This is a nice resale shop it has good quality clothes. The trade in is so easy and amazing and you get great pay for what you turn. I have shopped here a couple of times, because i have found some good deals on some of the clothes. In my opinion most items here are over priced, but if you take the time to look through you will find some great deals. I must say they have some pullups called "Sleepovers" and they are truly priced to sale. 4.00 for the pack. They are all white but does not make a difference to me. they get the job done for night time sleep. simply amazing! read more

Not worth the 10 minute drive there. I work full time, as do most parents. Apparently you cannot bring in clothes to sell here on a Saturday. They only buy clothes before 5pm on weekdays... I was hoping to bring in a few bags of my kids clothes from last fall and put the credit towards fall clothes for them, but that definitely won't be happening with their inconvenient hours. This place is TERRIBLE!! My son fell down the stairs right out front of their store, and had to be taken to the hospital where he had a concussion and a black eye. We stood at the bottom of the three stairs right out the front door while he screamed his face off for ten minutes. There is no possible way the employees didn't hear him, because we were five feet away from both of the front doors that were wide open. Not one person came to apologize, offer help or condolence. I have heard stories where they accuse people of stealing who aren't, searched peoples belongings, and offered horrid shameful customer service. read more

I've been going here for years and have mixed experiences. Sometimes I'll walk out with an armload of good deals, other times I walk out with nothing. Two times (once before Christmas and once late summer) I brought in laundry baskets FULL of items and gotten what I felt was a fair price. This week, not so much; only got $7 for four items, but it beats nothing. This place is worth a visit. I go about every three or four months. They go though the items you bring in quickly and are super friendly. The place is very organized. They have a fun kids' salon in the back and make first haircuts a special thing. If you expect perfect-looking clothing AND bottom-dollar prices, then you just don't know about resale stores. Sometimes you get lucky, but in most cases you get what you pay for. The maternity selection at Smarty Pants has been awesome for me. Most items are about $7 and compared to what I pay new for Liz Lange from Target and Motherhood Maternity in the mall it saves me quite a bit of money. My kids aren't old enough to shop in the bigger sizes/ junior section but it looks like they have a pretty good selection. I also like looking at the shoes for kids and have found a few pairs for my son. If you are willing to pay $4-5 for used kids clothes then this is your store! If I am needing something bad enough that I'm willing to pay retail then I will go to Smarty Pants but I rarely find kids clothes. read more

I have been in here many times over the years. When I first started coming here it was great. They bought lots of clothes and I always bought from them as well. Within the last year or so it has gone down hill. The workers aren't as friendly and they buy next to nothing. I came today with a hamper full of clothes and got more excuses for why they couldn't my clothing than anything else. They wouldn't take my sons shoes because there was scuffing on the toes, yet they had boots that I wouldn't take to Goodwill on their shelves. When asked why I was so upset over them not taking hardly anything I told them why and that I drove 45 miles just to sell to them. I will definently not be going back. I wasted more in gas coming to Waco than I made. read more

This has got to be the worst consignment store in Waco. They over price the clothes,the staff is rude and refuses to treat customers with respect. The clothes look like crap but the store wants to charge full price plus some for almost everything in the store. I will never go back and use the power of social media so no one else gets ripped off!! They may be able to take off their horrible reviews on Facebook but you can't take this down! read more

This is truly one of the strangest consignments stores I have ever been to. All of the clothes that they have to available for purchase are from Walmart or Target and look like they've been worn and consigned again multiple times. As a consigner, I have taken NICE designer clothes to them - Matilda Jane, Persnickety, NorthFace, Juicy, Burburry, Vintage Couture, Mini Bodin, Gap, Ralph Lauren - they turn them down and act really snotty about it. I honestly can't figure it out. When they turn you down, they practically make up stuff to find "wrong" with the items. It is really strange. As a general rule, I don't consign items unless I would buy it myself. I would LOVE to find the items I have taken to them in their store. And as a consigner, I don't expect much for my items either. My goals are usually pretty simple - to get the items out of my house and perhaps make a little more than I would make at a garage sale (i.e. $1). My guess is that their clientele just doen't shop for those type of items. If they don't want designer or higher quality items, they should just say that. If I want to buy clothes from WalMart or Target, I will just go to WalMart or Target. If I want to buy used clothes from those places, I could just go to a garage sale and get a better deal. I just don't understand marketing yourself as a store that carries "high quality" items when that just isn't the case. If you are looking for higher quality, designer or name brand items in central Texas, stores like Peas and Tots are a much better option both for buying and selling. read more

Customer service is lacking in a large way. I used to love bringing clothes here to consign and always made decent $$$ but over the last year, it has gotten to where they rarely accept 1/2 of my items. I'm very picky and do not bring in anything that is worn out. If I wouldn't buy it myself, I won't bring it in to resale. When you ask what is wrong with an item, they will start picking it to pieces. Example: I brought in 2 pairs of shoes purchased less than 6 months ago. One was brand new, never worn. The other worn less than 10 times. No wear to the soles or inner. On the pair that had been worn 10 times or less, they found the *tiniest* of scuffs on the toe. I'm talking tiny. On the brand new pair, they said there was discoloration to the edges. I still can't see what she was referring to so maybe I need my eyes checked?! Looks perfectly normal to me & brand new like the day I purchased them. Both were boutique shoes, one of which was all leather. I could go on & on but if you've ever tried to consign here, you understand exactly what I'm referring to. Unfortunately, I wish I could say that I found amazing "like new" or "brand new" clothing & shoes to pick from. But, that is never the case. Many shirts were so worn from wash/wear. Shoes, especially the boots, that I'd have a hard time even selling at a garage sale. I'm not sure why there is such inconsistency but there is. If I'm told something can't be taken due to it being too worn or has a tiny flaw, then I'd better find a store FILLED with items in like new or brand new condition! Too bad it isn't because wouldn't that be nice?! If you visit their facebook page, you'll notice that all "posts to the page" have been disabled as well as the reviews that people have left for their business. If this is such a great business for our community, then there should be nothing to hide. The reviews & comments should be left public. We need a great kid's resale consignment store in Waco and, unfortunately, this one just doesn't cut it anymore. read more
