Okay so usually i review only restaurant or place that has activities and such, but man has this place really disgusted me. I needed to stop by and buy some ingredients to bake and some lady items but i really needed to go to the restroom. So when i went in the floor was totally disgusting!! Toilet paper everywhere, some stalls didn't have locks on them. HOW THE HECK AM I SUPPOSE TO PEE WHEN THERE"S NO LOCK?! And the paper toilets were on the floor, ew, and the place where you're suppose to put them are totally busted open with nothing inside, like someone came in to steal toilet papers. Not only that but when i went to go wash my hands the area had paper towels on it....umm i left the restroom thinking "are they that busy not to even clean the restrooms?? This Walmart doesn't even deserve one star. Another reason why I hate shopping at Walmart is because of the quality in their customer service. I ordered 4 tires online that comes with a warranty. It was supposed to arrive to this location on Tuesday. I called in to see if my tires had arrived yet. I called 4 times, no answer all 4 times, was transferred 3 times by the automated system, still no one to answer my question. Today, Wednesday, I got a notification that my tires had arrived. I came by to pick it up and get it installed. The backup time was 3+ hours. I have a busy work schedule so I told them that I couldn't wait 3+ hours to get my tires installed. I wanted to pick them up and get them installed elsewhere. The technician name Albert said that if I did that it will void my warranty. I told him that doesn't make sense. I had the manager confirmed that that was not the case and that my warranty will still be intact. Sure enough, he gave me the incorrect information. I will not be shopping at this location or any Walmart ever again. Target has way better service anyway. read more

Obviously Walmart is never a classy place...but this one is really the worst. Self checkout is always backed up and there's always an attendant that sneaks up on you and yells at you if you're not scanning/bagging "the right way." She also will straight up not help people when the registers prompt for assistance. I came tonight to get a couple essentials, not a single register was open and the self checkout was all the way into the clothing department. An older customer was complaining that there aren't enough cashiers and it's too busy of a store, and the employee's response was "yeah I don't care, I'm going back over to the customer service counter." Then, I almost got hit by a car in the parking lot in front of their "security" staff. He looks the other way and acts like he didn't see anything. This store is obviously poorly managed. I've seen the manager straight up yelling at employees before, in front of many customers! Either get a new manager or hire more competent people. I will say that the aisles are always very organized compared to other Walmart stores, but if you need something quick I say stay away. read more

There are only a few things in this world that scares me. Things such as snakes, needles, girls with three boobs, and Walmart. There is something about Walmart that alerts all my senses. I end up going to Walmart about once every 3 or 4 years. They have some decent weight-lifting gloves for less than $15, so that was the purpose of my most recent visit. I'm pretty good at ignoring everything around me when I want to, so I enter Walmart with this mentality. If that doesn't work, when anyone still tries to talk to me I pretend to speak back in sign-language as if I'm deaf. Some mistake it for gang signs though. There's really nothing unique about describing the various types of people one may encounter when shopping here, so I won't use this space to poke fun at all of them. Although, I couldn't ignore the hommies parked in front of me, hanging in their car blasting music, staring at me when I got out of my car. Sure enough, they were doing the same thing when I went back to my car. I wouldn't be surprised if that parking spot was the equivalent of their living room, the front seats their couch, and the car radio their TV. After picking up the aforementioned gloves, I assumed they had self check-out, but they didn't (I shouldn't be surprised, a lot probably wouldn't be able to figure it out). So I jumped in a line behind 2 people that had their carts full of junk. It turned out to be much quicker than being the 10th person in line for the express lane. Wow, I outsmarted Walmart customers. I have a love hate relationship with this Walmart. I love Walmarts because I get to just wander around the store and end up with a hundred things I don't need but whatever because it's cheap as hell. The thing I love about this Walmart is that it's open 24. I never come during the day, mostly in the AMs because I'm a night owl. Watch out for the weird creepy people walking around the parking lot.. The aisles are always blocked with crates or bulk so you're going to have to find your way around to get through. Employees around aren't really down to help you find anything. It's not organized or clean. People just brutally rampage through their products. They will have only 3 or 2 cash registers open so you'll be waiting in a massive line for about 20 minutes. My favorite go to Walmart is on Beach but I'm never awake to make it on time.. read more

