to give this Ralph's a positive review. The employees here are doing a lot to keep sanity and peace amid the Covid-19 crisis. I tried to shop here last week and it was mayhem with empty shelves across the board. Today was a different story. As I approached the carts, I was super impressed that they had an employee pre-sanitizing the carts. While they were out of stock on the Challenge butter that was on special (no rain checks), eggs, toilet paper and water, they had a full stock of meat including incredible deals on ground beef, the 1/2 price organic chicken from the weekly ad and a full stock of Pepsi products which were on sale. The ladies at the deli were also so cheerful. Overall I would say you will have the best chance of getting what you need at one store if you come here. read more
