When I initially got my glasses the service was great and the employees were very kind, but when I went to pick up my glasses there was only one person there and they took over 30 minutes with another costumer when I only needed her to grab the glasses and have me sign a paper the interaction only lasted 30 seconds and she couldn't take 30 seconds from another costumer even tho I know she damn well could have. read more

The time you are just standing waiting for someone to see you is ridiculous. Simply picking up a pair of previously ordered glasses, not even doing an eye exam, should take 5 minutes max. Not 20 minutes waiting and then another 20 minutes "picking them up". Absolutely ridiculous. I can see the box with my name on them on the shelf. I don't even need to pay because I already did. Dr left 2 min before I arrived for an hour and half lunch. Appointment time was 1:20, I arrived at 1:22 and he was gone. Terrible customer service after driving 40 minutes. Receptionist tried to call doctor but was unsuccessful in reaching him. read more

The staff are all very friendly and personable. The selection is decent. Wish they had more designer options but recognize that's not for everyone. They are quick, reliable and electronically oriented. You can get text messages when your glasses are ready. Easy, convenient and reasonable prices - especially with sale options. I got my eyes examined for the 1st time in years. And now that im old i need glasses. So i went into the store looking for glasses. I did not know what frame to pick. I got frustrated at the first time and overwhelmed then I called on the phone and talk to a lady named Amanda. She told me to come on in and she would help me so I went in. She helped me pick out glasses great customer service. We had some laughs and I would recommend Having her as your customer service agent and glasses professional she did a great job so now I've have to wait 10 days for my glasses to come in. The employees attitude is as bright at the interior. Everyone I have dealt with here is super friendly. The exam went really quickly, quicker than any eye doctor I have ever been to. It may just be that the techs have lots of energy, but they are also very efficient. So far I have only seen Dr. Artman, but he is friendly grandfatherly type and very pleasant. He explained things really well and answered my questions in a way that was informative and easy to understand. I see from other reviews that this location has a past of trying to upsell a lot of stuff you don't need and poor customer service after the sale, but I haven't seen any of that here. Maybe they have stepped up their game to improve? I will qualify that I don't have a ton of experience with eye doctors because it has only been a couple years since I have even needed corrective lenses, but my wife has been dealing with them for years and says this is one of the better places she has ever been. I don't know much about the office's environment or courteousness of the staff at this time, however Dr. Lum is a doctor worth seeing. He is literarily a talent hidden in the walls of LensCrafters. Level of trust in his decisions, explanation of medical condition(s), and the amount of time that he spends with patients, deserves more than 5 stars. He especially loves working with contact lenses. I recommended and definitely still recommend to all friends and family. I know that he used to run both the LensCrafters' doctor office at the North Town Mall and Valley Mall, I am not sure if he still does, and he has other doctors working for him. Make sure you schedule with him if you do schedule. I have heard many positive testimonies from my family and friends! read more

The true measurement of a companies customer service policy isn't measured by how they act when things are going well but rather how they react when things go wrong. I will never return to this location for eye care or hardware, nor will anyone in my family. I suggest you look to a more professional optical provider. Low quality product with lower quality service! My family has been going here for the last few years since it's the near our home and accepts our insurance. The doctors office portion is never organized. Constantly loses appointments. Despite having proof of my appointment I was turned away. I should also mention that there were no other patients there and some of the staff could heard audibly complaining from the back about how slow they were. Why turn away a paying patient? Returned a week later for my newly scheduled appointment. Exam was fine, doctor courteous and professional although the same can not be said for the front desk staff. My wife ordered glasses at the actual Lens Crafters portion of the store (the doctors and lens crafters are separate as you will reminded repeatedly). Up sell at every turn. You need to get this special film and this type of lens$$$$$$. In the end we spring for all recommended upgrades. A few short months later her lenses become bubbly and she can't see through them (something we were promised wouldn't happen if we accepted one of the many upgrades). We return to the store to ask that they be repaired and are treated with utter distain. No they will not fix the lens they say with a laugh. But they will replace both lenses for $179. Mind you that's more than we paid for the frames and lenses combined. We ask that they replace just the one lens to honor their product. They refuse. We ask for a manager and he refuses. Nobody there can explain what has happened to the lenses or assure us it won't happen again. read more

The doctor is awesome. But I had to give 2 stars because of the receptionists. My husband and I went in with my brother and the ladies made it seem like us being here was a inconvenience to their socializing. They didn't greet us until someone asked if they were going to help us. Then while we filled out paper work they laughed loudly and where hitting each other, playing around. One of them was chewing gum, smacking her gum in her mouth and chewing loudly. Because of these girls inability to act professional is Why we will not be back. read more

I came here with my boyfriend who needed sunglasses. He only wears contacts so he wanted a pair of sunglasses to go over them and the girls there said absolutely not. He HAS to have a new pair of prescription lenses for the sunglasses. What's the point if he has to take out his contacts just to wear his sunglasses?? In the years before, they would let him keep the original lenses so he can still wear his contacts underneath. The workers there didn't even try to help us. They just said "Nope. Can't do that. The night before we had to leave town for a wedding, my boyfriend broke his glasses. When we went in to Lens Crafters, Bianca found his insurance information in the computer and answered every single question we had. She scheduled us an appt for the next morning to get his eyes checked since we arrived minutes before closing that night. We went in, he got his eyes checked, and received his brand new glasses earlier than the time we expected! They knew we were rushed to leave town and didn't disappoint! Are you looking for a horrible place to buy overpriced eyewear with poor service. Then walk right in. This place is a joke, with kids running the store. Was told an hour but when I wanted a coating put on my glasses it was way overpriced and then told a week. 2 weeks later after calling them multiple times my glasses arrived. I was getting headaches so I went back to my eyedoctor(not at lenscrafters) and was told the glasses were made wrong. He went as far as calling them and telling them what was exactly wrong but they said they were made right.(Do I trust my Doctor or a kid with minimal training?). I refunded my money and purchased the glasses at my Doctors office. What a difference in service and quality. Only took 5 days and my glasses worked great. The big KICKER, the glasses I purchased through my local eyedoctor were less money. Don't waste your time. read more
