Catfish shrimp fries
Lakeshia P.

Catfish was seasoned very well. Great customer service also. You can also pick your own seafood and have it prepared there

Bone in fish, fries, salad, toast, homemade tarter & jalapeño

AMAZING FRESH COOKED fish!! I called it in & it was ready within 20 minutes, great customer service, store side was well stocked & very organized, the vegetables looked very fresh and lots of condiments for purchase, I purchased Slap Ya Momma hot sauce it was great also...I bought the 15 piece bone in catfish steaks, it came with a large fry, toasted bread slices, salad with onions tomatoes & pickles, the homemade tarter is unique is an acquired taste (onion flavor & onion pieces) overall excellent & will definitely be going back!!!!!

The prices of the fish has gone up but the size is smaller they have no refund. Not worth the money

Fish not worth the money way too small. I spoke to someone he told me his dad was the owner and he's aware of the size of the catfish I didn't get full I had a 5 piece . Some pieces was cooked away no white inside

5 piece fish fillet. DFW's Best!

FIVE STARS. Yelpers! We owe this place a community apology. Post this all over social media: "Attention all DFW residents and tourists! If fried fish is in your culinary plans (and approved by your doctor), race over to Fort Worth Seafood right now!" They cook old school, crispy, flavor-packed seafood! Fort Worth Seafood serves some of the best fried catfish in the country. Seafood market and restaurant rolled into one great crave-fulfilling destination. To prevent any misunderstanding: This is not a hipster, trendy, upscale location. It's a fish joint, so order your fish - wait for 20 minutes in your car, go back in and get your fish and leave. I am a food lover...not a restaurant atmosphere lover. Not a customer service lover. Not a food critic... simply a fan of the best foods and now, a fan of Fort Worth Seafood. I nominate this fine establishment to be DFW's #1 Fish Joint.

Photo is the almost aftermath...lol...now let me finish the damage...lol

Just finished eating fish plate from here and it was delicious!! Oh my gosh, I am truly satisfied. My only complaint is that the fish wasn't bigger...lol. And the the tartar sauce, omg, was to die for! I would buy the tartar sauce by the jar!! And to top it off was a slice of pecan pie... I could live at this place!! Best meal I've had in a very long time!! I will definitely be back for more!!

This place hooked me UP for the crawfish boil!! One stop shop!

Do not be fooled by the area that its in. I needed some last minute crawfish for my Sunday funday gathering and a friend of mine from New Orleans told me FW Seafood is where its at. So you know when someone straight from crawfish country recommends a place to get those bad boys you had better look into it. I called the night before to order and wanted them boiled and ready for pickup the next morning. They were able to get me some delicious fresh ones first thing in the morning! They were seasoned just perfectly, not too salty and just the right amount of heat. My friends raved about them! I was so happy I was able to make this happen especially with it being a last minute type of situation. I believe if you order them raw they are about $3.99 a pound, a couple bucks more for cooked. This place also has a restaurant side where you can get some delicious catfish and other items! So if you are a seafood lover do not pass this place by, Especially if you are looking for crawfish. This without a doubt is my new go to seafood spot in DFW! It was worth the drive.

2 piece boneless catfish basket with fries, toast and pickes included. Total w/ tax $7.57

We had the #6, fried fish and shrimp. It was excellent- lightly breaded, fresh, and large portions. Highly recommend!

Recently spent $50.00 on catfish filets. They were slimy and smelly when I got home. Had to throw them all out.

My wife went for a long browse and shop today. What a cool store, with awesome grocery food…read moreoptions, especially meats. Wild is truth! Healthy stuff, tasty (just had the cod and mixed vegetables), and the prices are very reasonable! Surprised. Definitely will be going back regularly. I ordered a grass fed rib eye, short ribs, gravlax, sweet Italian sausage, and mild Italian sausage. I can't give everything 5 stars. The short ribs were way better than expected - I read lots of complaints about them being all fat, but mine were fantastic. We made a dinner out of them and used the leftovers to chop up into scrambled eggs this week for breakfast. The only issue I had there was that they come in a bag that is not vacuum sealed, so they looked really freezer burned and dry. I guess if the flavor was good, they were fine? But they really should consider vacuum sealing these. The rib eye was not as red as it should have been. It seemed a bit brown, as though it had slightly oxidized before being vacuum sealed. And it was very small, only 12 ounces. I expected at least a pound. Lox was very flavorful, albeit a bit leathery/dry. Again, like the rib eye, it seems like it was a bit oxidized before being vacuum sealed. Sausages were good - as long as you vacuum seal sausage, it's fine frozen and really just a matter of personal taste. Ordering and delivery process were easy and efficient. No complaints there. I will definitely try them again, with a keen eye on reviews of specific products so I know what to expect.

Saturday 7/26/25 I drove 22 miles from Wylie got there at 2:20pm for Buffalo fish. Since I was…read morethere also picked up some catfish for a Sunday fish fry.. Now the sign said they cut fish so this leads me to believe they cut like you ask.. I wanted a steak cut so all bones would be in a central location.. The guy there was not very help maybe he didnt understand but then he shouldn't be there in front addressing customers if he cannot give customers what they are asking for or explain what can be done. All he said that I really got was that I had to buy the whole fish, which was fine cuz I needed a lot. I'm asking questions trying to make sure I get what I'm asking for but was not really getting clear answers, so I just let him to him since HE's the professional and cuts fish everyday! Now my family buys buffalo fish in Memphis TN all the time, we always got card game and family fish fry's going. So my expectations were really high because Id found a fish market like home, has buffalo, and the place been around since 1950, I research everything reviews were iffy but they were dated or filtered. HOWEVER, I GAVE THEM BENEFIT OF DOUBT and TOO MUCH CREDIT!! I get home open up the package like WTF, half a head, the tail, fins attached and everything butcher in between. The smell was so bad so, of course I wash it really well, but the smell barely faded. So I'm standing there looking at all this butchered ass fish mangled and such and I couldn't bring myself to chance it with my family so I threw it out!! $67.78 GONE!! Catfish was fine but I literally had to regroup, run to Walmart for Tilapia! Super disappointed! What's funny though.. on my way out the door I joked and asked... "there's no head in here right" he smiled and shook his head "no". But I DID HAVE HALF THE HEAD LESS THE EYES! I started to call but really don't think they care much about customers service, customer satisfaction, or customer reviews but KNOW THIS, I will not be back, I don't have money to loose and shouldnt have this type of nonsense when spending money with a company that's been around this long.. It's shameful on the owners part! MY $67.78 GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!! What could be done to IMPROVE LISTEN better. ANSWER questions asked!!!! PROVIDE understanding for those NOT in the fish industry. HIRE knowledgeable people that CAN speak English and know their TRADE.... TRAIN your workers!! CHECK fish for quality DONT SELL BAD FISH... END GOAL.... Don't sell bad fish!!!

We were very warmly greeted by a gentleman who I think must be an owner or major stakeholder. He gave us a quick history of the place and was fast to recommend the prime rib po boy sandwich. We ordered one to split, and it came with seasoned fries. The sandwich came out quickly, and the meat was tender with just the right amount of slightly spicy horseradish sauce. Yum. I definitely want to come back for the signature prime rib on a Friday or Saturday. That meatloaf sounds tempting too, and the brisket mac and cheese caught my eye. Looks like I will need to come back a few times.

We were starving so stayed and had catfish plate and smoked turkey sandwich. This is the first time we were not super satisfied with our meals. Maybe it was because we were looking forward to brisket tacos & chicken & waffles. We had great service from Nathan! We grabbed some meat to bring home. Love making griddle burgers with the flurry grind.
