There's a huge assortment of pretty styles and colors. This store is a great place to buy my daughter gifts. On a recent weekend trip to Arlington, we made it point to spend the day in Waco with the sole purpose of visiting Magnolia Market and the famed Silos! While it didn't take us a full day, we did spend a good 3 hours at the market. Magnolia Market is definitely more than just a market, it's a full experience with plant stores, design centers, furniture stores, a coffee shop, donut counter, baseball field, food trucks, garden, a bakery and of course, the silos themselves. We took it all in with a few favorite spots being the coffee shop, bakery, garden and cottage shops! There is no entry fee, its piece rate, so you pay for what you want as you go through. You can legit just wander around and it costs nothing. We ended up with a few hats, candles, sweet teas in mason jars, cookies and a few gifts for folks back home. All worth it! Service was phenomenal from entry to exit, at every outlet and shop, the folks were beyond friendly and helpful. It was honestly impressive! The space flows really well from shops into public space back into eateries or other shops. It's well kept, and very clean. Parking is also very convenient and free, as there is a dedicated gravel lot a block over from the coffee shop. Overall, our time at Magnolia was worth the drive, time and money spent! Writing a review for Silos at Magnolia under "Magnolia Market" is akin to writing a review for the United Kingdom under "England", since the market is only one element, but since the Silos page doesn't exist, here were are. The Silos at Magnolia has several distinct venues that cater to shopping, dining, and family activities, including... Magnolia Market (the massive flagship store located in a historic grain barn, with a wide array of home decor, kitchenware, and lifestyle products and a lesser-known rooftop hangout); Magnolia Home (interior design showroom); Shops at the Silos, including The Flower Shoppe, No. 16, The Souvenir Shop, The Art of Entertaining, Weekend, and Homebody; Silos Baking Co, built from the flower shop Chip used to buy flowers for Joanna when they first dated (many of the items are found in the bakery food truck at a fraction of the line); Magnolia Press Coffee Company; Food Truck Park (in April, they had about eight, specializing in pizza, hot dogs, grilled cheese, sushi, etc). This might include the separate, seemingly standalone Well Rounded Mini Donuts; Katy Field, a small-scale wiffle ball field that honors Katy Park's history as a pro baseball location (one of the first stadiums to install lights for night games and home to a 1929 exhibition game with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, honored with bronze scuptures) the Garden (and Magnolia Seed & Supply Co), providing a one-third acre of serenity. One-third? With this fertilizer, it smells more like one-turd, am I right?; (I kid) the Main Lawn (park-like w/ backyard games); and The Old Church (1894 chapel to be exact) where you can pray your wife doesn't order that $1,860 dresser she saw. Magnolia is somewhere between "minimalist hipster", "modern farmhouse industrial wedding" and "polished but muted Martha Stewart in her 30s", which means it is curated, pricey, and attractive. The crowd was a little too "ABC's the View Studio Audience" and there were so many women there I began spotting. Nonetheless, it's worth a visit. And it's nice that the Gaines family managed to take the Waco name back from the famous 1993 siege. Now they just need to buy up property in Jonestown. read more

I really like visiting Waco, it's a quintessential Texas town. The Chip & Joanna Grimes compound in the heart of Waco captures the essence of the town. The main building has multiple shops within it where you can buy decor for your home, kitchen accessories, dried floral arrangements, candles, pillows. Really just about everything you could need or want. Of course they've got souvenirs as well. Honestly, even if you're not in the market for something, it's a great place to stroll through and "window shop" for new ideas. read more

My 3rd time visiting and I just feel it gets better!! The first visit was around COVID so it wasn't as magical in it's fullest capacity, but was able to snag some of the famous desserts to take back with us! 2nd time around was with my girlfriend and her son since they haven't been and it was our half way point to Dallas, definitely better vibes BUT it was also raining haha so you can imagine how that was with kids running around playing in the rain and some of the yard toys haha... also not all the food trucks weren't open so we didn't have the chance to try some of the options available. Now this recent visit, a LOT more livelier, busy for sure so parking was harder this time around, there were paid lots near by so we just sucked up the $10 all day parking to avoid hunting around and waste time looking around for another 15 mins. Anyways, all the little boutiques, food trucks and of course bakery and main stores were open and available to check out! Very fun vibes and lots of different options to try! We tried the grilled cheese truck, the sweet tea truck, the asian bowl truck, and the mini donuts (which were fresh btw was SO good!!). I'd love to come back in the near future as there's still so much to check out and just enjoy the vibes there, so fun and refreshing!! read more

