I drove from Elm Mott today because they were out of what I wanted in Bellmead so ended up on the Franklin Street pick up order. Not going into all that happened but there was a mistake and the manager over pick up a great guy stepped up fixed it and got me back on the road pretty quick. Visiting Waco, and my host wanted to stop and do some shopping on a weekday afternoon. Easy parking, and it is a clean well stocked store. 2 registers were open which was more than ample given the customer density when we visited. It's Walmart so look for the items on Sale or Markdown for best values. My host was looking for comfort workout pants, and 2 serving jugs for liquids both purchases of which were less than $10 dollars. In my opinion it is selectively a good alternative to a dollar store for a shopper like myself. read more

the store never answers the phone and when I managed to get through after days of calling, I was told I was being rude for being upset that I couldn't get someone to answer the phone and direct my call. The people who do eventually answer the phone are extraordinarily unprofessional and shouldn't represent Wal Mart. read more

It was horrible. everyone was just so rude to me and my friends. They said they were understaff but every staff member was on their phones just standing there. I come to Walmart at 9:44 PM which may be late for some people, but definitely not for Walmart that is open until 11 I read online that the customer service desk closes at 10 PM so I came just in time for some reason we got here one side of the entrance doors were locked which I don't know is a normal thing or not but the lady yelled at us and said I just told y'all those doors are locked when we obviously did not hear her the first time and she was very rude right from the get-go before we even got into the building, we go straight to the customer services so I can return a few things that were still in its bags and there are workers standing around not doing jack shit then they told me that they closed the customer service desk early because they are understaffed while they continue to stand around and not only that but play on their phones it would've taken five minutes to let me do an exchange or even give me a refund instead of nicely apologizing. He just said you can come back at 7 am when we open. not even trying to help the situation as we leave we see the people walking around talking to their coworkers laughing not doing their jobs. and once again on their phones. and Walmart has a strict phone policy only being used for work instead of personal use.the only kind person was Donnie, he was such a pleasure and very friendly. i don't even really care about the exchange, but it was really the rude staff I had to deal with. if I could give this place negative stars I would in a heartbeat. read more

Called their auto department before being towed to this location. They told me they had more than 1 touring tire my size. I get there and they only have a Sceptre. The popped tire was under warranty. The warranty is only good for $30 off. They charged me on the receipt to balance the tire. I had to go back because it was wobbling. They had 2 different Boyz tell me it was fine. I had to get it balanced else where. It does not wobble now. It's not my fault they had to work during The Cowboys vs Texans game. Most of the time, there is only 1 or 2 registers open. The store is kept fairly clean, but staff doesn't seem to care less what you need. It's pretty pathetic that a store this size never has more than a couple registers open at any given time. read more

I usually try to avoid this Walmart because I don't feel super safe as I've seen law enforcement have to come multiple times, but today was product related and it just was the last straw. I went in to buy a hair dryer and found the one I wanted. But when I got home with it I opened it up and it had clearly been used and then returned. I don't know how associates can think that it is acceptable to sell again in the state it is. It's gross and dirty. If I am going to pay full price for something, it shouldn't be dirty. Extremely poor service and management. I was trying to find a staff to notify them of serious spill and broken glass. After lots of searching I finally found someone, and the employee told me to go find someone else because there was nothing they could do about it. Another time it took them over 45 minutes to process my one tax exemption purchase. I must admit, I normally avoid Wal-Mart like sushi on Mondays... however, I had to make a return here for a faulty electronic item that was acquired by my wife on short notice. I arrived later in the evening, and had no wait at customer service. However, the clerk ambled around arduously to get the attention of her manager to get an over-ride. The manager came over, frowned at my receipt because as of that moment, I was a calender-day over the 15 day return window for electronic goods. Without giving me any hassle, she punched in her over-ride code, leaned in to tell me that I was just hours late, and thought it was ridiculous to not be able to return a faulty machine...! I was dumbstruck and could barely manage a verbal thank you--I did look for her to try and thank her again, but she had resumed her duties and disappeared. There was a time in the early to mid 1990s when I found Wal-Mart an amazing place to shop with outstanding product, low prices, and employees who did their jobs with pride. Lazy Lazy Lazy. They lost a couple of thousand in sales today. And many more in the future. I was in the market for several items. 70in Tv, Tv stand, futon, some folding chairs, office chair, and 2 computers. This was going to be a purchase for an office. I had a question about the location of a tv and there was no spot for it under the display. Normally this means it's in another location. I asked the clerk and he said he didn't know. I asked if he can look it up and he said no. I asked to talk to the manager and he said sure she is over there and motioned with his hand to the front of the store. We just bought a bike and he helped us with understanding what we are buying plus the accessories and tools we'd need to go with it. This visit wasn't the most awful one I've had but, I'm finally coming out and saying something. The mens bathroom was awful. Ive been in cleaner port-a-johns. There was urine all over the floor and it was just all around nasty. We also sat at the jewelry counter for over 20 minutes with no sign of a employee. We found one at the customer service Dept and they called for one. We stood for another 5 min with nobody showing. My wife again went to the customer service. They stated that they would go find her. As soon as she walked away they called for the employee over the intercom. Another 5 or so minutes we finally walked away. (I guess I didn't want that watch after all.) The entire store was overall a mess and unorganized The only reason it gets two stars is that they had all but 3 items we needed and the lady at the register was very nice and pleasant. read more

