I could spend hours here. Day trip in Waco and read tips to stop here for all the small retail vendors to shop from, where you can find pretty much anything. From clothes to jewelry, home decor, memorable, food, and more. Staff was friendly and cute set up that's easy to get lost in. I loved the jewelry selection and picked up some pieces. It's located on the 2nd floor and get ready to shop for all the gifts you need. read more

Absolutely adore Spice Village. It's a great way to support local shops away from the hub-bub of the Magnolia compound frenzy. It's located on a second floor (stair and elevator access) and there are so many good things as far as the eye can see. It's a collective of local shops and proprietors selling their wares. Anything and everything you can think of can be bought here: Menswear Ladies wear Kids wear Baby wear Accessories Jewelry Antiques Housewares Candles Makeup Toys Perfume Crafts Texas-themed merch Bath bombs Bath salts Body spray Towels Lotions Wellness products Facial products Hair products Wine Candy Cards Spices Kitschy things Lawn decor Dried flowers Furniture Dishes Essential oils Magnets Stickers Drinkware Need I go on? Seriously SO MUCH good stuff. Great place to get lost in for an hour or two. read more

Cute place to stop in Waco! All the hype is around Magnolia and I feel like people don't bother looking to see what other hidden gems are in the area. This was a fun spot to browse, lots of different little "vendors" in one shop with one check-out. Friendly workers and welcoming. Lots of little hidden treasures. read more

Spice Village came highly recommended during our trip to Waco. It was full of unique finds and friendly staff, so I can see why so many people were excited about it! This place is pretty sprawling. It was really easy to get lost in here. I wasn't super impressed with the selection (lots of cheap plastic earrings and "boutique" clothes), but there were a few unique booths full of vintage finds that I loved sorting through. The prices can be high, depending on the booth, but there are some great deals hidden away. You can find a lot of fun, trendy giftable items here too. I definitely think that Spice Village is worth at least a quick stop while in Waco. read more

Cute little shopping area in Waco. You can find some nice little things decently priced while other things are junky and overly priced. But it was fun to walk around and look at things. The staff was a little rude, but it may have been because it was a Saturday and they were busy. read more

A cool spot to check out when in downtown Waco. It's a bunch of stand alone boutiques under one roof . All items are price marked then you go to the register like normal. There is a lot of cute stuff. I saw that you can buy a canned alcoholic drink and stroll through the store. The store has their own unique candle scent. That smells so inviting. read more

What a precious shopping area! We enjoyed looking at all the shops throughout the upstairs. Had anything you could possibly want, from boutique clothes to candles. We had only finished looking at half the shops and wanted to go to lunch so the sweet girls at the checkout counter held our things while we ran to eat. The selection had various prices so you could find your budget items. Fun place to shop for sure! read more

Cute little series of curated shops away from the Magnolia frenzy. Good variety of unique items. Important hint for the seniors among us, walk past the daunting staircase and you will find the more convenient elevator. Happy shopping! read more

This was a super cute place! Multiple mini shops inside one building. Greeters and register employees were friendly but some of the ladies walking around were not very friendly. Like most tourist spots and local shops -- prices are high. Lots of candles, spices, gadgets, trinkets, clothings, souvenirs and home decor and so much more. It's good to support these local businesses. We'd still come back to visit. read more

Wonderful shopping experience. Two friends of mine and I came in from Granbury and spent at least two hours in the store. It's definitely a place to go to if you'd love to shop for things that are different from clothes to seasonings to antiques to hair, accessories, etc. the staff are wonderfully nice and efficient when it's busy. Sketchy location, drunks yelling obscenities outside. Very cute inside- lots of eclectic little shops with clothing and souvenirs. Most disappointing was that every single thing I looked at was made in China. Walked around but didn't purchase anything. Didn't come all the way to Waco to buy Chinese imported products. read more

We went on a quick overnight girls trip to Waco & stopped here for shopping. The stores are upstairs but the do have elevators so don't let that scare you. Love this place! Highly recommend to come here when visiting Waco. You will for sure spend 1 hour or more at this store. It has so many selections of gifts, clothes, kitchenware, souvenirs, and so much more. Be sure to walk through every aisle. I like this place because it's made of of several boutiques and small shops. I like how it gives opportunities for various vendors to showcase their work. There is also lots of Waco merche in case you are visiting and want something that has Waco in it (patches, stickers, sweaters, shirts, cups - you name it). TIP: The Spice Village store is located on the second floor. You will access the entrance from the parking lot (thru the double doors to the right of the sign that says "Trojan Cork & Keg) It was me and my husband's first time coming here and we made the mistake of walking around the whole building not knowing what door to go thru. Spice village is one of my favorite places to go in Waco! I could spend hours here! Spice village is a huge store with smaller retail sellers inside, like an antique store but with really cute and fun things to buy. There's clothes, shoes, baby things, accessories, home decor, a little of everything! I noticed that items tend to be a little overpriced, but sometimes you can find sale items! I also noticed that some of the younger employees sometimes have snotty attitudes, but I just smile and move on. If you love shopping, spice village is a must, at least once! read more

