Walmart March 1, 2026 (5/5) Visited this Walmart yesterday and came away pleasantly surprised. It's a larger location with a spacious layout, wide aisles, and a clean, organized feel throughout the store. Everything seemed well stocked and easy to navigate. What really stood out was the food court setup. Inside this Walmart they have a Subway, Auntie Anne's, and Cinnabon -- which is rare these days. Most Walmart locations have one food option at best, so seeing three recognizable brands under one roof was unexpected and impressive. The staff were also notably friendly. We had a particularly positive interaction with a very kind woman working near the fitting rooms. She was attentive, helpful, and welcoming -- the kind of employee that makes a difference in the overall experience. This location feels well managed and customer-focused. Definitely one of the better Walmart visits we've had. read more

First it's a poorly stocked Walmart, especially in regards to produce. Lettuce is always rusty and soaked. Rarely will I purchased. They used the greeters as a bag checker as you exit. It's like Costo, the greeter will stop you scan your receipt then rifle through your stuff before you leave. After being harassed a number of times I no longer will shop here. It's not Costco so won't put up with the poor quality of merchandize couple with the exit searches. I guess Lucas is a high crime area. If you want to visit a Walmart, take the drive to Murphy or to the Neighborhood Walmart up the street on Angel in Allen for fresher produce. Its always well stocked and you're skip the strip search when you exit. read more

I'm still shaken by what happened to me at this Walmart store. I walked in like any other customer--peaceful, respectful, simply there to shop. But during my visit, I was wrongly and publicly accused of stealing. I was humiliated, treated like a criminal, and made to feel completely disrespected. The worst part? I had done absolutely nothing wrong. Eventually, they realized their mistake, but by then the damage was done. No apology could undo the embarrassment, fear, and emotional pain I experienced in that moment. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity--not suspicion. I truly hope this store trains its staff better so that no one else ever has to go through what I did. And it was on my birthday. Happy birthday to me. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this Walmart. I have been coming here for almost 3 years now and I have always had good experiences. The staff are so friendly, it always so clean and organized and it is almost always stocked with the things that I need. I like shopping here and I came with a family member and when the lady was checking receipts my fam member said check the receipt and I understood it perfectly fine and then she proceeded to mocked him and said "hahaha I thought he said chicken". I find this racist behavior disgusting and truly unacceptable. read more

As y'all know, in the past I've given this store high marks. That changes today. I just had a few items and headed to the 20 items or less check out. In front of me was a lady with literally an overflowing basket of 100 plus items. The cashier said nothing! I called another checker over to ask if she would like to call a manager to help this situation. She said they were not allowed to refuse a customer. I said I'm not suggesting that but since this is a teasing store I thought you might want someone to see and analyze this. Again she repeated the same. I was disappointed she didn't call a manager as I requested. On top of that I was inconvenienced. They may have lost a good customer. read more

WTH!! I was buying $2,000 in Money Orders & they asked for my DL. NO OTHER WALMART IN DFW ASKS FOR THIS but I needed the money orders so I gave it to him. But then he asked for my SOCIAL SECURITY #!! That's where I draw the line! I said no way. Seemed like he either entered the wrong amount or he is doing a credit card application. Sounded like he was just trying to defraud me. I walked away. No way they need all that for a money order. I know people that work at Walmart and I will have to bring it up with management or the district manager because Christian was asking for too much personal information. The online pickup I did wasn't the best first experience I had. I went inside to get my order from their tower. After putting in my order number and being notified they were coming I waited like 15 minutes with another person waiting as well. The other person had to go over and ask if anyone was getting out orders. Apparently the person who was supposed to be there at the tower just wasn't? The lady working at customer service eventually came over to help us, but as she was she was telling another coworker where she needed him...while she was trying to help us. We'd been waiting for a while too! She then had us walk with her from the tower to a door near the pharmacy. When she could have just gotten it and walked back over to us instead of us walking with her. Not sure I'll be doing this again, it wasn't very organized and the workers didn't seem to care too much for service. read more

I enjoy coming to this Walmart when I am in Allen. It is so nice and clean. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The store appears well stocked every time I have been there. Parking is good. There is easy access out of the parking lot to a signal light if you don't feel like trying to fight traffic getting out. read more

I'm more of a Target person but I do go to Wal-Mart from time to time. I like this Wal-Mart location because its super huge and it's clean. I often come here to buy household supplies which is usually cheaper and has more variety than Target. There's also a huge food section here so I usually get some essentials here as well, such as condiments, drinks, flour/sugar, etc. They also sell Totino's pizza here, including the weird flavors that I usually don't see in other stores (mac and cheese pizza, anyone?) Overall, it's almost like any Wal-Mart but it is pretty nice as its super huge and clean! Not crowded either. There are a few stores nearby, like Kwik Car, Starbucks, and Bank of America. read more

I don't know why I keep coming to this location. They are always out of... everything. They're always saying it's coming in, and then since they're always out it seems like it never is. I always wind up in here late at night because there are less people wandering the aisle, but it seems like it's because everyone is always at the front waiting in line for the one register that is open. Everyone is helpful which is probably why I still come here. Andrea is one of my favorite lines to get in at the register...if it's open. She's always so bubbly! read more

