I am very disappointed in my trip to Walmart today. I have been going to this Walmart since it opened and never had any issues. I like to go to an actual open register because I feel like I would like to give some people some job security and not go to self check out. Let me tell you what happened tonight when I went, my shopping experience was fine. I was able to find all the items that I needed. Store was clean that was great. Time to go up to the register and check out saw that the register was open, and went ahead and put my items up on the belt. When I got there, nobody was in line. There was just three employees standing in there talking to each other. I am putting my items on the belt and the gentleman starts bringing it up and continues reading it up and continues his conversation with the other coworkers. I had over $200 worth of stuff so you know it wasn't a small order. The entire time I was being rung up, he continued the conversation with the other employee. Did not acknowledge Me matter of fact when that when he was done ringing it up, didn't even tell me what my total was put my receipt in a bag didn't even hand it to me. I feel this was the most rude experience. I have had almost anywhere. You do not Continue talking to employees and ignore your customer. I did report it over to the manager customer service and she said she was going to talk to the two employees that were involved. If you work in customer service, I know it's difficult. I've done it plenty of times myself. But the number one rule is you acknowledge your customer. Acknowledge them when they walk up to. You acknowledge them when it's time to leave. I will continue going to the store, but I will think twice about using that gentleman or the lady. I'm not gonna mention names, when I go to the checkout again.

Wish I could give negative stars!!!!! They didn't deliver my order!!! Refuse to give a refund because of a "scribble" in the signature box!!!! 300$ I'm out of and the worst customer support I've ever dealt with!

Talk about a piss-poor Torani syrup selection - off to World Market on State Street!
Ebenezer's Anni L.

Frak! Every and I mean every disabled parking space taken! Is there a freakin' handicapped convention here? Good selection of merchandise but more disabled spaces needed! Jeeze!

I hate this store. They are always out of stock on everything. It's a complete waste of time going there.

I miss the days of a thriving mall, but for now this is a nice place to reminisce in those days. The men's have a good selection on dress shirts and sporting ware.

The only time I have been in this mall before this trip was before the pandemic when I arrived in town having forgotten my Apple Watch charger at home. We went straight from DTW to the Apple store here, purchased one and left. We had time to look around on this trip as we had promised our granddaughter a trip to the mall on a rainy Sunday. As we walked in, I had an overwhelming sense of recognition of a store attempting to pass as a Nordstrom, a brand that we lost at home a few years ago during a downsizing event, leaving Colorado, my home state, with just one store left, and in Denver. The layout was so similar, I could find particular categories of goods at a glance. Even the rack choices were the same, the signage fonts too. Each area had a formally dressed staff member, waiting for customer questions, often with their hands held at their sides. And always smiling, not unlike statues. I had worked in a different company and in Colorado years ago in retail management but with a more casual engagement sales model. If no customers actively in sight, my staff always found things to do, arranging sizes or colors of items that had been moved out of place on a busy day. I also noticed that the prices here seemed far more affordable than I usually saw in Nordstrom's. The other thing I noticed was that I did not recognize most of the brand names and the feel of the fabrics was of a lower quality. I did not see styles that would have been expected in Colorado and not surprising as I had never shopped in the Midwest. Regional differences are very real. My granddaughter and my husband wandered over to the children's department, not to look for clothes but for a fun object and she found some trendy Squishables, one of which she convinced her grandfather to purchase for her. It was purple and came in a box, is the only description I can offer. But you really could squish into anything you wanted. It made her happy and that's what counts. If I lived in town here, I cannot imagine that I would come here again. You'd probably find me over at the REI store where I have shopped in the past, even for dresses! I once found one in my size when here on an earlier visit, which was sold out at both my home REI and their Seattle warehouse. I promptly bought it and I still have it though it no longer fits. It's one of those things that never goes out of style, is beautiful quality fabric and well-constructed. I am wearing it in my profile picture in the "Hiking at Boulder Falls" picture from a few years back. I am still hoping that someday it will fit again. I'm glad I saw this place so I can really appreciate regional differences and I will say, when I actively engaged staff, they were very polite.

Visited here with my hubby while in town for the Michigan rivalry game with Ohio. The mall almost reminded me of the Orlando mall attached to the airport. List of shops full of life here, lots of places to buy merch for MU (although expensiveeee) We even bumped into The Grinch who deserved an Oscar award for his performance. He even got on FaceTime with my sister Overall the mall has a lot of the standard staples and a rush of people shopping that keeps it alive.

Apple was the only serious stop I made but for a quick drink at the Starbucks kiosk in the center hub, which apparently no longer exists. However, the Apple Store has been greatly expanded, even bigger now than my Apple Store at home which is fairly large compared to most. I regretted that I did not have time to browse it as none of my companions was interested in joining me and the goal the day we were here was to give our almost 10-year-old granddaughter some treats at the mall. She's not yet a tween but she loves the mall for a special outing. We had some snacks, there were plenty in the center, including Pinkberry and Auntie Anne's and several more too far away for me to check out. We also visited a few stores, Claire's and Bath and Body Works for her and Von Maur for me to see as I had never seen one before. It met our needs for a rainy day and not something I do often. Our local mall closest to home is outdoors, but a traditional enclosed mall is 20 minutes away. This was only 10 minutes or less from our hosts' home. This mall was very busy on a rainy September weekend, though there was plenty of outdoor parking available in the mall lot. I would like to note that this mall has very attractive and well maintained restrooms, not always the case with large malls.

My love for Marshalls vary as their inventory changes and as our shopping needs shift. I'll confess…read morewe don't frequent Marshalls simply because I am a very selective & careful budget based shopper. Marshalls is the kind of place that you cannot plan to buy a specific item from. Items come & go as they become available and sell out. I will say that it's a good place to grab an unspecific gift you have flexibility around. It's true they typically offer name brands and fairly new apparel trends for less than the normal retail price. This most recent visit I found a pair of Nike running style shoe prices well ($34.99) for my youngest who is in rapid stages of growth. Of course I didn't plan to purchase his shoes that soon with back to school still weeks away but i grabbed the shoes because it is a good deal. These same Nike shoes retail in other places for at least $20 more. On the other hand my teen daughter didn't find the outfit she was looking for. Besides the long lines, service is usually good. Cashiers are few in # (probably because they are underpaid) but they are friendly.

I said excuse me, can I ask you a question she turned around and walked away I said, excuse me, and walk towards the front 3 to 4 more times she completely ignore me. I asked another employee is there a manager here and they stated she was the manager completely rude and unprofessional, so I would not recommend. I asked another employee how do I file a complaint. Moreover, before this location moved a few doors down I walked into the old location a few days before they completely moved and it was 90% empty. I asked a lady at the front counter wow what happened she got an attitude and pointed to the moving sign that I didn't see posted on the back wall and turned her hea. This is a pattern of rudeness, unprofessionalism and terrible customer service. I have shopped at Marshalls for 15 years buying dress pants for work but I will not return again and make sure my friends and family do the same.
