I love this target location, I used to be a big Walmart shopper, but Target grocery has quickly impressed me in the recent year. Their meat selection is actually very good, I like that they have meats that are vacuum sealed, so freshness can stay quite a bit longer. The steak I got was very fresh, so that gets high marks. Workers are pretty professional here as well, it was a good shop over the weekend, just busy, but nothing like the Allen outlets! Absolute nightmare. read more

I specifically came today thinking they would have a particular childs toy I had in mind. They didn't,but I found an equally interesting play thing. In addition,I picked up a few items from the grocery isle. I also ran across Shake and Bake! Haven't seen that or cooked with it in decades so I picked up a box. Eww! Fucking eww! I enjoy raw veggies. All they have for raw Brussel sprouts are the steam in bag variety. I peel the outer layer, bite the stem off, spit it out and eat the rest of the vegetable. Half of them in the bag had dark spots on them. I skipped those. Then some had dark spots under the outer layer. I then noticed fucking worms in them. That's fucking gross. I threw them in the trash before thinking of taking pictures. Nasty shit. read more

When we were paying. Notice the manger telling some of the cashiers to turn of their light so they can go on break or call it a night. We were the last one in our line, but then a customer pulled in to our line wit a full cart. I mean it was full. I've been to other places like Walmart where you just get told "I'm sorry this lane is closed" while their light is still on. Instead the cashier said "I can still take you, you're ok". Like I said that cart was full. Whether she was going on break or home she didn't mind. That's good customer service. Didn't get her name but she had purple-ish hair. This is a nice, big Super Target just off of highway 75. There is a Rudy's BBQ and a Cabela's just across from it, not hard to miss. It's always nice and clean every time I've been here. What I like about Target is their nice shopping carts, they are very sturdy and don't wobble when you push them. The people working here are nice and I've never had a problem. It's set up like you would expect, there are groceries on one side and clothing, electronics and toys spread out through out the store. It can get a little weird getting off or on the freeway from the store, it's easy to miss the on ramp when you are leaving. That's more of a nit pick than anything else. Great job, Target! read more

Very clean & organized Target Superstore in The Village at Allen, TX. I arrived here Oct 4, 2019 for the launch of the new "Disney Store at Target". This day there was a national launch of 25 selected Targets in USA. Plans are known to bring that up to 40 soon. I had read an investor blog saying they weren't impressed with this "gimmick" so don't make a run on either stock. Okay, this is dedicated mostly to modern era Disney: Frozen, Moana, Vampirina, Star Wars, tilted more toward the girls' stuff. But, all very nice, cool stuff...I wanna be a kid again! And the "theater where families can watch clips" turned out to be a big screen running trailers of upcoming Disney features. There are original Disney Stores around here already, but the foot traffic at Target will be greater in volume. read more

I love Target as much as anyone else, but walking into this Target is like walking into the aftermath of a tornado. Nothing is organized and when you ask the associates about it they just tell you "well this is just the way it is"...they literally don't care about how the store looks or helping you find anything. The shoes in particular are absurdly disorganized. I have 2 toddlers and have to buy them shoes every few months, I don't have time to search every box on 3 different isles for their sizes. And to be clear, I worked retail for years specifically in shoes and organized them every night so for me this is unacceptable. Target management please work on your store. read more

YOUR GIRL LOOOVES HER TARGET! I've made it a goal to go to every Target in the Dallas area at least once. It may take a while... but I'm determined to get to all of them. This Target is beeeaauuuuuutiful. I read that Target is remodeling their stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and thank goodness for it because they look so, so good. This Target is also really big and spacious. The only problem may be the fact that it's right on the side of 75, so going in and out could be an issue depending on traffic. Other than that, it's great and I love it and I would so drive all the way to Allen to shop here (yes, I am very passionate about Target). As Super Target stores go, this one is, well, super! As another reviewer said, maybe it's because it's so new, but it's very, very clean and always well stocked with goodies. There's even a Starbucks inside if you need a fix while shopping. As you face the store, groceries are to the left and electronics are on the far right, with housewares in the middle. Target is, though, beginning to move up the ladder a bit in terms of quality (a good thing) and price (maybe not so good). I saw a chest-of-drawers in their "build it yourself" section, and it was $300 (holy cow). I then noticed that it was a Thomasville branded piece, which probably explains a lot of the price. Maybe it's back to WalMart for the cheap stuff. Still, I love shopping at Target because it's just cool. The decor just appeals to me for some reason; I always feel welcome inside those red walls. Plus, at this location, if you need to do some other shopping or dine out, the Village at Allen and Village at Fairview await just outside the door. read more

October and my sister and I were looking for swimsuits. Terrible choices available. 50+ tops and 2 bottoms. Since it was sister's birthday, I let her have the one bottom that would fit. I got a bigger sized one. Pros: plenty of parking, clean, lots of bikini tops to choose from Cons: not that many bikini bottoms to choose from. I wanted popcorn, but the clerk was too slow moving. After 5 minutes of waiting for the person in front of me to finish, I walked away. I didn't really need those extra calories anyways. read more

Growing up in the 90s, most Target stores did not have food items. Starting in the 2000s, they did. Because of this, whenever I saw a Super Target, I wondered what made it "super"? Unless it functioned like a wholesale store like Costco, I thought food was just the missing piece to the 90s era Target. It's 2019, I needed baby wipes not because I have a baby but because I like having them around to clean my hands and for any minor clean up. I like getting them in bulk and Target usually sells big boxes of of their own up and up brand. Green Tea Cucumber is a favorite scent of mine. When I walked in, I finally knew what Super Target meant. Not only is the food section a full blown grocery store, but the Target is just gigantic and spacious. This Target has the best lighting for your Instagram pictures. It is really such a pretty ass Target store. The most beautiful Target store I've been to. I was also in need of a fly swatter, as it was summer in Texas. I went to the outdoor/patio aisle and I asked someone to help me. He was very helpful in finding me a high quality fly swatter that was cheaper than another flimsy one they sell. Near this outdoor/patio area, I saw a whole section dedicated to s'mores making. Containers, actual grills for your BBQ grill, tongs, and more. Anyone who is close to me and is wanting to get me something for my birthday, look for s'mores items at TARGET! Again, this is the prettiest Target I've ever been to. I might want to update my prescription to be refilled here but then this will cause me to do more damage to my credit card than what I'm already used to. read more