Worst experience ever! The cashier charged me for an item (Pokemon 2) that I didn't purchase for $68!! I usually check my receipt but was in such a hurry that day I just rushed out. Didn't notice until I got home. When I called their customer service, just got put on hold and transferred to another line until I got disconnected 30 minutes into the call. What a waste of my time. I take that back, mainly bad qualities, but I only come here if I am in desperate need of something that I want and I happen to be in the area. Reasons Why You Should Go To Wal-Mart - School Supplies: The school supplies here are cheap and typically beats out Target. I am a teacher and heavily promote education, I tell my students to go to Wal Mart because they can save their parents some money by buying their notebooks here instead. - Car Oil: Do you do your own oil change? They have the cheapest Castrol, Penzoil, whatever you need. - Cheap Lighting Fixtures: If you need stuff for your garden, I have always found their garden supplies and flowers to be cheap. - Produce: Not the most fresh fruits, but their produce is cheaper than Target's Marketplace Reasons Why You Should Not Go To Wal-Mart - Customer Service: There are greeters here but the cashiers aren't the friendliest. You are here to get in and get out - Clothes: Their clothes aren't the best quality. I really do not understand how people can even complain SO MUCH about Walmart. IT'S WALMART for god-sakes. The workers have shitty hours, shitty pay, and it's constantly busy. Stop being so privileged. On a side note, I have been coming here for years and I never really had a serious problem with this location. YES, the lines are long but self-checkout is pretty fast. My first time dealing with customer service at this location was when I bought a George Foreman Grill and it stopped working like 3 weeks later. I bought a 30 pack Coors beer only to find blood smears around the cans and inside the packaging. I called the wal-mart. They told me we couldnt exchange because we opened the bottles, but when I said this is not just dirt, it's blood. They said to bring in all the cans and they were willing to exchange it with another package. We went to grab it only to find blood smears in that packaging. Autumn was the staff associate helping me at the customer service desk and she said the only thing she can do was to give us the bottom half of the layer between the two packages. Worst customer service possible. Went there to buy some stuff and beer. In the shoe area I saw old shoes there, they must have been exchange for new pairs. In the check out counter I saw six people all being ask for there ID's 3 times to buy beer while only one person paying for it. Being ask 3 times to show ID, I hope it was not for being Latin. When I started to check out the cashier asked my wife who are you and how old are you, which I replied that is my wife and why do you want to know that, and I wanted to speak to the manager. Eileen the manager stated everyone is ID and everyone one has to be over 21 to by alcohol no matter if they pay for it or not. So if you have a baby or kids with you, you can't buy alcohol at this store only! Time for Walmart to give proper training to their employees on the law and customer service. read more

Came here tonight to pick up some shampoo. It was only... 8:45pm or so and the entire parking lot was full. Luckily, I was able to find a parking spot fairly quickly since I happened to come in at just the perfect time as someone was pulling out. When I came into the store, it was total chaos. Like I said previously, the construction going on has left the aisles narrow and cluttered. Put that together with the already crowded store and you've got yourself one heck of a shopping experience. After I inched my way through the crowd, I went to the register area only to find there there was only about 5 cashiers open. The line I happened to form into turned out to be closed since the cashier was doing some over time. But she nicely took me and the lady behind me as her last customers before ending her shift, so props to her! But seriously, this Walmart needs to get its act together. Had I not been so close to this one and needed more than just a "quick" shampoo run, off to the HB one I'd have gone! This experience would have been a 1 star. It's Walmart, how could you complain so much. This place is buSY. Even during the weekdays. I came originally to get new glasses. $58 for an eye exam isn't awful, and I was in and out in an hour and everyone in there was incredibly nice. Overall, I enjoyed it. I have a follow up for some contacts so I'll be stoked to come back! At about noon on a Thursday and they took me as a walk in without waiting. I imagine that you would have to get an appointment during the times everyone's off work, but if you can skid by without one. After that I went shopping and was at the check out, and there was this woman yelling something about paper towels.. Not sure what that was all about, but the service was mediocre other than that. I cannot believe how inconsiderate and rude some of the workers and shoppers are here. My friends and I just came here to make a simple purchase and we needed help picking a fish. We went up to an employee thinking that she would be helpful and give us somewhat of a good experience. We were obviously completely wrong. When we asked the employee (Jeri or Jerry, the employee is a woman), she yelled at us, "Are you kidding me?!" She screamed that phrase in our faces the times like we were devils. I'm sorry that we had to ask you, but that's not the kind of customer service I was expecting. Completely rude and will never recommend this Walmart because I do not know how many more of those kinds of employees work at this sad establishment. As we got to the cash register, we were having difficulty picking a line and I can understand that people will be angry at us for being indecisive. Once my friend had picked a line, I brought his sisters and myself to that same line with him. Unfortunately, this sad middle aged white woman thought she had the right and called me an ASSHOLE! She thought I had cut right infront of her when I was trying to get in line with my friend. I'm sorry for this lady for she had no right in calling me an asshole. I'm pretty sure more customers like her are lurking around this specific Walmart. I've seen these kinds of issues with other customers that did not involve me, but it is never ok for people to start calling other people names. There employees are not trained properly they try to run up on families with children and assult parents in presence of children. Then blame the customer. As well as following customer. And there corporate is a joke not train to handle situations they try to hide there employees and not identify them but quick to call the cops for nuisance. This location is ALWAYS crowded with rude customers walking 5 across an aisle or blocking the aisles. It's a magnet for all of the slobs in the area. The workers are very unhappy all of the time. It's open 24 hours, but late at night they're all stocking the shelves and block everything in every aisle. Then look at you like YOU'RE in the way. They card you for buying Sharpies. They card people you're with if YOU buy alcohol. Why would that matter how old my boyfriend is if I'M buying it? What if he had left his ID at home? I dislike this place so much it makes me sick. Just your average Walmart, except this one is always open 24/7. I always go here at 2AM, just for fun because nothing in the OC is open after 12... The workers aren't friendly as you would like, but the store is always stocked to the max! Very convenient 24 Hour Wal-Mart about 2 minutes away from my house. I honestly used to come here at least 3 times a week if I ever needed anything. Definitely has a good variety of anything that you can imagine! Besides designer brand clothes of course ;) This Wal-Mart does get pretty packed on most nights, but the Pharmacy and the Electronics department are always very helpful. If you have tons of stuff to check out and don't wanna wait in all the long lines at the front, try out the back lines near the Garden Center, usually there are at least 2 open cashiers. And if that line is ALSO long, try the Recreation cashier or the Auto Care cashier. Yes, I know my way around Wal-Marts. :D read more