Our daughter just started her freshman year at Baylor and we are so glad they have this Walmart close to campus! We've made a few trips there to stock her up on snacks, water, stuff for her dorm room etc and as always the prices are the best! The parking lot is well lit and clean! Where to begin, Every time I go into this Wal-Mart I right away notice how unorganized and how messy it is. Seems that every time I need a certain thing they never have them in stock. Want a certain movie? Well the DVD section is always empty so look some where else. Need a cell phone case? Nope, they don't have any. Need an oil filter for your car? Yeah better just go to pep boys cause they wont have it. Need an actual cell phone? They wont have it in stock or in the back and if they do they don't want to look for it. Oh you decided to pick another phone because that other one you wanted was out of stock? Oh wait that one is out of stock as well... keep trying. Just empty slots in places that things should be. Spaces with nothing in them, trash, and used food hidden in the isles. I saw a very old chicken popcorn cup in the toys department and there was hardcore mold growing all inside of it. Just goes to show how little someone in that department is maintaining it especially if something like that can sit in an area long enough to grow life. I don't ever see any cashiers or workers. The women's department constantly looks like black Friday just threw up all over the place. No organization to it what's so ever. The men's department actually looks decent but men never really touch their clothes. The clothes are never sized or folded correctly they are just thrown on top of each other or put where ever. Half the time there will be 4 -5 different shirts on one rack with no rhyme or reason to it just like a yard sale. Now I know not all Wal-Marts are like this. You can go down the block to the Hewitt Wal-mart and everything is spotless. So there must be something going on within this Wal-Mart specifically that needs to be addressed. Also, I found over the past few months that some workers will say one thing and others will say something different. I know doing the game exchange is always very difficult at this location. Customer service will say the electronics department but then when you get back there they say the customer service does it at the front. There's been times where they say they don't even do it anymore which I know is a lie because the electronic person told me they did it at the front at customer service. Then once you finally figure out where to be the person working at the time never knows how to do it. I'm just saying that this Wal-Mart has a lot of flaws. read more

They didnt have anyone working in the lube and tire area that knew how to change tires and oil in the middle of the day . This location is dirty and poorly run. Staff and much of the local clientele are in need of training on politeness. As I have said in the past the stores are a resemblance of their shoppers. We were on the road headed to Waco when we realized we needed to change a tire right away. Called this Walmart about 40 min before closing time and were told they wouldn't change the tire because they were closing even after we informed the person on the phone this was an urgent matter. When asked to speak to a manager, were put on hold for 40 min!!!!!! read more

They have everything you need but employees are usually rude. The uniforms are horrible and trashy. They seem to never have enough employees to check people out which creates long lines. They do not have very much of healthy food choices like HEB, where you can get wheat anything. The prices are good just be prepared for sloppy isles and employees. read more

I recently bought a Boost Mobile phone Re-Boost card for my $35 monthly payment and when I tried to enter the PIN through both my computer and phone, it said the card had already been used so it could not be redeemed. I asked for a refund but was not granted one. I had to buy another card (at another place!) in order to continue my phone service, having to spend $70+ instead of $35+ for my phone card.