Do the employees here get any training? I purchased a pair of Beats by Dre' for my son at Christmas and purchased the extra 2 year warranty. At the time, I asked what I needed to do, the cashier told me I would get an e-mail. I never thought about it until now. I called the company that handles the warranty and she said the headphones are still covered by Beats. I told her I don't have the receipt anymore so she gave me the phone number to call. All I needed was the reciept. I called the number and it said there was a 5 minute wait. No problem. I kept getting messages to go to the local Walmart I made the purchase to get a copy of the receipt faster. Finally, a final message that said they were too busy and it hung up. We'll here I am at Walmart. Adar was trying to help me but couldn't find the receipt in their computer. They didn't want to look for it until I told them that their corporate message told me to come into this store to get a copy. Adar still never found the receipt and told me she couldn't do anything for me. She then handed it off to another young lady to check. The young girl asked for the headphones to search the date of purchase. She found the date it was purchased bit couldn't find the reciept. Hmm.... I found out that Adar was a manager! I am utterly surprised by this Wal-mart!!! I don't shop Wal-mart often, mainly because they are often dirty, unorganized, cluttered, and the associates are miserable. But this Wal-mart was different. It was clean, very organized, clearly labeled, easy to navigate, easy to shop, and the associates where kind, smiling, and incredibly helpful! I'm shocked, to the core! Whatever this Wal-mart location is doing, I sure hope others will learn from. Definitely a location I will come back too! read more

Walmart Supercenter - Grocery Near Me - Lucas, Texas

I like this store. I pick up most of my groceries from here. Staff is courteous and helpful. In fact I have never met anyone rude or unhelpful. The reason I give three stars instead of five is their online ordering of items available in the store is not up to par. (Not groceries) I order something. It says it is in stock and I can pick up when ready. If I order at 10:00 AM and they supposedly have it in the store, I may or may not get notice it is ready that day. It might even be the next day or not at all. What is the problem here? By the time they get around to pulling my order they may have sold out but my money is already spent. Target gets it right. I place an order for pickup during store hours and 95% of the time it is pulled within the hour. Usually it is pulled in 10 minutes or less. Am I here to diss WM? No I just want the system to work like it is supposed to. read more

Im here at least three times a week and over time I have become a PRO at self checkout. Plan on waiting in line FOR FREAKING EVER if you want the slowest cashier in the world to bag your stuff Besides that, employees are kind, especially the old man at the front that greets people...oh, and the store is always clean! read more

I guess the second time is not a charm. Went this Walmart this morning and the same thing happened as in the Coit Rd Plano store as last night. NO employees around in the sporting goods area, took me 45 minutes and 5 employees to buy just 3 boxes of .22 ammo. Seemed to be a lot of employees in the TV area. This store does not give a damn about Customer Service at all. They should make the store completely self service and get rid of all the deadbeat employees and mangers alike. Won't be returning there ever again. read more

Management needs to care about employees. And the Asian guy in gaming, it's embarrassing. I asked if they had any PlayStation Vita memory cards. (I know, I know) and I've never seen someone so confused. He stared for a few seconds and after saying "ummmm.." He said "PlayStation 4?" He said that twice. Noooo :/ vita! How do you work in gaming and not know the name of consoles? I could easily take over his job but would hate the pay. They need to train and cheer up their employees more. But I will say at around three when they stock shelves and align everything it looks really great. The younger girl at customer service who now wears a yellow vest is super unprofessional and always yells about and at Mike. Mike seems grumpy but issues between employees shouldn't be handled in front of customers. The kid who they hired as janitor is extremely friendly and polite, even smiles (wow someone not angry working at this Walmart). He does a good job from the few times I've seen him. The white secret shopper red headed man in glasses is a little too obvious but he does try to be sneaky, props for that. Mahlia is a nice cashier and Mandeep was a polite cashier when checking out and I love when Sadia is working, she's continuously friendly and gets me checked out quickly. There was a lady who I believe her name was Barbara in the produce department, of everyone she's my favorite. Extremely friendly and way way helpful. She was busy but gladly helped me find the item I needed and we even joked on the way there. She's a great employee and I hope I see more of her. Another super amazing employee is the guy who works in the camera department. He's an elderly Indian man (I'm sorry i didn't catch your name) he helps me find the exact thing (I needed a chord to my battery pack) and he does it with a smile. When passing by he always smiles with a "hello". If I ever need help on that side of Walmart I make sure to find him. I hope management realizes some of the really great people they have. Barbara, Sadia, and the super cool Indian guy - you guys are the best. Makes making a haul to Walmart a little less dreadful. (Shout out to the Subway woman for making some rad sandwiches also) read more

If you were to shop at any Walmart, it would be in your best interest to shop at a BRAND NEW one. As you know, Walmarts get ran down very fast and become nasty. Thankfully this Walmart is brand spanking new, so get there before it turns gross! read more

I was born and raised in Lucas and I never thought I'd see the day we'd get a Walmart here. I must say this is by far the nicest Walmart I've ever been to! Check it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean :) read more