I'm hoping this is a one time ordeal but: I ordered prints (31 4x6) and signed up to get an email/text message when it is ready. One day passed, then two, then three. This is strange I thought, especially since I have ordered from them before and it came back much quicker. Maybe I've been spoiled with the Wal-Marts up north, but the ones down here are yuck! It's too crowded with people stomping all over things, making a mess, and walking away. Where is common decency nowadays? I guess out the front door as soon as you walk into this WM. Besides the messy and crowded factor, this WM is great for any last minute shopping (non-apparel of course); and it's even better that this place opens 24 hours. I always come here when it's too late and target is closed.. This location is open 24 hrs and for the most part.. When you come this late at night (12 am or later) you are going to be walking around a lot of crates and items of which they are restocking and/or moving around... If you are a girl.. Never come to this place alone at night! I always go with two or more people! You never know what crazies are out there! Also do not expect this place to be clean and neat at this time either.. I feel like the place is extra messy around these times.. I came to look for face paint for a last minute costume for work tomorrow.. And all their face paint was either stolen or all gone.. This review is for the automotive service center: What??! Five stars for Walmart? I'm surprised myself. Came here for an oil change (synthetic oil) price was $48 after checking w/ Jiffy Lube which came out to about $90 plus $15 off with coupon. Walmart is cheaper even with Jiffy Lubes discount. Walmart checked on everything from brakes, lights, etc., & price included new filter change. Both mechanics (female) & new hire assisted me & they both were very nice & helpful. I went shopping while I waited & they were done in about 30 min. Good price, fast service, & great customer service. This was my first time coming & I will be coming back. read more