This Super Target definitely has their online/pickup services down to a "T"! Everything was done in a timely and professional manner! I placed my order and within a half hour/forty five minutes, I received a text stating my order was ready! Everything was shopped and bagged up and ready to go in mere minutes. Their staff is amazing, not only was everything that I ordered correct, but it was bagged nicely and very organized. They have great communication and their in store staff, for pickup, is very professional, timely and courteous. All in all if you are trying to choose an online and pickup service store, you should choose the Super Target on Stacy in Allen, they are AMAZING! read more

They've got workers scattered around just making sure the customers are doing alright and seeing if they need any help. AL, who I believe is a manager is phenomenal. Great location. This is a Super Target. It is always very clean & well managed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It tends to be very busy. But despite that the lines to check out go fast. Due to the Covid crisis (Just like all stores) it's hard to keep certain items in stock. But this isn't a complaint. I always will give a business four stars and never five stars do to room for growth and continue progress. I will say I've always been going to stores looking for the drink, "Fresca," and never have been able to find it. This issue is due to the product distribution company. Not with the store. Can't seem to be able to find this specific brand in any grocery stores in the last four months or so. But they are doing a great job and work hard to help you find what your looking for. read more

I love Target. I don't come here for produce BC I know better but I come here mainly to look at the new CDs and movies and tv shows section, the home section, and look at the newest Legos. Let's just say I'm kind of a Lego connoisseur. I love everything about building these structures and playing with the little people. I especially love the superhero ones. Recently, I went over and bought a box set for $40. I come home and I'm missing half the set. This has never happened to me before. The box didn't even look tampered with. Upset, I went back the next day to return my Lego box and the lady was just very pleasant about the whole thing. She returned it with no questions asked and I truly love when my problems are handled professionally and quickly. So thank you return lady for making my day. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. Dropped a prescription off in the dropbox before they opened Saturday morning, requested it be filled before the end of the day. When I returned an hour before the pharmacy closed and the clerk was clueless about where the prescription was, I discovered they hadn't even checked the dropbox. ALL DAY. Are you serious? To their credit, they said they'd get it ready in 10 minutes without me having to argue about it, but I got no apology for their incompetence or the delay. While waiting, I overheard the pharmacist loudly yelling on the phone at a doctor that she hadn't been able to read his prescription correctly and had just dispensed the wrong dosage of a medication!! She told the doctor he better call the patient and get them back to the pharmacy. Wow. When I checked out, copay was more than the last 10 times for the same prescription. Pharmacist's explanation was that the system just tells her what I'm supposed to pay. Thanks, that's so helpful. These people are morons. read more

This is definitely one of the better Targets in the area. I went midweek before 11am so I don't know if that's a factor but parking was a breeze, the store was clean, it wasn't crowded at all, and it had that lovely "Target popcorn" smell that wafted into your nostrils upon entering. I also loved that they had a CVS inside since I was looking to get a flu shot without having to schedule an appointment and wait a week with my primary care doctor. read more

I think what made this Target different than any other ones that I've been to was more produce and grocery items, also it seemed a lot bigger. The staff that we encountered was very friendly. I had left my Target card in the car and the cashier was nice enough to hold my stuff and suspend my transaction while I ran out to the car. The Starbucks worker also was very pleasant and friendly. Bathrooms are clean but what is up with Target not having toilet seat covers. Though like any other Target lots of random merchandise placed where they don't belong, but overall the store was clean and really bright. I know this is just another Super Target, but I have to say, I really like this location. Maybe because it is brand new, or maybe because it is located in the new Villages of Allen shopping center?? Whatever it is, it is much less stressful to me. Pro's: When I go, it is never crowded. It is clean, well stocked, and easy to shop. Con's: The down side about ALL Super Targets is that their produce is not the best. I have thrown out more produce from Target than any other chain. The oranges have been sour, the apples tasteless, and the broccoli had mold on it. Also, getting in and out of this place is tricky. They did not plan the entrances very well to this shopping area. But I come to Target to stock up on frozen foods, canned goods, and random household items with less stress than any Wal-mart. read more

It's Target... the place we love to love and our checking accounts / credit cards love to hate. You walk in there for 2 items and end up spending $150. I moved back to this side of town last month and was pleasantly surprised to find all the new stuff that has been built since I moved across town in 2008. I drive past another Target location to get to this one. It's new, it's clean, it's nice and it's HUGE and it seems to have a LOT more of a selection than the store over in West Plano. I found the perfect new curtains for my kitchen here, the cube organizer I had been waiting for the next paycheck to buy was on sale when I finally bought it and when I went in there last week to buy light bulbs... they had a large stack of them on clearance 50% off. Staff is extremely unhelpful is the grocery departments. I can never find the exact item I need but no one ever offers to help or even lop my direction. On the other hand, the clothing department is always organized correctly by size and folded nice and neat on the tables. I love going to the clothing section. They offer help there, too. The grocery departments, never. Always gotta get a pretzel with cheese and icee before leaving. Fat life. Overall, this isn't a bad target. I'm so glad they expanded their curbside offerings to include some groceries. I look forward to them being able to offer even more groceries in the future.
