On the expanded restaurant side, you order at the counter and the food is brought out to your table surprisingly fast. They also have a full bar and a fountain drink station. One of the things I love most about this place is that the food is pretty good for the mid range restaurants price. My favorites are the peel-and-eat shrimp and the fried shrimp, but the hidden gem on the menu is the spaghetti mac and cheese. If you've never tried it, you should. Their bread pudding is also huge and easily big enough to share. Families will appreciate that they offer a kids menu. OI hate to admit that I rarely visit anymore, but on my most recent visit, everything was pretty much what I've come to expect over the years. The dining area is not fancy, but was clean, the tables and chairs were maintained, and the fried shrimp was just as good as I remembered. My only complaint was that the salt and pepper shakers were downright filthy. They were dirty enough that I didn't want to use them, which was a problem because that spaghetti mac and cheese screams for a little black pepper. Even with that issue, this is still a place I have a lot of affection for. Good seafood, reasonable prices, and decades of family memories keep bringing me back.