I wasn't going to review this at first. I figured a check in was good enough because I really only ran in for one item. But that run made me realize, hmmm there are interesting people hanging around this Wal-Mart. Okay, maybe 2, but hear me out. Suspect 1: lady with a one time use camera asking people to take pictures of her. She was kinda old too. A guy in a nice suit took a picture of her...with shopping carts and a parking lot in the background. How exciting...? Then, she asks me to take a picture of her by the soda machines. Uh, no thanks. I'll pass. I said no, and she continued to yell things at me. Okay, I get if you are going to develop a camera and you have a few shots left. Please don't pictures of a Walmart. Maybe she was documenting her first Walmart visit? Whatever it was, it did not make me want to shop there. Suspect 2: Guy in wheelchair, situated by the entrance, shouting random things at people who pass by. It startled me. And whatever he was saying, made no sense. He wasn't old, and I couldn't tell that there was obviously anything wrong with him. I'm just curious who would leave him there. At least do him a favor and push him around the store. I already felt weirded out by this Walmart before even stepping inside. The shopping experience itself, however, was no big deal. Then again, I did only run in for one item. The surprise of this Christmas season was when I bought my first Glade scented oil candle. These things are great! I don't know what took me so long to pick one up. Wait, I know... it's their normally sweet flowery and foody scents which I don't like. I happened to find one at Target in a seasonal scent called "Spruce it Up" which is a combination of fir, spruce and sandalwood. Now that is nice. It smells like you're in woodsy forest while the oil burns away. I was so sad I when I found out I couldn't get the refills there. The other night when I went to Albertsons, they didn't have the refills either. I took a chance and drove by Walmart on the way home from work and thought I'd see if they sold the refills. SCORE!!! And they were on sale, too. I bought every last one of those green boxes. Ahh, yes. That woodsy forest scent is mine! All Mine!! Muhahaha. I couldn't find a basket when I walked in, so yes, I was that lady you saw with the dozen cartons of Glade refills in her arms gingerly making her way to the check-out stands. This store always seems crowded, but parking is not a hassle. read more

The Walmart is all about convenience to be able to get the stuff you need, that's THE ONLY thing this place has to offer because everything else sucks. From the customer service to being overly crowded and A LOT of stuff you might need is out of stock. I feel as if the people who work there just really show up to be there vs work. ANYWAYS, I will also be reviewing the VISION CENTER... I hate this particular place. I've got my eye exam and bought contacts at other Walmarts and they were great but this place makes it such a hassle over all, especially their sales associates... I went to go buy contacts and couldn't even buy a certain kind of contacts I wanted because supposedly it wasn't on my prescription... But I could go anywhere with my prescription and get any brand of contacts I wanted. Plus the sales associate picked up the phone, not even excusing herself from me and was trying to schedule an appointment with this person, which I'm sure would of token her another 10 minutes. By that time I really wanted to walk out and say forget it about wasting my time but politely said I was in a hurry. Amina, an assistant manager there is completely rude, unhelpful and downright ignorant of her own store's policies. Customer service is completely hit or miss, and this inconsistency breeds a horrible atmosphere where nothing can be found in the right place. The place is filthy, walkways are blocked, and it bears mentioning again-- Amina, the assistant manager, is horrible. She lies about store hours, walks off if you disagree with her in any way, is condescending, and blames all problems on other factors besides her own ignorance. She claimed for example that site-to-store pickup hours are from 7 am to 9 pm, because site to store and layaway items are stored in locked containers outside the store. Police will cite and arrest wal mart staff if they go outside past 9. How ridiculous is that? A third time, because the experience was so bad-- Amina, the assistant manager there is rude, unhelpful and condescending. Go somewhere else until customer service management steps up. read more

Okay, well it's Walmart. All Walmar's attract lower class citizen's, it's just a fact. This location is no different. The parking is always full so wear your walking shoes. As with all Walmarts, the place is big and it has a McDonald's in it as you walk in. The greeters are usually too busy giving the stink eye to the more obviously lower class people coming and going to ever say hi to a regular person. They have a big clothing section for women which I like. Their shoe section was a complete empty disaster. A lot of their basic products were sold out or a mess. I'm sure it's hard to keep up with the ghetto people who don't have any manners when it comes to putting stuff away. The biggest turn off for me at any store are the beggars that are allowed to stay in the parking lots. Even after complaining, did security walk outside to see what I was talking about? Nope. Disappointing. At night, a single female can find the begging very scary...what if it turn into something else when you say no? Overall, I only come here when the Buena Park Mall location is out of what I need. You'd think with a less Hispanic population (I'm half Mexican...I can say this) and more Asian driven clientele it would be safer. Actually it doesn't feel like it. I noticed that there was a price difference compared to the one in Compton and I don't agree with that just because of the city. This place was life saver in many ways. When I first moved into my apartment in LA I was in need of household goods. Wal Mart was there for me. I was able to buy plates, lamps and other home fixtures at a bargain price. There was also Jennifer who worked in the pharmacy. She simply stocked things and pointed out to me that the food there was good. I took a liking to the bargain sodas there which are about half off and they were good too I like the grape. Food here is good for the price. I was also able to pick up office supplies which eased me into my new job which I am still at to this present day. While people are ashamed to say they even come here I valiantly give this place a fiver. Well I did get to take Jennifer out a few times. Coffee first and we made quite a few memories for ourselves. But this was some time back. Something about those Southern girls that makes it hard to forget that they were a part of your life at some important point. read more
