Update: The owner Melanie commented on my yelp asking me to reach out but the email doesn't work…read more Nothing has been resolved. Melanie reassured me the email is working but I'm still getting the same message that says, "this email does not exist." She gave me a number to call on Monday when they're open. I shared a photo below of the weird message she left underneath this review. "If this is a legitimate complaint, you WILL reach out." Well I've tried to email the email Melanie provided to me multiple times and it still doesn't exist. So I will be calling this number to see if this situation gets resolved. I will update this post as the situation continues because this will happen to someone else and you will be talked to just like this. If the manager talks to customers like this online, I can understand why the staff is disrespectful as well. It makes me uncomfortable that the manager is questioned whether my complaint is legitimate or not when I have shared the complete sequence of events I experienced that month. And I will be posting all screenshots of proof so that no one has to go through this traumatic experience the same way. This is completely unprofessional and inappropriate.

I seemed to figure out what was wrong with my eyes before my previous optometrists, and they insisted that my prescription could even be too strong. They made me feel like a burden, and often would cut my appointment short to set up another recheck appointment. I eventually got fed up and went to Dr. Greene. His office is not only warm and inviting, but his staff are as well. Their equipment is SO MUCH NICER! It measures everything more quickly and accurately, and to be honest, a lot less stressful. I also like that the equipment can take photos which can be saved to your chart as a visual timeline of your eye health instead of relying on written notes alone. because the equipment measures your eyes, you don't ever have to worry about someone stabbing you in the eye or blowing air until your eyes are crusty. you also don't need those eye drops that burn your eyes. while having the best experience I've ever had at an eye exam office, I was also validated by the staff that listened to my stories of previous experiences and was met with reactions that co firmed I wasn't just crazy or wrong about my need for a prism prescription. Dr. Greene explained everything clearly to me and I never felt rushed through my exam at any time. And he's nice! I can just tell he's a great guy, a family man that loves what he does for them and his community. I opted for a pair of neurolens glasses, which came with its own VR headset made to measure your eyes movements and focus. But even after the machine suggested a prescription, Dr. Greene double checked manually to confirm it. My last Dr. used old school prism blocks in a wood storage box, which didn't help at all. Dr. Greene actually had the lenses to put into his equipment to make it as smooth of an experience as someone with mild nearsightedness. When I went to pick out some frames, I tried a new shape and material over what I would usually wear to try something new. After a couple weeks, I contacted the office asking if I could replace the frames with a style I usually wear, as the ones I initially chose kept sliding down my nose from being too heavy on my face, as well as hurting my ears. They replaced them for free, and took only two weeks. They even let me keep the first pair until the second pair came in. Next time I definitely want to see about contact fitting since they offer dry eye treatments. maybe now I can wear contacts when I want to!

Today I'm reviewing Costco's Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke, which I've bought countless times in the past and even on a regular when I lived in Reno. What I love about Costco's Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke is that it's consistently fresh every time! I've never had a bad batch, spoiled batch, nor a fishy smelling batch ever. The taste and season is consistent and can be paired with many different dishes. For people who steer away from it because it says wasabi, have no fear, I assure you it's not spicy hot like you imagine wasabi to be. My favorite is to have it with some plain ol jasmine rice--one of my staple meals for protein as I'm a pescatarian and meal prep time is pretty much non existent besides cooking of the rice. It's fast and easy and a great value for some quality tuna.

There's nothing not to love about this Costco (okay, maybe one thing)…read more It's a good size. They have a good selection of things. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. The parking lot isn't a total disaster. You can (almost) always find a good place to park. It's never too crowded. And you do get tremendous value when you buy in bulk. (That's what they say right?) The only thing that this Costco could do to improve is to offer sushi. Costco sushi is one of our favorites and this location doesn't have it. But other than that, this Costco is great.

They well Canada Goose coats that have coyote fur trim on the hoods. Canada Goose has a history of using fur they obtain from trappers. Animals who are trapped in the wild can suffer for days from blood loss, shock, dehydration, frostbite, gangrene, and attacks by predators. They may be caught in steel-jaw traps that slam down on their legs, often cutting to the bone; Conibear traps, which crush their necks with 90 pounds of pressure per square inch. They certainly don't need to sell fur at Escape Outdoors. I will never buy anything at this horrible store that support animal cruelty.

What's frustrating is that Escape Outdoors took the time to verify the coat's authenticity but still knowingly shipped a damaged product without notifying me. Customers shouldn't have to pay shipping and handling fees to return defective items, especially when purchasing a premium brand like Canada Goose. For an item that is advertised at full price, the customer expects the item to be in "pristine" condition. I like the products they offer but may have to reconsider other retailers for my next purchase.

I have found what should be $7-10 bottles of polish for $1.50-2 and that makes my addiction a bit lighter on my unemployed pocket. This store is typically a bit dirty and disorganized which is not conducive to an efficient and productive shopping experience. Some shelves are left bare and that doesn't look good either... Often when going to check out there is only one checkstand open and it is a crap shoot as to if it will be a long line or if a checker is actually behind the stand. On occasion I stand there just looking around to see if a staff member may be in earshot:) There are a few food items I purchase here but mainly this is my go to nail polish place. This is by far one of the worst parking areas in Cd'A, buildings seem to have been added in randomly in the lot so there are far too many entrances and exits in pour locations making it difficult to navigate when busy.

To my surprise, this one is so much cleaner, better organized and has nicer staff to boot. The prices range from crazy cheap to decent to hmmm...that's a lot cheaper and better quality somewhere else, so you just have to watch what you buy. Overall, I will add this in my rotation for bargin store shopping.