This is a must stop for shopping when visiting Waco. You can find your norm shopping malls but this is a place that has alittle of everything clothes, baby items, shoes, house items , holiday, nik nacks, jewelry, a lot of TX souvenirs. It's a place to wonder around and just have fun looking. Great place for gifts. When u walk in you see decorated stairs straight up....... lucky for me, behind is a elevator. It's kinda hard to figure out which area you've already seen but I did find a place to sit for a few minutes. They have about 3 registers so it's quick to pay. read more

Amazing shopping center. Very eclectic, could spend hours here each time we come. Centrally located & very walkable.

Spice Village is a must stop on anyone's tour of Waco.... particularly if the country - farmhouse vibe is your thing. It's a cornucopia of little shops, each selling their wares and working to get grow into their own brick and mortar space. Several places (like Harp Designs, I believe) started out here before moving on to their own spaces (and yeah, Chip and Jo also had A LOT to do with that!). So many shops here, ranging from clothes to spices to home decor to jewelry to random fun gifts. As others have shared, it's not incredibly kid friendly as the aisles are narrow and each and every corner is filled with something to feast your eyes on and tempt your wallet. That said, come with a hefty dose of patience and lots of time to kill. Who knows what you'll find! It was a cool adventure that we loved every minute of. We picked up some fabulous olive oil and balsamic vinegar to take back with us. The samples sold us - so good! Stop by when you're in town and have an afternoon to spare. Super fun! read more

When visiting downtown Waco, this store is a must-visit for souvenir or gift shopping. They offer a variety of local and national products, including Baylor University merchandise. Spice Village is such a neat place to while the afternoon away. Parking is a pain in the patootie, but we circled around a few times and were finally rewarded for our efforts. There is something for everyone at Spice Village. I overheard someone tell her friend- if you see something you like, buy it because it may not be there next time. That's legit shopping advice right there. I picked up a candle from Circle E and a kitschy card. I loved browsing all the "stalls" and saw a lot of cool, cool things. The men's restroom has changing tables if you've got young'uns with you! read more

WOW! This store is AMAZING! It has so many cute dresses, beautiful jewelry, gift ideas, home decor etc... My head was spinning there was SO MUCH to look at. One trip is definitely not enough. The prices are ok... some items are a bit over priced but most other things are average price- wise. There are a lot of sales people to point you in the right direction too if you are looking for a specific item, so that is helpful. The store is also situated next to a few restaurant/bar type places within the same building, so shopping & lunch are a good plan if you go here. read more

You have to come here if you are in the mood for boutique shopping in Waco. It's upstairs from the restaurant, but there are so many boutiques crammed into one space. This is great for apparel, especially Baylor apparel for game day. Our family had such a nice time shopping here. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good. None of the vendors are crappy or anything. It's all stuff you would actually want to buy. read more

What a cute shop! So many nooks and crannies to shop through. Definitely worth a browse.

I visited Spice Village on March 12, 2024 with my daughter, granddaughters and one 4 yr old and one 5 year old great granddaughters. Our experience was great until we saw a display of sexually explicate books, toys for young children...showing male and female body parts- in easy reach of the children. Other items were sacrilegious showing Taylor Swift and other celebrities in head-dress depicting what would be a king or queen crown that normally Jesus would wear or has been shown wearing. This display was meant to attract the young children. Why would you allow this...Is it the money from sales...or do you not care that our children are being over sexualized? Not even a fun weekend could we go without this. I hope you will reconsider this display. Thank You. Wanda Arnold 2010 Lee St Brenham, TX 77833 read more

This is a really cool place! It's a several blocks from Magnolia Silos and worth walking to. On the way you can hit up the Dr Pepper Museum, which is worth a stop too. Spice Village is the thing that makes every man cringe. This place is huge. My wife is going to be here for hours. What am I going to do? Where's a chair? Yes, Spice Village is shopping nirvana. A crafters gallery may have 100 booths. I think Spice Village has 500. Even I stayed interested about an hour. Anything you could possibly put a price tag on is inside this building.