Like a freaking fool, I left my checkbook with all my credit cards, my drivers license and pretty much all my livelihood at the register in outside lawn and garden. The sales clerk Regina promptly turned it in. I was able to get it back the next day. I am so thankful for her! This could have been a total nightmare. Thank you, Regina! read more

Beautiful store! We shopped here A LOT when it first opened... something has happened to the meat and produce. Walk through the produce isle, it is rotten and molded. I have asked the assistant store manager for the last 4 months when they were going to get good produce in and he literally said he did not know and he knew it was bad. We have bought ground beef and chicken there twice in a row and gotten sick BOTH times. The store is beautiful but I am sick of seeing every cashier on their cell phone when they should be checking me out in line, i have actually stood and waited for one girl to get off her phone and acknowledge me. Terrible service, terrible produce, terrible meat but the store is clean! We go to Kroger and Market Street now just so we don't get sick! I will happily pay more. read more

10/10 do NOT recommend. I bought a bag of strawberry seeds for a school project. Upon opening the bag, I find only a relatively large ball of dirt. I come to a conclusion that the seeds are somewhere inside the ball of dirt. After 5 weeks of observing and tending to the plant with no results, I decide to look for the seeds in the soil. No seeds were found in the soil. I have been very fond of this store and now my perception (and grades) have experienced drastic changes. This is all because of the lies I have been fed through this store. I beg that you go to other stores such as Kroger. read more

This Walmart is by far the best Walmart in the area. The store is very clean and organized. That is saying a lot for Walmart stores in the area, especially if you have stepped foot into the Walmart on 75 and Spring Creek. I am pretty sure they get 90% of the People at Walmart photos from that location. The one in Lucas is 24/7 which is a plus as well they seem to have a quite a bit more merchandise in this location. I will definitely be going here for my Walmart needs. read more

Always go to this walmart and never had an issue. Today I received poor customer service, I work in the hospitality industry and know how to treat people and how people should be treated. Some people need a little more training in handling situations . I went to get school supplies for my little sister however one of the supplies that was asked for was fine tip sharpies. When we went to self checkout the machine said we needed a employee assistance my sister and I were confused. Oumar came and looked at us and said both of you are under 18 you can't buy sharpies, assuming both our ages....I told him I was 20 and I'm purchasing the items. He said he needed to see both of our ID's and I told him I'll show him mine but my little sister is in school she doesn't carry an ID with her. He was giving us a hard time in till he finally just said we needed to talk to the manager I told him fine call the manager over. She came over and asked what the issue was and I told her he wasn't letting us buy sharpies she continued to say that we had to be 18 to buy them,again assuming my age....I showed her my ID showing that I'm 20 and I was finally able to purchase my sharpies. This should not have took so long. Both the employee and the manager handled this situation poorly. read more

Don't get me wrong I like Walmart I have no problem with this location its self, but today me and my friend were walking out after getting stuff for her room and this young lady that scans items stopped us. Let me add we didn't go through any self checkout, all of our stuff was taken care of by the cashier. The cashier didn't put one of the items in the bag (a trash can). As we were leaving she was starring at us and yells hey! Then said I need to search your cart. I was fine with that although everyone else had things in their cart that were of more quantity. Then we asked nicely what the reason was behind this and she explained it was an unbagged item that she needed to check. So she scanned those up to make sure we bought them and then proceeded to slowly scan the items that had been bagged. Long story short, me and my friend felt kind of singled out in this situation, we were made to look like thieves. I understand the policies but it just felt personal. But hey now I know to make sure to tell the cashier to bag all my items so I can leave! read more

When WalMart works with outside vendors, they need to agree on a return policy. I spent 30+ minutes in the customer service line trying to understand a lady who did not speak clearly, only to be told I couldn't return the item because it was not Walmart but another vendor! She gave me a 1-800 number to call, they couldn't help, had to wait to be transferred to the original manufacturer. Then I was told they would not pay return postage. This is infuriating to have to go thru so much inconvenience only to be told I would have to pay $7 to return a $23 purchase. This is the worst customer service! I order and shop from Walmart often and frequently have issues. If this is the service I am stuck with, I'll spend my dollars elsewhere. There are many other stores and online retailers that take care of their customers. And by the way, I'll donate the shoes to a local charity so maybe someone in need can use them. To me walmart is walmart.... but leonard the pharmacist is the only reason am taking time to do this review. He is knowledgeable (as I would expect a pharmacist to be) but he took his time to go over my medications and how my insurance and discount card work. I will come back to this walmart simply based upon this fact and leonard's customer service and pride in his work... thank you for a job well done! read more

Their pharmacy is horrible!!! The pharmacist was rude and trying to discourage me from getting my son a flu shot. We have to fill out three forms and then they ask us the same questions when they call us up to the counter and then they say "we will just process the paperwork and call you". My insurance covers the flu shot at 100%---but not at this walmart--30 bucks for the needle!!!! We walked out because her attitude and the charge for a needle was outrageous! I'll never go back to that pharmacy. read more