After my conference ended, I decided to make one final stop in Waco, TX at Magnolia Market at the Silos, also often affectionately known as "Magnolia City". This planned and designed area was developed by Chip and Joanna Gaines, the husband-and-wife team from the much-touted HGTV's Fixer Upper show. Magnolia Market at the Silos is a hometown experience that blends small city charm, modern farmhouse looks, and a sense of community into one fell swoop. This property spans over two acres and is anchored by the iconic twin silos, which once belonged to the Magnolia Seed and Feed Company. While it was crowded on Saturday, the design layout is thoughtfully spread out the folks visiting Magnolia City with open lawns, some shaded seating, and an opportunity for a relaxed visit. At Magnolia Market you can find curated selection of home decor, kitchenware, furniture, and lifestyle goods patterned after the Gaines' signature style. I meandered through a store featuring Christmas ornaments. You can also find shops with household and entertainment goods. Magnolia City is place where you can stay a while to enjoy food and drinks. Silos Baking Co. offers sweet treats such as a lavender latte or classic cupcakes. Of course, there are my favorite food trucks serving tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches, snow cones, lemonade, and coffee. You can also find folks playing lawn games near a shaded picnic area that make it appealing for groups and family gatherings. Magnolia City is open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The operating hours allow for a leisurely stroll through the property with punctuated stops at your favorite locations. The good news that it is $0 cost to get into Magnolia City and there some free parking nearby. Whether you are a Fixer Upper fan or just looking for a welcoming place to spend the day, Magnolia Market is the place to relax and stay a while. read more

Such a beautiful space! This is a MUST if you are passing through or even in somewhat close proximity. I absolutely loved visiting. The church was my favorite, with the biscuits and the most esquisite "gathered" 3 wick bowl candle coming in close for second. We tried cupcakes, cookies and biscuits. I'd say the biscuits cannot not be ordered. I happened upon one of my favorite fragrances Tocca Florence in one of the small shops and was due for a new bottle so made this purchase. The sprawling property really impressed if I'm being completely honest. I loved the garden and although the small workshop was closed when we visited I think it'd be a super cute, peaceful experience to do a flower/leaf pressing here. The bakery didn't have tea and I really wanted a tea, to our surprise a tea truck is there! We enjoyed two mason jar teas while exploring. Loved the visit! If I find myself nearby I'm definitely stopping here again. I may even drive over specifically for a visit if I feel inclined although a good couple of hours from me. I purchased a copy of the Fall Magnolia Journal which got me their entire year (one per quarter) subscription. I'd be lying to say I have any more than the slightest clue who Joanna Gaines is. I know! Gasp! but I don't. So... for whatever it's worth, if you aren't a fan of sort- you'll still very much enjoy a visit if you're into beautifully curated spaces, tasty treats, home goods, fresh air, sunshine, outdoor spaces, and really just a very delightful and enjoyable area to relax, shop, eat and explore. read more

Very interesting place in a nice venue to visit. Prices in the Magnolia store vary from affordable to expensive I will say that I was a little disappointed in the fact that many of their items are from China. There's other shops outside of that on the same grounds and that's really nice as well. It was a nice experience. Staff is very friendly. The actual silo are closed at this time. They were found to be unstable. But the shops that were in the Silos are in another building right across from them. read more

