Unfortunately, that was the only part of the experience that went smoothly. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was not particularly pleasant, and we were immediately told that our vision insurance was not accepted--despite no mention of this during the scheduling call. We were then told they would "honor" or match pricing, but that there was no optometrist on site. Instead, the exam would be conducted via telehealth. This was never disclosed when the appointment was scheduled. We expected an in-person eye exam, including a slit lamp examination to assess overall eye health, not a virtual visit. Had this information been provided upfront, we would not have wasted our time coming in. The lack of transparency, combined with the dismissive front-desk interaction and the lower standard of care than we're accustomed to, made this a very disappointing experience. This is not the level of quality eye care we expect, and we will not be returning.

From calling for information, later to schedule an appointment, to exams, I was treated well by everyone throughout the process. Everything was explained as we went through all processes, questions I raised were explained and answered to my satisfaction. I chose frames with assistance, run through the costs on my plan and the cost on lenses only, given options for my new glasses, helped to order lenses for my seldom used frame I had from 12 plus years ago, so I could have a reasonably priced pair for backup.
