Came to Waco because my wife wanted to visit the Chip & Joanna Magnolia store. But we found this place to be the highlight of our trip. Spent an hour browsing looking through some cool stuff. My son got a great deal on his comic books . Thanks to the owner. My son left happy. Currently looking and reading them on the way back home to McKinney. Worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. Great little shop with really friendly owners. My girls loved seeing the rabbits and chickens here. My husband was mesmerized with all the little trinkets and Swiss knives of all kinds. If we didn't have just carry ons for luggage, we would have gotten some stuff here. Even though we didn't get anything, the owners were so friendly, they made us fall in love with Washington because they're so friendly and reminds us of how friendly WA people are. We even got into a few discussions together about music, art, children, the state flower and animals. I definitely want to come back here for some of the tea cups! read more

I like stop here when I'm in waco hitting the antique stores. I can usually find smalls to use in my art projects. They also carry the IOD line which is great for DIY projects. 1/2 the space is now comedy club-don't let that stop you from going in & checking it out! read more

This place is fan-freakin-tastic. We bought a very cool Donovan Greatest Hits album for $3. We bought a very hard to find vintage vase in the color and pattern that I collect for a reasonable price. We did not buy but marveled at a million different things. They do have some oddities. Not sure what I would do with a big doll leg, but I'm glad to know where one is in case I have a doll-leg emergency. They have really cool vintage clothes, jewelry, funky furniture, glassware, home wares, comics, albums and just all kinds of fun stuff. But if you are looking specifically for SAVAGE FINDS, it's hard because all the signs leading you there just say "Antiques" and we were not sure we were headed the right way. Passing through Waco on my home from a road trip we were taking through north Texas, and stopped to visit Magnolia for the first time. As I was walking to Magnolia this place caught my eye and I vowed to go back before leaving. Magnolia was lovely but overpriced and didn't stay as long as I imagined I would. Came back to this shop and spent more time here than I did for what I had originally come for! Prices are GREAT, I definitely didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. Shop is wonderful and there's so many cool things to look at. My fiancé got some vintage soda bottles and I bought a 6-pane window frame for a wedding DIY I wanted to do. Owner was incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend this place. Can't wait to return! read more

Cute little shop right in the heart of downtown Waco! Interesting variety of things to look through, from depression glass, records, and dental impression molds (with patient names still on them - yikes!) to larger scale art and furniture. Because of the proximity to all things Magnolia, I was anticipating outlandish prices, but for the most part, cost was moderate. I ended up taking home a few interesting pieces for about $50. Savage loses a star for pricing integrity. I've been on the hunt for a large gilded mirror, and found a great specimen in one of the first booths. It was labeled $25 on the back, so I brought it up to the counter to start a pile. A few minutes later, the lady working there found me and said that the price tag had been from "two sales ago" and that the actual price, not labeled anywhere on the piece, was $85. Maybe it was a totally honest mistake and someone really didn't look at it before this thing went up for sale and really didn't put a price tag on it themselves, but the sudden upcharge of $60 made me feel like a mark, and as a result, I passed on it. Some you win, some you lose. Still worth a look for curios and such when in Waco! read more

Dont let anyones comment stop you from NOT visiting this place. You have to really take your time and look around or else you will pass up some great finds. I actually bought a piece the owner did herself. She has several other pieces up in the store as well and I cant wait to see what else she makes next. The owners drove all the way from Waco to us in Carrollton to deliver our deer head!! I love it! The owner is def very talented. This place has been mentioned on the Travel Channel and its cute, funky, and fun! Cant wait to buy more! read more

Must visit here!!!! . So I was so disappointed to come to Waco and find every store closed on a Sunday and than I found this place! They are OPEN on Sunday!!! What a gem!! The owners were so fun, friendly, and welcoming! And nothing here is made in China!!! It's all real one of a kind antiques, salvage goods and smalls! I bought a beautiful hand made wall plaque that came from Germany, made in 1958 for only 35.00, some beautiful antique drawer pulls, and a beautiful antique brooch from the 30's. There was a treasure of drafting table I was drooling over. It was beautiful! This place is a true gem in Waco, a must visit!!! read more