Very very pricey, but I still got suckered in and bought stuff. The items aren't Made in China, but primarily Made in India. Lots of items are unique. We were here midweek, so the crowds weren't as detailed in many reviews reported. The grounds tour takes you to a perch where one can take photos of the silos from a 4th floor deck. Stopped at The Silos on our way from Austin to Dallas. It was POURING rain so we were lucky the food trucks were under cover. We ordered pizzas from I Pizza (3 pepperoni and 1 cheese) and a hot dog from Frenchie's (The Pimento), plus iced tea from the Alabama Sweet Tea Company (in an awesome mason jar). This is a cool place to visit from a historic perspective, but shopping here will cost a lot more than anywhere else. Case in point, I took an image of a pickleball pack. It was $28. Here with the exact mtg pack on eBay for $6.99. That's a considerable markup. We did the 45-min walking tour which is $25.00. If you go with the mindset that you'll be spending money for Target-type decor, it will be a great trip! It's a beautiful area that's large and spaced out so enough people can walk around and see many things. Lots of shops (yes, money grab, asking $20-50 for mugs, keychains, shirts, etc.), but the silos and garden and bakery are a must! I'm not a huge HGTV fan but I still found it beautiful and a great way to spend an hour or two. We parked down the street in a free parking area and walked a block or two. We were in Dallas for the week and my wife was excited to check this place out. It's about an hour and a half away from Dallas. It's a great concept and very family oriented place. A little too family oriented in a sense of no alcohol, not ideal. We had minimal contact with staff, but they seemed nice. There was a lot of food trucks to have food there. The lines were a little long. They had an area where you could have your kids run around and play. They even had a very cool baseball fields for the kids to play as well. The whole experience is free for the public and worth a visit. They had all types of shops from candles to furniture and even Christmas decorations. A beautiful shopping area, with little cottage shops and one big one. The food truck area is perfect for eating outdoors, enjoying family and friends. The food trucks each have their own specialties from hotdogs to baked goods. Shopping prices are moderate to high, but the quality of the items are good. I had a bit of an issue with ordering my cupcakes from the baked goods food truck as the young lady took my order and then just stood there by the register not assembling my order. The other young lady gave out coffee to the customers that were in front of me, then left the truck. I waited another 10 minutes for my two cupcakes and finally addressed the young lady that took my order and asked her about my cupcakes, and she says, well I don't get the cupcakes, the other girl does. I asked her if they were out of the ones I ordered, and she said only take the orders. I then asked her, Can I just get my cupcakes? And finally, she relented and provided me with my order. Apparently, there is a serious training issue here. I forgot to take pictures of my cupcakes, but I got the Lavender Lemon and the Strawberry one. The cake part was really good on both; however, way too much frosting for my liking. I scraped most of it off as did my husband. read more

Beautiful market with well-laid-out grounds! So glad I finally visited Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Market--perfect for a road trip stop, especially for Fixer Upper fans! We found the Magnolia Market that has two silo farm markets. The magnolia market is located in the historic district and walking distance from doctor pepper museum. The market is one of the biggest attractions in this city. The two big silo are the landmark attraction. Great photo opportunity. Love this big compound have many to offer. The perfect spot for a girl's trip!!! I found this place to be very intentionally designed and well thought-out! There are soo many cute photo ops. You can easily spend 4+ hours here, meandering the bakery, the large Magnolia shop, the food trucks, the little redone church, and the square of cute shops. We came in the afternoon and didn't realize that the grounds close early at 6pm so we didn't get to explore everything. The food we got from the food trucks were delicious - the sweet iced tea, the grilled cheese sandwiches, the lemonade were all spot on. Family-friendly as well, I saw a lot of little ones and there's a large outdoor green area in the middle that they can play on. I almost got hit with a soccer ball haha. Parking is street parking in the surrounding roads, fortunately it's free. I will be visiting again to hit the spots I missed the first time! read more

This place is very sweet. They have so many items for your home. I love their candle holders and candles. Unfortunately didn't buy candles to go with my holder in fear of it melting due to the long drive home in hot weather. But I can't wait to use my holders! I also bought some tea towels. They are so soft like as if they were made from flour sacks. I also bought them with the salt and pepper shakers with flowers in them for some of my friends to give as Christmas gifts. The prices are reasonable. They also sell Magnolia t-shirts and sweatshirts which I didn't purchase. The cashiers are a little too busy talking before they realize you are waiting for them to ring you up. Other than that I'd go back again. read more

It's good! There are many facets to the Magnolia Market & Garden. The market is chock-full of great finds for a farmhouse chic feel and aesthetic for home decor, clothing, and knickknacks. Also-- the people (locals and visitors alike) are piling in to see and get their hands on a piece of the empire. There's a sale section, and a discounted "dent and scratch" section (very smart). The Magnolia compound is family-friendly w/ a guestbook to sign. (Yet another clever idea). On the whole, Chip and Joanna have done (and continue to do) a great thing here for the Waco community-- and they're doing it right! read more

I am very disappointed I will just begin with how I have been a fan watching from the beginning and then visiting the shops while here visiting family. This was my must do when coming to Texas. Although on my last visit I unfortunately had a fall while at the Silos. Both knees and hands were affected, my left knee being the worst this took place on November 5, 2015. I did report it and the security team took my information to date I have not heard from anyone to see if I am doing okay or if I have healed. I am a 64 year old woman and still have a scab on my left knee and some pain. I believe it is safe to say I will NOT be visiting again and taking my time to support such an uncaring business!!
