The market is exceptionally clean, well organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything was neatly displayed, making it easy to browse without feeling rushed. Working behind the counter was Ms. Jenna. She greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly, welcoming attitude that made us feel right at home. She kindly let us know that if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. We took our time wandering through the store, looking at all the unique items they had to offer. I couldn't leave empty-handed, so I picked up two bags of their chipotle-flavored pecans as souvenirs for my brothers. Whether they'll share them with anyone else is another story entirely. The Homestead Market is a really neat place and well worth a visit. I have no doubt I'll be back the next time I'm in the area. Maybe I'll see you there!

I like shopping here because you can get a lot for your money and the generic brands are just as good if not better then name brand foods. The store reminds me a lot of a Save-a-Lot store. Just more groceries for the buck. Unfortunately there is not as much verity as a bigger franchise so what you can not find at Aldi you have to get somewhere else. That is okay with me. Quick in and out. Save here and save there. It is so worth it! Just a quick list: small selection of candies, lots of different kind of chips, condiments, great selection of spices, some selections of salad dressings, non food items like outdoor items and cook ware, good selection of breads, small selection of meats, milk, eggs, pastas, pizza (frozen and prepare yourself), sodas and other items. Just go see for yourself and see how much money you save! Most everything is under $5.00. A lot of the items is even under $1.00! Just check it out!

It's the only place in Waco proper we've found affordable Indian and Japanese food ingredients. The place can look dubious at times, but they're really striving to clean and organize the store. I only stopped in to use the restroom, but I have to give credit where it's due. The stall I used…read morewas exceptionally clean. The toilet paper dispenser was fully stocked, and I appreciated that the toilet had a hands-free flush. The inside of the toilet was clean as well--no stains or grime--which tells me the restrooms are cleaned and maintained regularly. The entire restroom smelled like it had just been sanitized with a bleach-based cleaner, which was reassuring. My only concern was with the paper towels. Instead of being in a dispenser, the rolls were sitting directly on the counter. That meant I had to handle the entire roll just to tear off a few sheets, which didn't feel very sanitary in an otherwise spotless restroom. Overall, this was one of the cleaner Walmart restrooms I've used. With a proper paper towel dispenser, it would have been an excellent experience.