Most of the building is set up for a comedy club comedy. The antique section is less than half of the store. I saw nothing of any interest. Definitely not worth dealing with the Magnolia crowds to be there 5 mins. I'd pass on it if you are looking for antiques. read more

Although my husband and I couldn't buy anything big since we're out-of-towners, we found a brilliant selection of ink and paint stamps. The nice woman who worked there took the time to answer our questions and demonstrate the products. We have a huge concrete basement floor that we intend to stain and the large floor stamp will be perfect! We are so excited! Great customer service! She even gave us her card in case we have questions. I wish this type of service was the norm!!! read more

Absolutely one of my favorite shops to visit in Waco. Fun inventory as you're likely to find what you are looking for. The wall art on the side of the building is a must photo opportunity. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. This is a must stop! read more

We booked a tour through Airbnb to tour Waco that met at Savage Finds and we are so happy it did. We chatted with Tammy before the tour and she gave us some great recommendations for things to do in Waco. We went to all of her recommendations and were very happy. They had a fun assortment of stuff to look at before we left for the tour. Our tour guide Joey was very knowledgeable and fun. He had lots of insider information and seems to really love his job. Later that night we went back there for their new comedy club which was also another highlight for us. Be sure to stop in here on your trip to Waco! read more

Love this store! I stopped by over the weekend to browse around. The owners are sooooo sweet and have such great finds at super affordable prices! That's key that they don't overcharge for their items like many other antique/vintage stores I've found in Washington. I could have spent hours here but they were closing up so I'm just excited to come back and keep browsing around. I'm sure they have different items on a weekly basis which is another bonus. The selection of antiques is not that big and the place is a little dirty. The outside of the building is painted which led me to believe it was more put together on the inside but I was mistaken. Prices are a bit too high on most of the goods and there are other antique shops in the Waco area that I prefer over this one. Will probably not visit here again. read more

If you are going to have a live mascot, please, at least, learn some basic care. This rabbit is living in its own feces, without its primary food, Hay. There is no bedding or even a litter box. Please, learn something and show others that maybe you take an interest in what is in your place. read more

This store is an awesome spot run by some awesome people. Great selection, reasonable prices, fun atmosphere, and super cool owners. RECENTLY RELOCATED to Old Downtown Snoqulamie, the shop is now bigger and even better. Highly recommended for locals and out-of-towners who like to peruse collectibles and vintage gems. I can just feel the excitement as I open the door to this great shop. Wild Hare is every treasure hunter's dream. I pop in here every few months and always manage to find some trinket, bauble,or piece of architectural salvage I can't live without. Love this place. I have gotten some incredible items and always get a good deal. Every week there is a bunch of new things to look at. They have a VERY LOVED AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF bunny rabbit that puts a smile on the non-crazy clientele. An awesome shop filled with vintage and antique treasures! The two owners must be two of the hardest working people, as they constantly have really cool items, new to the store! Tammy is constantly painting a new piece or "blinging" something out! They've come a long way since Nescafe. Even Starbucks has a product for home use sold at Costco that's 100% Arabica. Yum! Much of the front half of the store was clothing and shoes for the entire family. A second section held everything for the home and you just had to wade through it. The store was clean and everything was labeled. Not everything appeared to be functional which was worrisome. There was a fair amount of new product, though, in the original packaging all over the store. I got lucky. Amongst the old Mr. Coffee carafes and hotel/motel mini pots, I spotted something I'd never seen - a 4 cup glass EVENFLO infant formula measuring pitcher. I had to Google it. Circa 1950's, the infant formula EVENFLO glass pitcher was a promotional giveaway for expectant moms and is attributed to the Pyrex company, although not marked as such! I paid $5.99 and I saw online prices starting at three times that and up to $60 for one like mine in perfect condition. It is terrific for microwaving a liquid. I love using vintage kitchen tools and dishes and this one is as old as I am!! We'll age together. It was a good shopping experience. The staff was friendly and checkout was not too much of a wait. I would go back. The facility is relatively new and well cared for.
